I find this AVN/XBIZ award concept extremely disrespectful to all the amazing talents who poured their heart and soul into their work over the year... porn is so general - you can't please everyone and there is always gonna be something for everybody to prefer. The problem is that some girls take this stuff seriously and really end up disappointed when they see other girls winning it's ultimately bad for their ego and confidence thus for their performances and careers. they should encourage each other instead of encouraging an award/ranking system in order to do justice to everyone. which awards would you give to whom ? please note that it can be multiple people receiving the same award i would give the 2012 ADT female performer of the year award to ALL these ladies who all deserve it Jynx Maze Brooklyn Lee Asa Akira Juelz Ventura Chanel Preston Kagney Linn Karter Holly Michaels Amy Brooke London Keyes Jada Stevens PS: and Dana is always sick with it of course... They all share the same problem: How do you "measure" an artistic achievement? So that you can compare it to others? If you really think about it: extremely difficult. Whether porn is an artistic achievement or whatever, it shares the fact with that reactions to it are highly subjective and different depending on which individual preferences a viewer has. You draw the correct conclusion: that it's best to take them with a grain of salt and not to take them too seriously. Be happy if you win it, don't be too sad if you don't. [Link] |
