If Cindy Crawford is your heat meter, I see why you are so disappointed. Dogfart need much better camera work. For as along as they have been around, the production value appears to be amateur, they should be leading the way with camera angled and fluidity. I also feel like there is too much talking in Dogfart scene. These guys and girls are not actors and when you allow them to improv, it just reduced the overall quality of the scene. Set your premise, get undressed and fuck. That should be the recipe. I don't think a scene should last more than 30 minutes and people should be fucking in the first 5.
Well, it was all guessing on my part. I haven't been keeping up with her career that much until the last few months. From what I see and can tell she was always into IR, so other than my guess it had to do with BLM I have no idea why she had it removed from her card. Maybe you're right and she wanted to expand her career and maybe felt she was doing too much IR or was too closely identified with IR. I always felt that even though Joslyn was well known in the mainstream at one point, she never became as big pornstar as one would think she would. Alien is a great analogy. Courtney Coxx became unrecognizable trying to chase beauty, she has since had all her injections dissolved. Rather than say Alien, I think I would say unnatural and personally, I would not want to sleep with anyone that doesn't look natural. I think that is the same turn off many experience with Trans talent, if it doesn't look natural, it makes then uncomfortable. That is also why top trans talent, at least in my opinion is popular, it's because at first glance, or even at an extended gaze, they look female.
I've seen screenshots of scenes where the trans talent looks more feminine than the actual females in the scene.
It's not as simple as trying to "chase beauty". Many Hollywood actresses and pornstars find themselves in a position where they have to compete with younger talent or have to reinvent themselves to stay in the game. Pornstars have it especially tough. They have to compete with the steady stream younger/newer girls coming in that may not even be better looking or better performers but may simply get lots of attention because they're a fresh face. Then they have to compete against the steady stream of girls who just are willing to do more extreme stuff to get noticed. Meanwhile, for the typical porn girl there's only so much you can do to stay near the top in the porn game because for most girls no matter how good you are or good looking you are after awhile many fans will get bored with you and move on unless they do something to keep fan attention. And that will mostly come down to getting more nasty/extreme or changing their looks. Doing either one may cost them some fans but it will bring them to the attention of new fans. Every time a girl changes her looks some fans will immediately chime in with comments of "She ruined her looks" or "She didn't need to change her (whatever)" or whatever negative comments they choose to make. But most of the people making those comments more than likely stopped paying attention to that girl long ago anyway. They'd grown bored with her having seen her multiple times doing essentially the same thing over and over and had moved on long ago. Now they're outraged/sadden and proclaim they now have no interest in no longer watch a girl they had stopped watching long ago anyway. Very few girls with long careers in porn have managed to stay popular (or even stay in the business) without making physical changes or transitioning into more hardcore acts (or both). They have to keep the old fans interested or expand to include different/new fanbases.
The same could also apply to studio sites. I see a lot of complaining about sites not being as good as they used to be. In most cases the sites are just fine..it's the fans who are the problem. The sites are in a no-win situation. Keep doing the same thing...even if people like it and at some point your going to bore your audience. Change stuff around and you're gonna piss off the ones who just want more and more of the same. What many fans don't seem to grasp is that the studio isn't making content specifically tailor-made for them and at some point they aren't going to like part or most of the site's output. The site isn't suddenly putting out "bad" or lesser quality stuff...it's just stuff you have little or no interest in. Instead of hanging around and constantly complaining, it's time to move on.
Do they have a new director over there? There's a serious bias against barefoot women happening. I understand that some people like stockings, socks, sneakers etc. They should absolutely have scenes that cater to them. But most of the time they should be fully nude. Nearly every single scene on Blacked and Blacked Raw has the women completely naked at some point. I think it's one of the reasons those sites are eating Dogfart's lunch.
Last time I was a member, I posted comments that were constructive criticism. There was absolutely nothing even mildly inflammatory. The comments were removed. That was the last straw for me. I'm going back to download a few scenes that I've lost and then canceling forever. They show zero respect to their members. For me, that's a deal breaker.

I can tell you 100%, most changes that talent makes is not for me. Too many end up with that Bride of Frankenstein look, because they go one procedure too far. My current obsession is Europe's Lady Gang. Why jerking a major league size nut out of my sack earlier, I realized that Ms. Gang reminded my of a previous obsession, Aletta Ocean, that is before her last major transformation.
Talent makes these choices for themselves, unfortunately, they quite often tend not to be the right choice.
No they have not released the ts scenes as far as I know. I saw those scenes under the girls and figured they would come out soon and I had a year long subscription from 2019-2020 and they never came. It was annoying I dont get the hold up.
^ Seems like they're putting what they're able to shoot. If you remember a couple months back (feels like longer tbh) is when we had the rush of different gangbangs (5-7 on 1) added as upcoming scenes but since then they've only added one more. We're still waiting on the return of both IRBlowbang and Cumbang. So Gloryhole may just be the easiest thing to shoot at the moment with whatever the current restrictions are? I don't know that for fact, just my own speculation.
Hopefully we'll see blowbangs, and more scene variety, showing back up very soon.

Talk to three different people, you get three different requests. Personally, the Gloryhole scenes and blow bang scenes do nothing for me. I like plain old interracial sex. Only Dogfart knows what sells, but I would assume they put out what sells.
From your point of view. From theirs, it could be absolutely the right choice. I feel quite lucky that these changes and alterations don't affect my enjoyment of their scenes. The changes don't even need to be as drastic, India Summer got slammed in her thread for changing her hair colour!
And to each their own. Everyone should enjoy what they enjoy. I was referring to the current climate of things with covid and all, that could be a contributing factor to why you're getting more gloryhole scenes and why we're not getting any blowbangs. Correct me if I am wrong, and I may be, but since shooting has started back up/continued, there hasn't been any shortage of just interracial sex? So they're putting out what they're able. Not everyone will like each and every scene obviously.
I feel the opposite way. The whole "both parties get completely naked" push has made lots of porn scenes interchangeable. For lots of these women when all the clothes come off and there's no story in the scene it's almost like a repeat. Many of them even look better with clothes and outfits on. If this is driven by loving feet though, I understand. It's not something that does anything for me.

You get no complaint from me. Everybody likes something and the fact that porn gets made that I don't care for confirm either than someone likes it or producer are desperate to find something that might catch on. I have no idea how DogFart plans their shooting or release schedule. I like the IR sex scenes the best.
Whether it costs her fans will not be the only thing they have to consider. It might be the right choice for them even if some of their fans don't like it. That's the point I was making.

This has been a part of Jim Powers' schtick for years (see Devil's Film series Blacked Out) so he is certainly not going to change now. So get used to the heels and stockings for the duration he is the director at Dogfart.

As I always say, everything is not for everyone. Diversity in scenes is great and since I don't see scenes that are fully to my taste elsewhere, I appreciate DogFart. Most of the Blacked, Deeper, and Vixen scenes, show stockings and heels in the promo pics and sometimes even the trailer, but the scenes are void of that wardrobe. Brazzers used to do do a lot of stockings and heel scenes, but not so much anymore, probably because they shoot younger talent and girls tend not to dress like women.
In general, I think females look better in DogFart scenes than they do for other companies. Don't get me wrong, DogFart still has issues, the scenes where talent are holding GoPros while fucking look silly and the camera work in general is amateur, But you get the same elsewhere where camera work is flawless, lighting is award worthy, but the female look terrible either by makeup or wardrobe.
At the end of the day, when it come to IR scenes, I think DogFart is leading. They put out more scenes, women generally look and dress better and the image quality of the stream is nice. I could do without the long setups and weak scripts which lead to weaker acting, but I applaud them for trying.

I love Cherie Deville, but her Dogfart scenes aren't strong. I don't know if it's the casting, the way they are shot or the content, but I think Dark X and other have done better with her. She always looks great, but I prefer 1 on 1 anal scenes from her.
Christie Stevens is a Dogfart legend. Unlike Cherie, I think Christies best IR has been Dogfart with the exception of her Blacked Raw scene, She took so much chocolate in her ass, I thought there was going to be a police report!
