Anyone knows about movies after her Private work, other than the one mentioned in this thread? I can add Wasteland, shot in a Dutch fetish club. Are there other movies besides these two?
No, but check out the BEHIND THE SCENES on Rubberfuckers Rule and you'll see her, with short dyed magenta (scarlet?) hair, middle-aged, but alluring nonetheless.
Why Private didn't figure out a way to keep her I'll never know. Why a company like Zero Tolerance or Platinum X hasn't gone after her is utterly beyond me. An atmospheric, lurid director who knows how to use lighting and colour to produce truly memorable adult films without sacrificing the heat, like Ninn does badly.
Medusa Gottardi is excellent, but no one will top Hyde in my book. Can't say I'm impressed with this new stuff I see from her. Oh well.

Well, considering the ratio to male and female directors in the biz compared to onscreen talent, I can't see why having the very few non-former-performer female directors that we have is such a stretch.
As for Tanya Hyde, I thought "she" was in fact a nom de plume for photographer Trevor Watson?
I hate to destroy your illutions, but Tanya Hyde is indeed a middle-aged man. "She" is better known as the quite BRILLIANT London-based photographer Trevor Watson. Google around a bit, and you will discover plenty of excellent photos. His pictures are perverted and classy at the same time. He has also published a great deal of high-quallity images in a dedicated Private hard-cover book. Dunno if he ever made a film under the name Trevor Watson, though.
It's a fact. Tanya Hyde is the video moniker for multi-talented fetish lensman Trevor Watson. Got the skinny direct from his mates at Skin Two, for whom he has been shooting low these many years.
Sadly, IMO, the quality of Private's Pirate Fetish Machine line has taken a nose dive since he quit directing it.
