I am always fascinated by tattoos, and have several scattered about my body (though, being myself woefully inartistic, mine aren't overly exciting). I do find, however, that the tats can be terribly inappropriate to a scene. (Would the character being portrayed likely have a tattoo? Such micro doses of realism are important to me.) Other than them not being fit for a scene, I enjoy seeing a woman's ink. On the other hand, since a couple of posters have also raised the point of piercings, too much hardware definitely puts me off. I hate to see a woman loaded down with pierced nipples, tongue stud, labia ring, etc. I have no idea why I have this split vote on skin art vs piercings; just part of my basic inconsistency, I guess.
+1, I prefer to see girls as 'normal' as possible.... Tatooed girls makes it unbeliavable for me to think about them as 'normal' girls, wether in movies or real life... Perhaps I'm wrong, but the more tatoos I see in a girl, the more the girl seems like a total whore, messed-up girl....A total turn off to me, so strong turn off, that I fast forward the scenes, or avoid movies when I find out a lot of tatooed girls in.
Normally i'm not into a lot of tats, i'm not against them, just don't find them sexy, except Tricia Oaks, she is amazing, and the tats actually make her hotter than I could imagine her being without them.
I'm with you m'man. I LOVE tats. My old girlfriend had her zodiac sign on her back. It was so big it came about midway up. Really hot. Adrianna Nicole's tat to me is in the right place for her. There seems to be a new trend of tattoos on the lower abs, sometimes dual, sometimes on one side. Obviously these ae hard to ignore. Additionally, these and other tattoos smack of lack of confidence. Tattoos which are meant to distract from a perception of long-waistedness, like tattoos on the chests of women with small breasts. Confidence is sexy. Nudity is sexy also, tattoos can be disrobing just to show off tattoos, instead of one's body. However, tattoos are presented as an abstraction, and obviously a tattoo means different things to different people.
I think tattoos come in two varieties: awful and then hideous. Due to the excessive presence in our culture in general and thus in the porn performer pool I have learned I can ignore some tatoos if not too extreme (Example: I bought almost every dvd released with Tiffany Hopkins while ignoring her tatooed arm band and a small something tattoed on the butt that shows only in a couple of dvds.) If a girl goes too extreme, say cover most of an arm or generally putting so many on her body that every angle of view is filled, then I pass on videos containing that performer. I don't want to really point out anyone; as an example I own somewhere around 60 dvds of one performer who decided to start becoming a walking billboard and now I just can not bring myself to buy something with that much "ink" on her. I still enjoy the old videos and very much wish her well in life; just not adding to the dvd collection with new videos.
Tattoos are a turn off for me. The idea behind porn is to enjoy the body of a beautiful naked woman. It is hard to appreciate their body when they have more ink on their skin than a career sailor. Something small and feminine is nice, sexy, and can be a turn on. But when you have all these lines and radical lettering covering large portions of their body it makes it difficult to appreciate them. Over the years I've seen many beautiful porn stars with amazingly flawless skin subject their bodies to tattoos. Such a waste. I will not watch movies with women who are saturated with tattoos. It's too distracting and not sensual at all. There are numerous movies which I wanted to buy, but because the female on the box has too much body art, I will put it down. Hopefully, this is just a cycle, and the art of porn will return back to people showing skin. Even more so, I hope these actresses realize that as we age, and the skin begins to go south, it will look even less appealing.

Lately I've noticed two wrist tattoos, on Samantha Ryan and Sinn Sage. In most face and body shots, they look pretty nice, until the angle changes or they move their arms and show the tattoos that become distracting. A more visible tattoo on the back, shoulder, outer arm, etc. would get the tattoo sighting done at the beginning so it's less of an issue later in the scene.
I love tattoos in most cases, not some of the trendy hipster tattoos where you know someone went into a shop, looked at the wall and said I want "THAT", no offense to people that have something like that, because I am in that same category on 2 of mine. I love tattoos that tell a story or have a uniqueness that you know you are not going to see anywhere else, then it really falls in line as art to me. I love looking at good tattoos like I love going to the Getty, or the Metro. I also love tattoos the compliment the shape of a body, that the curves of the art accentuate the beauty of the curves of the body. The biggest thing I love about tattoos is the stories behind them!! Even the ones picked off the wall usually have a "why" and that story makes the person marked with them more interesting, expressive, unique and beautiful! Another awesome thing is the culture behind it and the bond between people that have never met. When I bump into someone who has noticeable ink that you can tell has a story its like the art has already introduced us and there is like an instant bond where its like we can talk as friends that have known each other for a while, good art brings people together to allow those stories to be told.
Is it Adrianne Deville with the tattoo around the ring of her asshole? I have tried reading what it says to no avail. Can anyone tell? Kinda turns me on though. Facial tattoos are the only turn off for me.
+1 for the minority very slowly turning into the majority. I love to see girls with these big designs on their backs or arms. I dont see how you could go so far as to say the tattoos ruin the scenes but thats just personal preference I guess.
Love tats as long as they are professional. I hate tats that look like someone's boyfriend did them back when they were 17, that's just trashy. People could say the same thing about a million different types of main stream trends. I am NOT a drugged out trash mess, i am an educated business woman and if that doesnt open your mind i dont know what would. You have to be open to the idea of stereo types, though it may have fit the majority at one time, it obviously is an outdated view. I love my tattoos and i dont think they effect the way i look negatively (in reference to would i be "hotter" with or with out them) they mean a lot to me and i like the way i am :)

Love to see tattoos on performers, as long as they are done well, regardless of size or position on the body. Many of my fave pornstars have tattoos. Some girls have tattoos that are train wrecks. Like the tattoo artist was plastered when he drew it on. Capri Cavalli, Alexis Amore have tattoos that are blotches of ink. Scarlett Pain is littered with tattoos. And a bad tattoo right above her vagina. That's the tattoo that really makes it or breaks it. Some of those tattoos are horrible but I don't mind the tattoo that Liliane Tiger has above her bush. You want to see some bad tattoos look at Score's Eva Notty. She has part of a barbed-wire at the top of her hamstrings. I always like Belladonna's tattoo around her breast. I don't know why a girl would want to tattoo letters onto their fingers like Mya Nicole. Some performers have some really classy, sexy tattoos like Juelz Ventura, Adrenalynn and Jenna Jane/James (European). Some girls like Claudia Rossi, Angel Dark, Monica Sweetheart are great without tattoos. That goes for Aletta Ocean, as well. JENNA JANE with tattoo almost running the length of her body.
I personally don't like tattoos on women and don't understand why women get them. Many women in the industry are very attractive and a bunch of tattoos detracts from that attractiveness. I understand that is my opinion and everyone has the right to theirs. The trend in regard to women of more (and more masculine) tattoos that has taken place the last few years has actually caused me to buy less porn as I just think many women's large or numerous tattoos are down right nasty! ^ I assume you are a man (so am I) considering the "perpetual fanboy" avitar. I generally don't have a problem with tats on men (as long as the tat isn't on your dick or balls) -- we aren't supposed to be pretty or feminine! When I was growing up, a woman's tattoo was called a "tramp stamp". Tramp meant essentially that someone was a slut. Don't get me wrong, I like sluts -- but in my childhood it had a negative connotation. In growing up, I also found that these tattooed women weren't very feminine. I guess that has carried over to my life today, even though the masculine aspect of tattoos may have changed over the past 40 years! I do have one perpetual question: Why do pretty women want to mess with Mother Nature and get a bunch of tattoos (especially on the stomach, face, neck or genital area)? Isn't it wonderful to be an attractive woman and to be wanted by wealthy, well-cultured men?

None of my tattoo-covered friends are in their 50's. Old people now that have tattoos from decades ago aren't a good indication of what modernly tattooed people will look like. The ink they use now is waaaay better than the shit they used in the 40's and 50's. Also the artist's technique and ability has a lot to do with it. If you have a shitty tattoo now, it's gonna look shitty 30 years from now. Granted, most people in their 50's don't have nice, tight bodies anymore anyways so I don't think a little ink is gonna make you look much worse. Also, the social acceptance of tattoos 30 years from now is going to be much higher than it is now. All of these young folks like myself are very tolerant of tattoos and don't judge others on their tattoos, so when we're old and see other old people with tattoos, we're not gonna automatically think their tattoos are horrid. Granted, people are always gonna hate tattoos, but the amount of people with tattoos and piercings now and their current level of popularity says a lot about how people feel about them. There's always gonna be some dumb tattoos that people got without putting any thought into it that they might regret, but the amount of good tattoos and tattoo artists that there are in the world right now is at its highest level in history, I believe.

Exactly. I support the right for women to get tattoos, even if I don't like them. BTW my father has some tattoos from the 50's (maybe even the 40's) and that ink doesn't block pores like someone on here says modern ink does. Back then most tatts looked like what a prison tat looks like today. Also, I don't compare women getting tattoos to killing her own baby (abortion or otherwise). I would rather have a woman get a tattoo than get an abortion or commit a murder. As for Chode's comment, I agree that money does not change an asshole. You are getting popularity mixed up with people quietly respecting one's right to choose. Additonally, most of the people with tattoos are not anywhere near heavily inked. Also, everywhere I do business, people with piercings do not last at their job long at all, including adult businesses. Furthermore, everyone here is talking about what they do and do not like to see sexually or aestheticly, not social acceptance. This has nothing to do with puritanism. It has to do with a physical presentation we find so attractive that we are willing to pay to see.
Does Playboy shoot women who have tattoos? Their old policy was that they didn't want girls with tattoos but I don't know if that's changed. Maybe they airbrush some of them if they allow it. I really don't know why dark-skinned and black women/men get tattoos. They look really bad and aren't even be recognizable. Look at Dennis Rodman. Look how bad Kat Von D (from "LA Ink") looks! Doesn't have one decent or artistic tattoo on her body and she easily has 50% of her body inked. And she is a really pretty woman. Maybe it can become an OCD sort of problem with some people.
The nice thing is we can either buy or rent the product if that's what you want to see.The way the porn industry is right now, I prefer my ladies without so I cut back on my porn buying which is a good thing.

I'm just a fan of hot porn chicks... tattooed or not. What's more important then the tattoos to me is that everyone in the scene is actually ENJOYING themselves. I understand that tattoos is a preference just like brown hair is or fake boobs. I'd rather see a hot tattooed chick then a manly looking chick with the worst boob job you've ever seen. I recently worked for Combat Zone which was awesome because to my knowledge they haven't shot any heavily tattooed girls. Dion liked the scene so much he threw out the possibility of hiring more tattooed girls. I love surprising people and turning people on who would normally dislike the tattoos.
