I think it's exactly the opposite of a big payday - many of the scenes he shoots seem to be content trades, i.e. the girls don't get paid much, if anything at all, but are (theoretically) allowed to monetize the scene as well; I've seen some of the Strokes scenes show up on performers' personal websites. But of course many of them don't actually have websites and never will, so the only place these shoots end up getting seen and monetized is Strokes's site (which has been open since 2013, I believe, although there was barely any content for the first year or so).
So yeah, I'd agree that he's figured out a working business model, but I'm not so sure it's a good deal for the models he manages to convince to shoot with him, especially when they're already established names like Sydney Cole who have other options for "firsts".
