Teagan, Congratulations on your nominations! As I have written in previous posts, I am a fan, and love the reviews that you have done for adultblureview.com. Personally, I don't mind how often Josh, AKA the "Digital Pimp", AKA "Rock Star", AKA "Mr. Teagan" posts in this thread. I enjoy his posts, as well as yours... I just want to write something about your reviews that I find endearing. We all have our favorite words, and it is obvious that one of your favorite words is "basically". This is not a criticism. I hope that you do not change anything about your articulation in your reviews. It just reminds me of a good quote from one of my favorite comedians, Mitch Hedberg; "I use the word 'totally' too much. I need to change it up, and use a word that is different but has the same meaning......Mitch, do you like submarine sandwiches? All-encompassingly!" I wish you the best of luck with your nominations. I have no problem with Josh and his posts as i think he is a cool dude. I know if i ask him something he answers or if i have something to ask Teagan he makes she she gets it. So maybe i'll send my question to you Josh to pass on to Teagan. I do miss seeing more posts from Teagan in here and she is missed. But i do understand she has her family and her work that is a fulltime job and keeps her very busy. Teagan i was wondering what is on your christmas list?

I thought you all would get a kick out of this, plus hopefully all of you can use one of these when Teagan does a signing or a feature dancing in a town near you. I saw Not The Bradys and was very impressed with how smart and funny a parody it is. Of course Teagan is sexy. That's a given. However, she exhibits great chemistry onscreen with her dialogue. Teagan is a natural in front of the camera and exhibits a grace, charm and humor that would be right at home in any comedy sitcom or movie. The camera simply loves her. I was like, wow, that's major talent right there.
I agree with exactly what you said. Teagan does extremely well in front of the camera; not just in sex scenes. People don't really consider that she has done a half a dozen video reviews, all 20 minutes + on ABR, and they are totally unscripted, and done in one take. When she did the Red Carpet for Pirates II, she did that too unscripted and knocked it out of the park. I think 2009 will be the year you see Teagan evolve into a cross between sex goddess, mainstream power house.

Yo Teagan... You ever do a scene with Jenna Haze? I heard you did one for DP and they have never used it.... Whats up with that... That would have to be a fuckin HOT scene. Thats my personal opinion though. I am sure there are people out there who would agree for sure. That would be a HOT selling scene. How can we get our hands on that scene? Or can we? What about the possibility of doing another scene in the future? I would die a happy man to see this happen...lol Joe
It's true. Not sure why it hasn't been released. Teagan would love to do another scene with her Jenna, and we would really love for her to do a review for us.
^ Yeah for two examples from just this week alone, Sasha Grey is on the Hot List in the new Rolling Stone magazine (for starring in a movie directed by Steven Soderbergh), and Ryder Skye is going to be guest-starring on Sunday's episode of Dexter on the Showtime Network (which is an awesome show, for those who haven't seen it before). I think the days of porn stars being locked out of the mainstream, while maybe not completely behind us, are certainly on their way there. If Teagan wants to try her hand at some mainstream stuff, I'm sure there will be some opportunities for her to do so.
Jenna Haze and Aurora Snow were both in Super Bad. Teagan was even on the cover of a magazine they look at in the quick shop at the beginning of the movie. Gianna Lynn was on an episode of Miami Ink. Traci Lords has done MANY mainstream projects. Kill Bill is right... Mainstream isn't out of the reach of adult stars these days. Adult movies are becoming mainstream i.e. Pirates and Pirates 2 having a rated R version made. You can actually rent those 2 porn titles at your local Blockbuster video store. Teagan was in the first Pirates movie so if you think about it she has already done mainstream. There are many other adult stars who have done mainstream (too many to list here). If anyone can crossover to mainstream and still keep one foot in the adult industry, Teagan surely can.

I'm sure the scene will come out probaly in the early part of 2009. They only had so many Teagan scenes in the hopper so they are just taking there time in releasing the scenes and that is the way it should be. As shold be with any of there former contract girls that they still have scenes with them not yet released. I would love to see Jenna do a review and hope you can work that out in the future.
Now that Teagan's only doing g/g, I would looooooooooove to see her and Belladonna do another scene together. I loved that one!! I'm skeptical as to the extent that any pornstar can cross over into the mainstream tbh, but this reviews website seems like a good venture. Teagan's best on camera when it's unscripted. Seems a lot more natural than that heinously lame scripted 'dirty talk' some directors love to make the girls say. Oh, and those Teagan bank notes are so well done. Just want to clarify... I am not guest-starring, just featured. Don't want any mis-understandings :). As far as crossing over to mainstream goes, it never hurts to try!
Look if Teagan didn't want him handling the business side she wouldn't have him do it. He handles website, press releases, films her reviews, travels with her (she refuses to go without him), and much much more. Not to mention he helps raise both of her kids. I am sure Teagan does not take offense but she would be a very busy and stressed woman without him. Not to say she couldn't do it but I know for a fact she appreciates everything he does for her. Josh is a great guy. My question to you is... Would you rather her be in a relationship with someone who beats her and doesn't help much or see her happy, putting out great scenes and doing great things. Those were her options. At least he has her best interest in mind and takes the time to help her with her career. They are a great team and have come a very long way in a very short time. Bottom line is working close with both of these people I have really gotten to know them. I am not sure what you find so annoying about him but you need to get off the hater-aid. He's a good guy, a lot better than others I've dated. He handles everything for me so that I'm not stressed out and he makes sure I get things done. He's done nothing but advance my career. Everyone thought because of my personal situation with my husband in April that I was going to be out of the business, but as you can tell I'm far from that. I've gotten more press then ever, which is the same standards as Digital Playground. Josh holds true in maintaining me in work and personal life.

I understand that the Pet of the year has to be on the cover of this issue but I'm disappointed that Teagan's name is not even mentionned. I had never heard of Taya Parker before today, not really my type. She was one of the very few 2008 pets that is not a porn star.
Obviously, we would love for Teagan to have been on the cover, and we would have loved for her name to be on the cover somewhere, but it is Penthouse's decision and the honor of Pet of the Year to be on the cover. I do think having Teagan Presley's name on the cover would obviously sell more issues, as Teagan's has an army of fans almost second to none in the adult business. BUT....the layout is fucking awesome and we are very pleased. As far as the gossip that a porn girl can't win now Pet of the Year since Taya is widely unknown except in the feature dance circuit, I don't believe that's true. I guess we will see as I do not think there will be a prettier pet than TP, and she should win in 2009. We are very pleased in all honesty.
