I was common to have non-anal performers in an all anal movie where the box cover made it appear that she was doing anal but ultimately was the only one who didn't.
It was also quite common for marketing blurb on the box cover saying "all anal" or "anal in all the scenes" or words to that effect but where there is at least one FFM scene in the movie, only one of the women takes it in the butt in that scene.
They discussed Only Fans on the local NPR show Air Talk they have a podcast link podcast link. Two things. I am not sure how long the podcast is available. The other, the Only Fans segment is only about 15 minutes midway in the second hour. They talked to Arabelle Raphael. She left mainstream porn about 7 years ago. She said she makes a living with the platform. One caller said his wife/girlfriend makes about $15,000 a month. He said her name (guessing at the spelling) is "Gazam Dozier." He said business picked up during the pandemic.
Studios might have to look into selling scenes seperate as a new option next to a subscription. For example when a monthly subscription is $20. Sell seperate scenes for $ 15-20 a piece. I don't think a lot of sites have these options currently, but I think people would love to use it when one of their favorites is on the particulair site. Maybe they can generate more cash this way?
Many on only fans came from you tube or reality show stardom. So I was saying they won't run to a porn studio (the YouTubers) bc they have controlled their content for years on youtube & now o.f. Maybe you are only aware of porn stars on o.f. I am more aware of YouTube and reality stars on o.f. Hope that makes more sense?
Makes me wonder how accurate the numbers are. I agree w you. It has a smell of pyramid scheme all over it. Jenna shay is always posting what she makes and her bank account. I find it weird they all make 50k a month. At least you heard, finally, somebody making 15 not 50k.
Are you suggesting OF instructs its performers to make such claims? Selling a dream of making thousands of dollars a week working from home a few hours a day? I hadn't thought of that.
It all seems very strange. I mean you never hear performers publicly bragging about how much money they make in other areas.
Trisha Paytas, (youtube star outs celebs she dates) Aaron Carter former child star, Chad Johnson from various reality shows, Jenna Shea just to name a few all show you their computer screen while on insta live and coincidently all make 50k a month.....It is true or really odd. Alexis Texas has not done this and I think she makes the most bc I generally know Saudi's type. Super young or super famous and blond. And when she does her lives it's all men typing in arabic. Jenna Shea has no guys or almost zero in arabic. I don't know why they won't give detailed descriptions or previews. I presume a few do.
I enjoyed his analysis of how only fans is the future. This is from a YouTube influencer but not one of the others I've mentioned that have millions of hits on YouTube (and other times under 300,000).
He mentions more youtubers going there due to the stricter rules on YouTube. You get demonetized for simple language. In a news story you can't say r*pe.
Know he changes several sex work words around. Even nude he changed to noodle. He says YouTube is making only fans more popular. Really bright guy. Don't just turn off due to his looks. Hope this is clickable. I recall years ago when here I had to do a back flip 😇 https://youtu.be/Czz14rSOKZo

The various accusations flying around about Troy Francisco and partner Lena Paul from some who have worked with the suggests to me that Onlyfans is far from immune to all the issues that affect performers in studios. In some circumstances it could be a lot more dangerous for performers.
The times are certainly changing though, and even if the OF bubble bursts, I think performers are taking more and more control over the industry. I can't see the genie ever entirely being put back into the bottle.
^OF is a platform where people can upload their pics/videos so even if some performers complain about what happened to them during a shoot that gets uploaded to an OF account means very little to OF because they didn't fund the shoot, they don't have any direct connection to the accused other than they allow them to use their platform to upload their content. Now if the content breaks one of OF rules then they will get involved but otherwise what do you think they could do?
Let's hope that the OF bubble doesn't burst anytime soon because most performers need the money they make from their OF account to pay bills. The porn industry isn't there to support them because they aren't shooting a lot of content right now and aren't likely to do so anytime soon if the US keeps dealing with Covid the way they are right now.
^ Good point pat. As much as I hope that the pandemic issue gets resolved soon (there does appear to be some promising leads on a vaccine) and that studios fire up production again, you're right that OF and sites like it have let women in the business continue to earn a living. Maybe without OF they'd leave and not come back.
Maybe - and obviously I'm just speculating here - maybe porn and OF can have a similar symbiotic relationship to what porn and strip clubs have. I've read that women who have a porn presence can earn substantially more as a feature dancer at a club than a 'regular' dancer. That compels some women to use porn as a kind of advertisement that they have when they feature dance. Maybe women can use porn to get themselves known and shoot some scenes to drive business to their OF site. That would mean there are some studio scenes though the women could still monetize their work at OF.
The bottom line for me is that I hope that studio sites bounce back after the pandemic.
Pornstars still have to use mainstream porn to build a following before they can drag them over to OF. With no mainstream porn that they can use and then turn their backs on, they wouldn't be having these followers/simps to pay them for 10 second vertical phone clips.

Very true, but in the short term it gives established performers a certain amount of extra power as they stand out in a crowded marketplace on OF, as well as being the most popular performers on the sites of various studios. These performers have built up a fanbase, and have a simp army ready to waste their (or their mums) hard earned on these clips.
What I'm hoping is that this forces the studios to clean up their acts in terms of working conditions, performer safety and quality of content overall.
No idea who that was addressed to. The link explained why tons of YouTube influencers are doing sex work on o.f. It breaks down another door. Some of these people you can request what you want. He feels YouTube's restrictions are pushing the influencers there to o.f. If you only know porn stars you may not care. It's a big deal to the millions that watch their YouTube content.
Even if those conditions were supposedly ideal it wouldn't stop the performers from taking advantage of OF. The simps are out there. Cash grabs are tempting, so I can't really blame the performers(the ones who aren't running a scam on there) I can blame the ones enabling them though.

They could build an even bigger following first just by teasing on youtube. Then it wouldn't be "girl you've already seen gangbanged and TAPed decides to sell nudie pics on OF" it would be "girl you've been seeing teasing lingerie tryons/asmr dirty talk/twerking on youtube for months on end goes dirtier (gstring? nude? toy?/gg?/bg?) on OF/manyvids/iwantclips/whatever. With much better results.
^becoming a big name youtube star is far more difficult than becoming a pornstar. It's also a lot more time consuming and difficult than one thinks, both in the work that it requires and having the luck to pick the right market. Most girls going into porn want a quick buck. You can see this mindset even in their Onlyfans pages since they're lazy by recording short, crappy phone clips during sex, they don't even bother flipping the phone around so it's atleast a wide screen shot.
So yeah, I don't see these chicks starting at youtube channels getting all the right equipment, putting all that time and energy on recording it right, editing videos for hours. All of this daily and likely never becoming a known youtuber. There's tons and tons of hot girls on youtube who never go beyond a couple K subscribers.
No, mainstream porn will always be the way the go. They'll still need it.
^ It seemed rather simple to understand to me... The context, as explained in the preceding paragraph, was that using certain words supposedly gets content creators demonetized on Youtube, so the guy in question apparently changed "nude" to "noodle" while talking about sex work in that particular video, I guess to demonstrate how silly it can get.

I am starting to think OF is litteraly killing the adult industry and we are to blame for it (everybody who partook).
Yes the lockdown didn't help, the pipeline of pro porn was dry and on the other side the OF creators obviously didn't had to follow the lockdown, they could record alone or with their partners. So maybe the circonstances were highly in favor of an hostile takeover from OF but not just that...
As a creator the platform is highly advantageous for creators, even with the cut OF take. Money goes directly in the pockets of the pornstars/creators. That said tough, i noticed a lot of OF content is not pro filmed. First of all even if they hire a small crew for lightning and camera work, often the camera use is either a cellphone or some mid level camera, its often not up to standard with what you would see on pro sites. But often its just a camera on a tripod, a cell in POV, and it look amateur even if decently filmed. In the era of 4K i find it hard i dunno, i think its a regression...
So for us the customers, i feel the only advantage OF has is that it has opened the industry to girls that may had never done it before that. Would had never shot for pro sites for various reasons. But otherwise the disadvantages are just legions..
- No preview/trailers - Subscription model + pay per scene is often used (at least Manyvids let you see what you wanna buy for free) - Said PPV are often to ludacriss prices (30$ or more the scene, basically the price of a monthly sub, some girls even charging that for 2mins of vids or 3 photos !) - Platform is a mess. I seen ONE OF girls organize her OF and put link to the scenes in a pinned post, that was cool, but often they don't bother, if your connection is not extremely fast it can take so long to load all the content and navigating it is so a pain - Videos often have to load, you get buffering etc. My conection is average, but i stream movies in HD on Xbox, i game without issues, why OF has buffering? - No download, only way to be able to save is a record desktop app... annoying. - Everybody want their share of it, so if you like 5/6 pornstars, even if they charge 10$ for the wall stuff it rack up fast, and thats not counting PPV. Remember the 2000s where pornstars had their personal sites but signing up gave you acces to a network of multiple girls?
I could go on and on.
Yesterday i noticed Nikky Benz post something on Twitter that was going on OF with Tasha Reign, those are 2 pornstars i liked a lot but had not seen in ages and taught they were retired... So i told her it would be cool to see them come back to regular porn, wich she said to just go on OF to see her. I told her how im not fond of the platform, i stayed polite and everything, but she just answer "your wrong" or something like that and blocked me... :\ Felt very rude and disapointing.
The pro industry had became stale and complaisant even before the lockdown, think i mentioned it before, a few companies still put quality content but companies like Brazzers put clones of their scenes all the time, same pornstars, same set up, same male talent, they managed to make the $ because of the number, their number vs price was a good value ultimately (30$ or so for a month, acces to tons of backlog content and new scenes almost daily)
But as a consumer i miss the 2000s, where there was more variety, i miss the days of those lines like "No cum dodging allowed" or such.
But the reality is the more it goes, the more you will see production companies disapear or continue to put stale content, and OF will likely take over as some customers are willing to pay those outrageous prices. We are only to blame ourselves ultimately.
Personally i wish i could still see girls like Courtney Taylor, Tasha Reign or Alexis Amore in pro scenes on good websites. Sadly it seem OF is the only way to see them.

I think sometimes people blame everything but the industry itself. First it is the one click hoster, then tube sites and now of. But I think the adult industry is so boring and monotonous as it hasn't been for a long time. One guy sits on his scenes for years and shoots with eye candy dicks that are not capable of watchable sex. Other networks only produce fast food and trash porn. Another hides behind pseudo art and publishes the same scene every week, with the same skinny girls and the same 1-2 guys. If anything is a threat to the industry, it is its own lack of motivation.....IMO.
My personal tastes and proclivities aside, what you mention here is a well and true problem. With OFs content seeing an increase in price (per scene, per minute, however you'd like to define that definitive increase) there is literally no justification for such production practices. Charge us appropriately, yes, make it worth your (the performers) time, however; make it worth it to us, the consumers, wallets in terms of production values. It should at the least meet (arguably exceed with increased pricing) the near industry standards currently. I don't think that's a level of expectation that we should be castigated for, not in the least. It's a two way street, after all. Personally, I'm a studio/production company person - the amount of content available and the production quality levels being the deciding factor, for me.
You know what's 'killing' the porn industry? shady producers, shady agents, shady models, producers working with tube sites giving them 6-10 minute trailers, scenes that go on for more than 12 minutes, Hollywood trailers are 2-3minutes for a 2hr story line plot movie. A typical gonzo release is 4 scenes averaging 40 minutes each for a total run time of 2+ hours. Deep throat movie is 63 minutes, pretty peaches is 92 minutes. Sorry dude, with so much content everywhere (mainstream & adult), no way can i watch non stop sex for 2-3 hours. How about those DVDs that cost $34.99 out the gate, that's Criterion Blu-ray territory but it's a gonzo release with no extras, fans who buy Hollywood DVDs always complain about extras, behind the scenes, making of, cast bios, interviews etc.
OF is popular because of the exclusivity, you can't find OF on tubes uploaded by content creators. Some girls on OF talk to their fans, might even take customs. Many girls on OF aren't anywhere else. Price ranges $2.99-$30 with $5 being the sweet spot.
With that being said, regular porn isn't going anywhere. /rant

Bullshit, the industry ever since video has been predicated on mechanical, predictable and repetitive sex scenes. And it made money hand over fist during the VHS and early DVD eras. The bright spots are always the exception.
That has nothing to do with the decline of the industry.
^What he said. I mean come. 20 years ago you had just about every studio releasing movies on VHS and DVD on a weekly basis with some releasing multiple titles. Their production cost were significantly higher back then because of the medium they had to use and yet they were all making a huge profit. The only thing that really changed over the next decade was that VHS was completely replaced by DVD and the internet became a new way for porn producers to offer their product but studios were still making a decent profit. What has happened in the last decade that is completely different is that the vast majority of porn producers see large portion of their profits go down the shit hole of tube and torrent sites to the point where if you Google any performers name or a sexual fetish then just about every hit will be a tube or torrent site.
I may not like OF's business model but I thank them for being there for all the performers who need the income it generates for them and if we lose some new or established model to it but get to retain others than that is still a great thing for the porn industry as a whole.
One thing I'm taking away from this thread is that OF doesn't exist in a vacuum, there's reasons for it's existence, and that in many ways, we can trace a lot of them to the tube/streaming sites hewing away at the business model that had existed for so long. Think about the "features" era - big budgets, wardrobes, shot on real film, etc. A bygone era now, decimated by the effects of said tube sites fucking up the dollars and cents. I've talked to a number of performers during various cam shows and the ones who had the opportunity to experience that era pine for those sorts of projects but also realize it's not likely to come back. I'm kinda curious as to why they've been allowed to exist in anyhow (streaming sites) - that whole "not hold them accountable for what users upload" is just a nod and w wink/skirting the intention of the law. Bit out of left field but tangentially related enough to have brought it here I think.

^ Basically I think it is because there was no incentive for the FBI or government to crack down on the Tubesites as they hated the porn industry anyway.
Or even if they were neutral there was no political pressure on them to defend the industry since so few people will publically defend porn and in the states a politician being seen to serve or protect the industry would get attacked from the right and the left. It is a no win situation for them.
The hypocritical low esteem even 'fans' hold porn performers and producers in is also a convenient excuse for those who want to watch and jerk off to porn but never pay for it.
Exactly, the very intelligent man's points were furthered by your confusion of words he is forced to use or that YouTube video is demonitized (not paid) hence all of them running to o.f. However, I do agree w others it takes time to become semi known on YouTube. Managers I know of mainstream Hollywood actors said if you have one million followers (assuming real & not bought)10% will spend $ on you. So I didn't look but that guy may only have 100,000 followers meaning around 10,000 will go to his o.f.
I'm very sorry that girl blocked you on twitter. You should have a right to state suggestions. But maybe this reactionary behavior comes from being dominated by male producers, camera men & talent so now she is totally in control. You will see the real them: Kind or really agitated. As for porn stars I don't think they are making o.f. for this discerning group on advdt. I think the known ones really only need one Saudi to tip huge ) sadly he will now have to do it 2000 or 3k times due to Bella). I also think it is important that people keep expressing you want better cameras. If it's true what they make per month (50k) why not buy two cameras worth 4k each? Earlier here or Bella thread couple of us wondered if this is like a pyramid scheme hence all of them showing us what they made on their pc screen. Aaron Carter first real semi star doing real porn came out last nite & said if you sign up & use my name I make $. This may have been for cam soda which i believe is similar ? But he (child star) still has o.f.
I guess I am completely out of the loop. Porn stars on Youtube? What are they doing? Talking about stuff, just dancing around, or something like that? I enjoy Holly Randell's podcast if there is a girl on there I like. I might have it on in the background while playing around.
What else is going on on Youtube? Obviously not porn. Someone please enlighten me. How about some links to something worthwhile?
All I know is I sure am getting tired of this OF stuff. I was willing to accept it for awhile, I understand the pandemic and all--they gotta make money somehow--but fuck this shit is getting old!!! Somebody give me some real fucking porn again!!!
^While it's true that some present and past performers have You Tube channels. I don't know that I would say that it's rampant and if press I couldn't name you more than a couple. Not to mention that I don't even know if the couple I can name are still updating their channels. I suspect that most of the ones with channel see it more as another way to make money and not as anything else.
What we are referring to are a group that were a bit Disney like and never did porn only youtube. You follow them around. You see them on first dates. You see them breaking down saying I'm addicted to this _____(insert best click bait word for that month). Trisha Paytas has dated a lot of celebs and discusses. YouTube promoted this crowd a lot. They have endorsements. Some now own huge multi million dollar make up companies. Then all of a sudden YouTube changed rules and gave all of them a list of words they cannot say and some are common. These YouTube influencers are pretty huge & make more $ then many celebs. Some average 16 million views per video. That is power. Now they are turning to o.f. So if o.f. dies I don't think the people that have controlled their own content this whole time will run to male owned porn studios. Some of the YouTube influencers are more textbook* "anti social" then any porn star we met. I hope this now makes sense.

'Furthered by your confusion of words.'
Your grammer and snyntax is so atrocious it is like you're trying to communicate via Google translate. If you aren't a native speaker it's one thing otherwise as Samuel Jackson says: 'English motherfucker, do you speak it?'
May I know what words are confusing ? If I used newer words like, " YouTube influencer," and you still felt it was confusing these new words are on mainstream tv. I'm kind and trying to be articulate for you. Born and raised in Tx & NYC. Many of my friends are ivy league grads. They understand me. Instead of being very mean to a female just kindly let me know what words are new for you? Urban dictionary dot com is also helpful.
I have always thought that it less a question of the FBI as a whole being indifferent to what's happening to the porn industry and more of a question of the people in the Government (primarily Republicans) putting pressure on the organisation by playing the anti-porn card because to do otherwise would create cracks in their fake pro-religion image. The most obvious example of a double standard is that the FBI supports the mainstream entertainment industry because they are losing money from content thieves by going after those content thieves but won't do the same for the porn industry.
The truly weird thing is that it's in the interest of the Country for the FBI to do everything in it's power to support the porn industry because porn is a multi-billion dollar industry that generates millions of dollars in tax revenue each year and if the industry suffers then so does the Government because those tax revenues get smaller.

If you pirate your competition's content until you're the only one left with unpirated content, did the bear shit in the woods?
It's not a double standard when it's not comparable, the big porn producing mafias are "content thieves" themselves.
^Not sure what you are trying to say because nothing you wrote has anything to do with the double standard the Government and FBI have toward the porn industry. I mean if the FBI applied themselves to stopping content thieves in the porn industry then companies like MindGeek and WGCZ which is owned by the same people as Legal Porno would likely stop doing what they do because to do otherwise would likely mean arrest and jail time.

^ Exactly, piracy was always an issue even during the film and cinema days of the 70s but tech enabled these pirates to shut down and buy out their competition only because there was no interest at the political or law level to actually enforce the law on these companies.
I think this will the era remembered best for niche type porn. I.e - Dick Drainers, Facial Abuse (If your into it), Legal Porno etc.
People will always pay for their porn if it will satisfy their niche.
Mainstream porn studios will be ok if they contract ie. Brazzers and now Bangbros (w/ Kira Perez)
Also we have to also be grateful for the positive of what OnlyFans is doing. Right now their are more out of the closet hoes than ever before. With the acceptance of society and platforms like ig and of. Girls that otherwise wouldn't find themselves on Brazzers or Bangbros are doing porn through OF

I'd think an airborne pandemic ruining an industry these nonporn "ladies" relied on also played a part in pushing them towards porn.
A perfect storm lets say. Theirs also the promoting of what reminds me of an MLM scheme that is promising hundred of thousands of dollars per month. I don't believe for a second that anyone besides maybe the 5% of OF top earners are making a "killing" but who am I to say without any facts behind it.
Its also much easier to grab your own gear and shoot amateur porn then it is to go and do a shoot which involves traveling etc.
Amateur porn has been around for a LONG time and was mainly distributed on free tube sites. Now these girls are getting paid.
