It's a well known fact that a lot of girls who work with other girls refuse to work with straight guys who have done trannies or guys. I guess to these girls "gay" only applies to two men having sex, not two girls having sex. The "disease" excuse is weak because this is porn. People get tested all the time and you can use condoms if you want too. You can catch stuff from a straight guy, a tranny or a gay guy? This is hypocrisy at its best. It's ok for girls to be bisexual but not guys? BTW I'm a straight man.

People have a lot of stupid misconceptions and prejudices about things they often are afraid of, or don't actually know anything about....

They get paid for having sex on camera, not consistent thought or logical reasoning.
It's not a question of whether it's "ok" for a man to be bi, it's not like they try to kill them, they just don't want to have sex with them. It's a purely emotional response as a result of brainwashing, i.e. bisexual men are considered "less male".
Also a man who has sex with transsexuals wouldn't usually be considered bi or gay. A bi/gay man is someone who is attracted to men, but a transsexual is not a man.

That is an interesting statement but it seems like opinions are split on this. Some think watching tranny porn is gay while others think it's just a "fetish" that straight guys might be interested in. As for whether a transexual is a man or not, that is a tough one to answer.

it's an easy answer... sexuality is not a cut and dried, either or thing... it's a fluid, changing dynamic affair...
it's the people who try to tell you differently, most likely can't deal with their own.

This seems pretty accurate.
To the OP, girls do what they think will be best for their health and their careers. Many women think that bi male performers and/or performers (of either gender) who sleep with TS are risky at best. And they definitely are not in a minority with that opinion.
Its sad really.

If I were a pornchick, gay or straight, I wouldn't work with gay male actors either.
Male homosexual activity -- particularly when anal sex is involved -- is about the riskiest sexual behavior one can engage in with regard to exposure to H.I.V.
Condoms are not failsafe.
Testing catches things after the party has become infected.
Sure, you can catch disease from males and females of any sexual preference.
BTW, be sure to ask Darren James, and the pornchicks he infected before he knew he was H.I.V. positive, about the sex-with-trannies thing.
Working pornstars don't owe the viewers anything with regard to whom they choose to perform with.
Far from "hypocrisy at its best," these are smart pornchicks making decisions about their own health and risk-averse choices. Good for them.

This is just another thread about whether or not the thread starter should be labelled Gay, Bi or whatever.
Man, you like what you like. Dont try to rationalize it. That's stupid. More than enough pervs who start watching tranny porn or do or get done by tranny's, lol. who cares.
I know I would do this lil' creature anytime ;-)

[ invalid url ] or are recruiting tricks via their web-sites/blogs /niteflight or whatever. So potential risky behavior. And cause tranny's are still men, essentially, they are more likely to behave in a more risky manner with their "hot" tricks because they're horny predators (just like us "normal" men). HIV+ contraction is thus more likely to happen.
Now that christian guy is some piece of work, uploading "STD-free" paperwork (or how do you call it?) of his co-stars on his blog. I remember that is was this girl called foxxxy where he uploaded the negative or postive test results:

You can't argue with the statistics. But are there statistics about porn stars specifically? Those might look different.
Anyway, to the point of the first post, I think it's a big shame that male and female bisexuality is treated differently. Both society and porn has a long way to go. The fact that girls are expected to do g/g, actually its practically a requirement, viewers and directors simply assume that all girls who do porn should engage in homosexual activity. That shows how porn is quite removed from reality. And then there is a completely different standard for men, which leads to the fact that male porn stars are ridiculed and get a lot less work if they have ever engaged in anything remotely bi/homosexual.
And just to clarify, for those who might want to protest, no I'm not arguing that you should be forced to watch guys fuck each other. Or girls for that matter. I'm just pointing out the blatantly obvious double standards. And men are actually the victims, yet those guys who tend to whine about how society has become feminized are not complaining about this. Strange, huh?

I don't kno, man. I mean, yes it's a double standard, but I also (prolly like so many others here) don't watch pornoscenes of my fav gurls with guys who have done gay/ or bi-boy movies now or in the past. Sometimes I stop checking the girl out all together once they have done a scene with a certain guy.
For instance, I don't watch any scenes with this christian guy, and I also don't watch any scenes with Talon (bi-brother of TT Boy, or he said "I'm gay-for-pay, yea right or peter north( former gay actor), old flicks with john holmes (he penetrated a couple of boys of 18 bare back on film) or Julian rivera or just julian(former gay porno man, now has his own series: "mrbigdickhotchicks" and former ex boyfriend/fling of stacy valentine).
Don't ask me why, I really wouldn't have an idea as to why I'm feeling that way....but then again, don't have any problems with hot looking tranny's like the one above

Shame, because that's really the core of it. If you find out, let us know.
I have no problem with male performers because of who they've fucked in the past. In fact, I don't care or know the names of most of them. I just avoid the ones who are creepy or that I for whatever reason don't like the looks or behavior of. Good male talent is rare so if I was to research and boycott them because of who they've fucked then I'd be missing out on a lot of good porn. The only additional reasons I'd boycott male talent would be if the person was a real douchebag, racist or just unbearable in any way.

I am all for performers doing whatever they have to do to stay safe. However, just because Darren James contracted HIV from a TS in brazil doesn't really mean a goddamn thing about TS performers in the US. HIV is certainly more common in TS communities than some others, this is also true for straight black men. Would anyone find it acceptable for girls to start blacklisting performers who have worked with black men? I really doubt it, people would rightly find that logic grotesque.
The stereotypes may work for some people, but when applied across the board to all TS in the industry they totally fall apart. I have had unprotected sex with a man once in my entire life, and he was AIM tested. I predominantly work with women, and if anything the STD status of other female performers in the industry generally scares me more than the TS I shoot with because I know that the female performers are banging dudes raw several times a week, whereas TS rarely shoot without condoms and generally only shoot a couple times a month.
Everyone should shoot with who turns them on and performers should feel safe about their partners. But until someone provides a shred of evidence about trans performers (in the US) having a higher HIV instance than straight performers it would be cool if people stopped repeating half truths and stereotypes.

Some of these girls work as escorts too. Even top stars like Carmella Bing, Amy Reid,Sunny Lane, Brooke Haven and many others do escort work.

There's a higher rate of black people in prisons than whites so it's perfectly reasonable to keep them out of your business to make sure they don't steal stuff. It's not like store owners owe the black community anything with regard to whom they choose to let into their stores. These are smart business owners protecting their goods against theft. Security is not failsafe and often too expensive for small businesses.

Ah yes, but escorting is only risky when it is done by a TS. Just so everyone knows, the guys that go to see TS are the same guys who see female escorts.
Just because people like sex doesn't mean they are smart. I need to stop trying to have rational discussions with straight people who are freaked out about TS. Guess what folks, we are here to stay.

^^ Furthermore, the last statistic I heard was that the group with the highest rates of HIV and STDs in general is "heterosexual" women...so I guess men and women are going to stop working with hetero women...and those who work with them...?

I don't think the statistics actually matter to the people who refuse to work with "crossover performers", because I believe that its more about clinging to a narrowly defined and outdated concept of masculinity. This is probably comforting to those people who feel uneasy about gender fuck and non-hetero sex. Culturally it is an ostrich with its head in the sand.

Your analogy is so ridiculous, I could not leave it unanswered.
#1 The "higher rate of black people in prisons" has NOTHING to do with the actual crime-rate committed by Blacks. (I really hope you aren't going to make me explain this to you.)
#2 Actually, "store owners" DO "owe the black community" SOMETHING -- as all stores and businesses "owe" the communities in which they operate something.
#3 "Smart business owners {protect} their goods against theft" -- absolutely! But, "smart business owners" don't do it with racial profiling and showing contempt for the members in the community in which they do business.
#4 "Security is not failsafe..." Well, duh? What's your point? Shop-lifting and armed-robbery are like a failed condom? Gee, I hope you don't drive or fly
A better analogy might be choosing not to drink and drive. It's not "failsafe," but it sure increases the odds in your favor.
#5 "...and often too expensive for small businesses." EVERYTHING is too expensive (more expensive) for small businesses. Again, what's your point?
Because life isn't fair, performers should fuck anybody and everybody to please those, like you, in a vocal minority?
You think you are presenting clever analogies to make a "point," and adding a racial tinge to it to get attention, whip-up the peanut gallery and throw a negative light on my opinion (as if it's tantamount to racism).
You may notice that I am also a moderator here.
I suggest you make your points without dragging racism into this discussion.
We have had so much racist crap here lately that, I'm not going to cut any slack, or take any racist shit, as part of this discussion.

I remember hearing that gay pornstars aren't held to the same standards of AIM testing as women are. So that might play a factor.

So what is your point? And yes it is ok for girls to be bisexual but not guys. This topic has been beat to death in other threads, but since its being revived, I guess this would be an appropriate time to revive the "Is double anal gay?" thread.

If I was them, I'd be more worried about the "straight" guys who aren't honest about fucking dudes. I assure you that in an environment where it's a bad thing to be bi (And especially if your income depends on it), there are a lot of bi guys who just aren't going to say anything and won't readily admit to it.
So the guys who just aren't admitting it could be fucking a thousand dudes a month behind the scenes and the girls who think they're safe because they only fuck "straight" guys could in fact be far less safe than they think they are. Just because the guy doesn't turn up in gay or tranny porn doesn't mean he isn't gay or bi.
I think a guy who's honest about it despite the fact that it will probably cost him work in straight porn is more likely to be more conscientious in other ways. If this guy is honest and says "Yeah. I'm bi. I fuck guys" the girl can ask him how many guys he fucks and he'll probably be honest about it. I'd rather know what my partners have been doing than assume they're straight because they say they are in an environment where they'll be ostracized if they aren't.
No argument.
I agree. But there will always be some people who will be a bit shifty and try and cheat the tests or who will just fuck everyone in sight behind the scenes. I don't think AIM (at present) can really protect them from that.

This reminds me of the hilarious interview with Sunny Lane's parents on Dateline or whatever, where the father says in effect "Hey she could be doing a lot worse things...she could have gone lesbian on us!"
I guess despite her parent's claim that they watch Sunny's movies, Daddy isn't aware that she does lesbian scenes, actually not only lesbian scenes, but GREAT lesbian scenes.

I agree. I never understand why fans get this superior attitude and look down on girls if they refuse to do something, whether it's IR, anal, or this. As you said, they are not contractually or morally obligated to perform whatever some fans think they should do. If a certain performer doesn't do the things you like, you simply don't watch him/her. Why bitch about it?

It's not hypocrisy at all. We all know there's a social stigma against men who have had gay sex, while there isn't one against women. That's just embedded into our culture. Why else do you think G/G sex can be categorized as both lesbo and straight, whereas M/M sex is only be categorized as gay? That's because men find it hot to see beautiful women getting it on with each other, but no one wants to see guys going it. Women generally feel the same way, both inside and outside of porn. One surefire way for a man to get a woman to lose in any interest at all in having sex with him is for him to tell her that he once had sex with another man. This is not only culturally unacceptable in straight male society, but it is also a huge turn-off to women. So, it's understandable that porn chicks wouldn't want to have sex with guys who have done gay sex either.
With a few exceptions, once I find out that a porn actor had done gay porn, I cannot watch anymore of his scenes. It has the same effect on me as hearing a white porn chick say that she will do never do black men. It's just one of those things that makes me not ever able to watch that performer again. One exception to this is Nacho Vidal. I was so disappointed when I saw that he had started doing guys and trannies. Why?!!, I thought to myself. This guy was fucking hot girls all over the place. Why the hell did he feel the need to cross over? I thought I'd never be able to watch another scene of his ever again. However, I still watch his straight titles. But again, he is just one exception. I also still watch Christian's scenes when he is with a girl I want to see. He is another exception. I just think he's a good actor. But generally speaking, in most cases, I just become unable to watch a guy perform after finding out that he has done gay porn.
Personally, I don't think men in porn should be allowed to do both straight and gay porn. They should only be able to do one or the other. Once a guy has done gay porn, he should be restricted from ever doing straight porn. And yes, trannies do count as gay porn.

Any idea why? As I said earlier, I don't get it. More than that, I don't understand it. It just seems strange. I have no problem whatsoever with it, and I'm not into guys. Actually I'm extremly picky and I think a lot of guys are really creepy. But who they have fucked just never factor into it. So any explanation would be great.
If he wants to, why not? I mean, we allow girls to do it. Why should we guys be treated differently? He probably "felt the need" because he's into it. Good for him, let him be happy and let him do it since it turns him on.
This goes to the point of my last post. Why are there different standards? Your opinion is your opinion. Obviously, there are differing opinions on this and you can't assume that everyone agrees. I am just interested in knowing why people feel like this. So if you can, please explain.

Allowed by whom? The FCC? What about women who do TS? Should they not be allowed to continue making straight movies?
And is it gay when I fuck a woman? I would argue yes, but by your logic that would make me (at least partially) hetero.

C'mon now, Mandy, maybe you're one of them smart t-girls, but a lot of your t-girl friends are not. Let's get real.
I think you're correct where you say that most of the t-girls will fuck with a rubber on camera (exception being the anabolic? t-girl series), but I think more than 95 % also work as an escort and will often fuck raw if they're horny for their tricks or if the money is right (this is more so for the non-american poorer t-girls( Latin-american/Asian). I mean there are very very few tranny's who have a normal job that will give them enough money to survive in this harsh world we live in. This is a fact. So most of them will end up doing escort for a very very long time until they're milf-T's. Besides a lot of you girls are true partyanimals who'll often go to clubs to pick-up some bi-boys or gays. Guys will be guys, and most of y'all will consequently fuck eachother raw in the heat of the moment. Don't deny it. We're all men and horniness let us do things we would normaly don't do. It's also a fact that HIV can be transferred a lot faster via homosexual (unprotected receptive/insertive) contact than via hetrosexual insertive contact.FYI, it's a well known fact that among he-she's (and gays or bi-boys) there's a higher HIV+ prevalence. Just google it. More than enough evidence and reports from official HIV monitoring groups can be read in this respect. This is probably the reason why there is almost no bare back tranny porn. The risks of contracting HIV from a (Brazilian etc.) ladyboy/katoey/Third sex girl/transvestite/t-girl is just too damn high. And everybody is aware of this. How can you otherwise explain why there hardly isn't any bareback in Tranny porn?
And then there's this:
(I've read it a lot)
QUOTE:
Its all going to come back to a she male giving hiv to someone.Thats why everyone in the straight porn industry needs to stop shooting anyone male or female that has worked in gay,bi and he she movies. Its so simple. The gay industry does not test there performers because most are hiv postive. Once you cross over and do gay sex scenes your career in straight porn should be over.

Besides, you're probably also concerned about your male co-stars who are banging females several times a week raw? So, if these guys would do a lot of hetrosexual porno movies it could be potentially be a problem. But then again, fortunately (for the hetrosexual porn market) a lot of your/your colleagues male-co-stars are homo's or bi-boys (as said, of whom everybody knows they will often, when given the chance, engage in high risky stuff in their personal lives), that don't seem to do any hetrosexual movies. That's a good thing. We don't want to see condom-use being (re-)introduced in hetrosexal porn because guys like that Christian or Talon etc. feel like working for both markets(hetrosexual gay/tranny/bi).
The risks are too high for all parties and EVRYONE knows about the earlier mentioned 95% and about the general sexual behavior of men=trannies. Besides, I don't think there are a lot of mainstream porn girls who do a lot of tranny movies, thats a very very small group you're talking about....
The only GG(Genetic girl)-girls (at least that I know of) that are also doing lots of mainstream hetrosexual flicks/scenes are Monica Mattos and belladonna.
Janine lindemulder did it once with vaniity. That's it.

That's the same thing I said earlier but in other words.
Nacho is a cool dude and will alwas be a cool dude to watch, in my book BUT I've never seen him bang homo's up the buttocks or fuck or getting fucked by tranny's/homo's, bi-boys: did I miss something here?
I've seen a movie of his own productionlabel of the his succesfull series "house of shemales" (it was a scene of him and Belladonna and him with a he-she). The dude gets aroused pretty bad by watching that tranny cock, even jerked the tranny cock off, but I've never seen him bang or get banged by a tranny or a gay/bi's... I'm sure he does it once the camera's are off but on camera, that's new to me.

You seem to have much more experience with trans women in the US porn world than I do. In my experience, my TS co workers are not all escorts (girls like Jesse Flo and Tara Emory) and some of the females I've worked with do. What's more, I was castrated at a young age so I don't really understand your "we're all male..." reasoning. Physically, my body produces less testosterone than the average female so I don't really know from experience what you are talking about.
I know many trans people who are in no way involved in the sex industry, some of whom are highly successful in their respective fields.
HIV rates of transmission are higher for unprotected anal than vaginal sex. This is true. But it doesn't matter if its man on man, man on woman, TS on woman etc...anyone who is having unprotected anal is increasing their risk of transmission.
I do not dispute that Trans people have higher rates of HIV transmission than non-trans people, but this in and of itself in no way justifies an industry wide segregation. Just because the rates of HIV transmission in African American populations is 7X that of Caucasians doesn't justify segregation. Higher HIV rates bear a direct correlation to lack of access to health care (IE regular testing), safe sex education, clean needles and institutionalized poverty. Trans performers (at least in the US) generally have access to regular testing and safe sex education.
I would argue that the use of condoms in tranny porn is a combination of two things.
1 the producers are covering their asses.
2. Because of high HIV incidences in GAY and trans communities TS are much more aware of the need to have safe sex and a quick paycheck isn't gonna sway that. Because of this, even if a producer wanted to, they would have a hard time requiring models to work raw.

I guess you don't know what the word hypocrisy means?
This post is hilarious on several levels.
First off, as has been discussed here before I and others here know a number of straight women who actually ENJOY gay male porn more than straight porn, so that shoots your theory to shit right there.
When you say 'no one' wants to see guys doing it, I guess that also includes gay and bisexual men? Seriously, that has to be one of the most boneheaded things I've ever read on this forum.
Also, considering that you're always the one on here demanding that porn should be 'pushing of the envelope' your sudden drawing of limits and lines in the sand when it comes to bisexual male performers is ironic and yes, hypocritical. No one is saying you have to watch male-on-male action, shemales, etc but why are you so judgmental and prejudiced all of a sudden? One man's poison is another man's wine.
I'd also point out that under your criteria, you'd be incapable of watching practically any of the male performers from the 'classic' period as a number of them were bisexual. If it wasn't for HIV and that most porn is shot in the cultural wasteland of LA I'm sure there would be the same level of 'crossover' in today's porn. From what I've heard, even today there are a lot of more performers who are bisexual in their private lives than you would ever know.
BTW realtip how is your opinion of John Stagliano, who you are apparently a fan of based on the thread on his case, affected by the knowledge that he has had sex with trannies? Or Tom Byron? Or Ron Jeremy?

You know i never understood that until someone broke it down to me that its like men watching lesbian porn. Its hot for us to watch two women having sex, why wouldn't it be that way for women in the reverse. Consider my mind = blown at that point.

JohnW,
For the most part, I can't watch guys do straight porn who have done gay porn because it changes the way I view the guy. It's just like how I can't watch certain girls because I might have seen them do something in another scene that completely turned me off and, as a result, I am put off from watching them again. It's the same for the switch-hitting guys in porn. Once I find out that the guy has fucked another guy, it will usually completely ruin my viewing experience if I see him in another scene. This is why I think there should be a separation of guys who have done gay porn from ever working in straight porn as a performer. As for Nacho, I was a huge fan before he started crossing over, and he still works with hot girls I like to see. So in his case, I just try not to think about his 'other side' when watching his scenes. As for whether or not Nacho actually performs gay sex in his movies, I don't know, since I don't watch them. But the fact that he makes them is close enough. The same for Rocco. He's another one who, for some strange reason, has put trannies in some of his movies.
BlackSix,
There's a difference between hypocrisy and a double standard. Holding women to a different standard than men qualifies as the latter, not the former, and this happens in many others areas besides sex. For example, it is perfectly OK for women to openly express affection toward other women, such as by kissing on the cheek, holding hands, dancing together, etc. It is not considered socially acceptable for men to do these things, as they are not considered masculine. It stands to reason, therefore, that the same attitudes apply to sex.
As I previously expressed to GGG, it should also be clear that I was speaking in general terms. Are there straight women who enjoy watching gay male sex? Yes. Do these women account for a minuscule minority among the general number of straight women? It's safe to say that the answer is probably Yes. If someone comes out and says that "nobody" finds obese bald elderly women sexy, common sense should tell us that he is speaking in general terms, and not literally, as there will always probably be some people out there who do find it sexy. But that still doesn't change the overall point that mostly everybody else does not. When I wrote that "no one wants to see guys going it," I was obviously talking about straight men.
Also, how is it hypocrital to suggest that straight porn could try to be more edgier and extreme just because I don't watch gay porn? That makes no sense. You're right that I don't have to watch gay porn, which is why I don't. But you haven't ever heard me say that gay porn shouldn't be produced just because I don't watch it, which is what many people here say about porn that they don't like. I also haven't said that guys who do gay porn shouldn't be allowed to work in porn, just that they shouldn't be allowed to work as performers in straight porn. With as many straight guys who would love to be able to work in porn, I don't understand why guys who have done gay porn need to be hired anyway. Give some of those other straight guys who refuse to do gay porn a chance. IMO, I think that would go over much better with straight male viewers as well.
Furthermore, I either wasn't around, or wasn't watching porn back during the "classic" porn period. So perhaps you're right that I wouldn't have enjoyed watching it back then. Actually, I barely ever watch "classic" porn now, since what I've seen of of it doesn't do anything for me. Too much pubic hair on the women, crappy music, and a severe lack of needed boobjobs. Indeed, I am a product of my generation. But atleast the sex seemed more real back then.
As for the pornographers you mentioned, I don't think I've ever seen John Stagliano in the role of a performer and, to be quite honest, I don't want to. But I think he's an absolutely splendid director and pornographer, which is why I enjoy EA movies and support his product. I wasn't aware that Tom Byron had ever done gay porn, so that's news to me. If you don't know about something, then how can you have an opinion on it? As you said, there are probably plenty of guys in porn who have done the gay thing either in secret, or so long ago that many people nowadays either don't know, or have forgotten about it. But like anything else, it only comes into play if people know about it. There's a good reason that male porn actors seem to get defensive when the subject of them doing gay porn comes up, whether or not they've actually done it. They also use different stage names when they cross over, and seemingly try to do it very secretively on the "down low" so that people in the straight porn world won't easily find out about it. As for Ron Jeremy, I don't care if he's done gay porn. I just never liked watching that guy to begin with.

Speaking in broad generalities is lazy thinking and use of language.
As to how many straight women like watching gay male sex, hard to know, since relatively few women watch porn of any kind to begin with, and even fewer would be exposed to gay porn, and even those who do find it exciting would be unlikely to admit it publicly if they did.
At least, that is more true of older women imo, I find younger women (around mid-30s and younger) much more willing to openly discuss sexual topics and those are the women who I know personally who do like watching gay porn. In fact, now that I think of it, those are the only women I know who have ever admitted to watching porn of any kind.

Honestly I'm not so far deep into porn that I do background check of the men who fuck the stars. Cock in, cock out, creampie. I don't ask for references. If I knew the guy had his dick in an all-male review gangbang immediately before he stuck his dick into a beautiful young female who agreed to get creamed as well, I wouldn't give two shits.

I already knew the answer, but couldn't bring it under words.
English isn't my first nor second language. But this sentence of "Realtip"sort of reflect my thought also.
But let me finish his sentence:
Most of us (hetrosexual viewers) sort of like to identify ourselves with that guy who is doing that beautiful sexy girl on screen, but how can you identify yourself with a guy who also fucks gays/bi's, that is if you have no interest in doing any of that stuff in your personal life yourself?
Of course, we all don't watch porno for the male performers, bla bla bla, but truth of the matter is that we always sort of hope that we can relate to the male performer, be it appearence wise or characterwise. I think guys always like to visualize that it is them doing the girl in the scene, at least that's how I watch porn and I think everyone else 2.
BTW, this is not only my stance in regards to the sexual orientation of the male performers but also goes for, as said, the character and looks of the dude. I don't like to see skinny ass dudes with my favourite performers and no fugly guys (Ron Jermey being an exception he's a cool cat, imo).
For example, I use to have 2 memberships, 1 for Brazzers, the other for bangbros.com. There is this option where you not only can click on the female names but also on the guys names.I not only cliked on the names of the female "stars" but also often clicked on the names of guys who either have the same aggressive sex style as I have, or are into fitness and have a matching body and thus look a bit like me when I look in the mirror. Other stuff I just skipped. And this is the same with sissy looking porno twinks, who do gay/bi movies on or off camera. But as said, I dont have any problems with masculine looking guys who do trannies who look like they could be pageant queens in the countries where they come from. I mean, those of you who have traveled to Brazil(Rio/Sao paulo, Colombia or other LAtin American countries and/or to Pattaya( thailand) or angeles city(Philipines), know what I'm talking about).
I hope I'm clear with my answer.

This is only true post-HIV, which I think is the main rationalization for the division between straight and gay performers these days, although the general loss of countercultural energy in porn when it moved to LA and became a 'legit' industry also plays a part, imo. I think porn is a lot more socially reactionary these days than it was in the past, although things are getting better.
For example, George Payne and Jack Wrangler were just as well known, if not better known, as gay performers and they never hid that fact during their careers. Similarly, during interviews Marc Stevens was very open about his bisexuality and Jamie Gillis never apologized for a single thing he ever did.
FYI: Gillis, Jeremy and Byron all had sex with trannies (mostly bjs I believe). Of course, Peter North also did some gay porn early on in his career.
If you've never seen Stagliano as a performer that means you've never seen his early classic films then, where he was a regular and solid performer.

We know that different people find different sexual practices more or less acceptable for them. We have to accept it. The only important thing is that the participants feel comfortable with what they are doing.
It is not up to the people sitting comfortable behind the screen to decide which risk a performer should take.
I've never heard that a girl catch HIV from girl/girl sex. The most dangerous sex partner for a girl is an bisexual man.
Best regards
