Having said this, however, an even cursory glance at the site CONFIRMS what's been said earlier: Asian actors tend to severely underhung. Rick Lee claims that his dick is about 6 inches long (I think it's true), which is just fine for normal guys, but since porn is geared toward size (espeially in the US), penis size is important. But Rick is but one - read: *ONE* Asian male performer in the US porn scene. There are literally scores of white and black dudes performing right now. If there were a comparable number of Asian performers as white or black ones and Asian performers tended to be consistently MUCH smaller, then maybe I'd agree. This is *exactly* akin to the prevalent belief of the 1970s and 80s that blacks were physically capable but not intellectually competent. This attitude was of course deeply entrenched in academic circles, but it was surprisingly widespread in the sports community too, where white analysts and coaches belived that black athletes were very good at powering or speeding through set plays, but not clever enough to direct plays on the football field, as white quarterbacks were capable of doing. It gradually wore off, as black quarterbacks stepped up and took leadership.

This same shit WILL happen with Asian men with increasing frequency in all arenas, including sports and business and yes, sex and porn.

Our society is not only just climbing out of an era of pretend-enlightenment, where society has tried to artificially force people to accept the idea of equality between the races and cultures. We're only clumsiliy and half-heartedly doing it right now (as evidenced by the very strong bias some of the posters here have toward an unproven porn niche - the Asian Man), but things will quickly change. Mark my words, you horny toads. You have it coming.

America is a DYI type of culture. The Frontiersmen of the 1700s, ALL immigrant groups ranging from Germans to Italians and Greeks to Japanese - and the settlers in the American West - created *everything* they and their descendent have now with their bare hands. NO ONE extended a helping hand and oftentimes they spat in the newcomers face. The Asian male is facing the same deal, and I'm cool with that. So if porn directors and producers are unwilling to let Asian male performers in, and maybe even gloat and laugh --then that's just fine by me and many other Asian men. What you need to understand is that porn IS about sexism and racism. Why do you think people want to see guys like Mandingo, Lex Steele, etc.? It sure as hell is not because these guys are great Thespians. Finally, your comment about Ed Powers is misguided. Ed Powers revolutionized the gonzo genre by suggesting (in his early movies and his early "Dirty Debutantes" installments) that an average fat and ugly guy could pull girls off the street and do all sorts of nasty things to them. There was no Hollywood glamour, no tarted-up pseudo porn-celebrity actresses, waiting to be discovered by Steven Spielberg.
