Truth is, her popularity stemmed from the fact that she posted here a decent amount. She hasn't been hear in a long time and she has only had like 3 movies released so far this year.
I still like Teagan and never really followed up on her threads, but my "interest" diminished due to her lack of films recently.

The problem for many is the contract star thing, for different reasons. Some may be disappointed she's not heading down the path of being an Anabolic anal gymnast. Others may be disappointed with her reduced output.

Your obsevation about Teagan reminded me of Sunrise Adams and Jenna Haze. I remember back in 2001 when Sunrise and Jenna were two of the most popular girls in porn. When you walked into an adult video store it seemed like those two girls were in every new release. They were ubiquitous. Then Sunrise and Jenna became contract girls. When you walked into an adult store to check out the new releases their names were no longer in the cast lists. Both girls all but disappeared. Sure they were still working, but it almost seemed like they were retired.
When Teagan came on the scene in 2004 she was a sensation just like Sunrise and Jenna were in 2001. When you went into the Porn News-Press Release forum it seemed like Teagan was in every new release. Then Teagan became a contract girl, and like Sunrise and Jenna, it almost seems like she retired. Teagan is no longer going to be in the cast list for the latest Jules Jordan or Erik Everhard movie, and since many ADT members are gonzo fans they're naturally not going to see her in action anymore, so instead they're going to turn their attention to girls like Keri Sable. Nevertheless, I think Teagan will still remain popular because she has a loyal fan base, and because she has a look that appeals to a lot of guys.

I'm a big fan of teagan's work and I think we will still hear a lot about teagan, when her new movies come out, and when DP throws their PR machine behind her like they do with Jesse Jane. probably not. a compilation is usually done by a studio that has lots of scenes that they have shot for their company, not a gathering from a dozen different companies.
