I just watched her movie Wild Cirlde (Private Fetish Maschine - I know it sound a bit like Vivid, but itßs not, not with SMG!) and I am blown away! Now this flick sure combines two features I really enjoy, thus I am biased. But if you dont mind anal and look for something new, you may well give this new director a try. on the plus side I noted: on the minus side: Now during the last 2 years I was almost exclusively booked on Platinum X/RLD/EA and Diabolics, but this maybe the additional spice I was looking for a long time!

I hope she steps on the accelerator, but not within the sex scene - her scenes really occur too quickly for my liking, as if directorially she's in a hurry. I find that a major detractor to her work. On the plus side, she has used the astounding Sandy Style twice now and dolled her up to produce Sandy's two best scenes (WILD CIRCLE and THEATRE OF LUST). She is predisposed to anal, and loves this quiet, sexual atmosphere. Her films are incredibly watchable whether you're horny or not. What I think many porn fans weren't astute enough to pick up on was that Kovi fetishised the sexual image, in that his visual image of sex became the thing he worshipped, rather than the sex itself. It puts a barrier between viewer and sex, and I think goes some way to explaining anti-Kovi sentiment...but you know, SMG does the same thing with much THE WILD CIRCLE, and in this way both she and Kovi are very different from Frank Thring, and actually quite different from Tanya Hyde. I think Tanya Hyde is the single greatest porn director of the past five years: she is the one hard-hardcore porn director who work I have no qualms in showing to women, and responses are pretty good. I think Susie MG can give Tanya a run for her money, but she has to wallow in her sex scenes in the way the best gonzo directors do. [Link] |
