If so, what is the cause of this and what needs to be done for the porn industry to flourish? And if the industry fines a means of adapting to the current situations, will it be through a profitable new medium? And if so, what will it be? Do you think that the Industry can adapt to the current situations, if so, what needs to be done? If not, what should happen? [Link] |

You can sit buckets outside in the rain and catch tons of free water. You're paying for (presumably) clean drinking water that doesn't taste like shit and smell like dog breath. I buy the Pur filters that go on your sink faucet. I don't particularly like paying for water but I'm paranoid about it and the water does taste and smell better. So. Again, how do you get people to pay for porn they can download for free? That's a tougher question. Maybe someone will figure it out. One thing seems pretty certain. I think the days of making fortunes on selling movies and albums are gone and probably not coming back no matter what happens. In my humble opinion, I think that IF the biz is dying, the bottom line is that there is a fundamental lack of real creativity and innovation. Just because it's porn doesn't mean you don't have to be talented and creative to stay ahead of the curve. Too many people are still trying to milk a cow that died years ago. Competition is good for any business but the people who make porn need to understand that they're all on the same ship and they'll all be in the water together if/when it finally sinks. [Link] |

I think it DVD will be special like VHS was only a few years ago and everything will be on the net. Something I have seen change thou, the big contract girls are not as famous as they once were and it seem as if the "net" girls have more of a following and popularity. Not always but alot of the time. I wonder if girls lose money off their sites by signing the contract and not having the new stuff all over the web. If you look at someone like Lanny Barbie...she was only a few years back all over the place, you don't see anything from her anymore. But the people who keep sounding like broken records need to get the fact into their thick skulls that you can't just sue/intimidate/yell at people when they breathe that air.
