On the other hand, go to Austin and on I-35, and you'll find about half a dozen adult video stores that sell hardcore DVDs, hardcore magazines, etc. Lots other video shops, strip clubs, etc. in other areas of town as well. Go figure.

The larger issue I'm interested in is how DVD Empire addresses its packages. The return address always says "DVD Empire." This openly tells anyone looking at the package that DVDs are inside. To me, this just invites scrutiny from those trying to track down porn, as well as nosy neighbors who see a package left outside of your apartment.

It would seem simpler if they just used a return address like "ADE" or "DVE" so it would be harder for someone looking at the package to figure out what's inside. Others like X-Rent use this sort of system ("24-7 Internet" in their case).

For the record, I've never had a package lost coming from DVD Empire. They do good work.

I just wanted to add the biggest problem around the country is, no one wants to admit or speak out against these politicians for fear of their neighbors and friends finding out they want it and what's even more sad is those people watch it as well, how can the adult industry have more revenue then all sports combined and all the sales of coke and Pepsi as well, we are talking about billions of dollars and only a few people watch? I think not. It's like being in the porn business, everyone wants to be in it and no one wants too admit it, its pretty sad.
