At this point, I still have questions: Are they going to dump all the episodes they've shot so far at once, or release them on a set schedule? Because they've had the contestants picked out for 3-4 months now, so they should have a lot of footage at this point And how is the voting going to work? Are they going to eliminate contestants and then have people vote on a final group? Are they going to have everyone around the entire time and then hold a giant vote? And I originally thought that all the contestants were going to be exclusive to the contest until some point where it ended, but they made Veronica Vain an official contestant and we know she's shot for other companies. Are all the other girls exclusive, and when is that exclusivity going to run out?
^ I'm also a bit hazy in regards to any exclusivity. As far as I know, the main stipulation was that eligible contestants could not have done any scenes before having been accepted for "The Sex Factor." On the other hand, awhile back on the Khaya Peake: Has It Goin' On! ADT Topic, Captain Jack posted, in part, that "Khaya, like all Sex Factor contestants, is contractually unable to film any scenes other than for the show. As soon as the competition is over, she'll be filming with anyone that hires her." Regarding Veronica Vain having performed in a few scenes, my only guess is that perhaps there was a small "Window of opportunity" between her TSF acceptance and exclusivity to the show.
^ I could have bought the "window of exclusivity" bit, except that Veronica's shot more than the Arrangement Finders scenes, and in fact shot a few scenes this past weekend. I get the impression that because of how big she got before she ever shot a scene (and she expressed interest in the show before she shot her first scenes), they were/are willing to bend the rules as far as her appearance on the show specifically. Edit: As far as the exclusivity is concerned in general, my question on the voting method ties directly into it. If they're going to eliminate performers before they get to the final vote, would that mean that those performers are free to shoot for other companies as soon as they're eliminated? Or would they still have to wait until the end of the contest. Honestly, that's the reason I'm expecting a big vote with all the contestants instead of voting them off as the weeks go by. ^ Based on what I've read on other ADT Topics, all of the SF Contestants are currently exclusive to the show until all shooting of the Episodes are completed! It's safe to say that Veronica Vain will continue performing, and I do know that Khaya Peake, who will soon be relocating to the U.S. permanently, will also be available to work with whatever studio hires her! Mainly because an exclusive girl is worth a lot more in terms of getting viewers than an exclusive guy.

I don't see the point of paying that much attention to the male contestants when this show is aimed at straight males AFAIK. Also the presence of established pornstars such as Tori Black, Lexi Belle & co is kind of superfluous as this is about seeing new talent and wondering how far they will go. If I wanted to ogle at Lexi Belle there are already hundreds of scenes for that. ^ I get the feeling that certain things were beyond "The Sex Factor" Producers control, such as the challenges of obtaining a deal for broadcast/streaming. Since their Tweet last month that episodes would start showing in late July, no further details have emerged regarding this. Perhaps, the challenges behind a broadcast/streaming deal may have proven more difficult than anticipated? A Reality Show of this nature has simply never been done, or even attempted! My guess (And it is only a guess!), is that such a deal had/has taken so long to secure that the show is now permitting the Contestants to accept other work. For what it's worth, I just sent them a Tweet. I'll be sure to post if there's anything pertinent in their reply.
They played on exclusivity card and they failed. What's the point of having a "contest" when we can watch their girls on other sites even before show starts?
I have spent some time in this industry- over 25 yrs in print magazine turned porn studio turned porn blog turned porn studio- and I have also spent some time with several of the contestants at both two sex expos- AEE and Exxxotica- I think I can also shed some light from what I have heard this weekend at Exxxotica. The Sex Factor has in fact finished filming and contestants are now free to shoot, and are booking through Motley Models. I know professionally that one of the blond female contestants has been working on a campaign for a major male toy company. I also heard at Exxxotica that Blair is the female winner of the show- if I was a producer on the show, I would be very alarmed that this information is just freely being talked about before the show has even had a chance to air. I can say after meeting the contestants at the AEE and the alleged winner at Exxx, I will not be able to take this show seriously- as serious as a reality porn competition can be taken. I'm not sure what happened on the actual show but this would never have been my pick as the front runner- 25 yrs in this business but don't mind my professional opinion, please. Fun girl, not legendary pornstar material, to say the least. This show is slated to air soon, but we have been hearing that for a year and a half so I suspect it did in fact crash and burn. I have been keeping up with their website and still no mention to where and when. Their twitter site has also been useless in my search for information. It is a bit of a shame because I think they could have been on to something with the idea here but it has been dragging out for so long- we heard about this at AVN 2014- and the only information that has been released has been by word of mouth from the contestants- through the personal twitters and interviews. It is very unfortunate because I know that I have lost interest from the poor marketing and non-communication and now knowing the outcome of the competition, I can't see this show being a success. I can say that several of the female and male competitors have "the look" and I am anxious to see if they will be working and shooting in the future.

Second, assuming that everything you've heard and posted regarding "The Sex Factor" is so, especially about Blair Williams being mentioned as the not yet aired show's Female Winner, thereby in effect, putting the Cart before the Horse, it would appear to me that a Broadcast/Streaming deal simply took so long to achieve (If in fact, it even has?), that freeing the Contestants to book and possibly, announcing TSF Winners was the show's only remaining option. About that, was Blair William's TSF Female Win officially announced, or has that been the rumored "buzz" around EXXXOTICA, so to speak? It also occurs to me that the talk about Blair Williams being the Female Winner could have been prompted by her presence at EXXXOTICA Chicago with Lexi Belle, who apparently picks a different Female Performer (I believe Abigail Mac was Lexi's pick last year.) to bring with her every year? I'm just trying to make some sense of what you posted above.
It was a fun idea, but this seems like one huge fuck-up. First off, they hire Belle Knox as a celebrity judge, and she bails; Second, a year after the much-publicized auditions, we still don't know how to watch the show; Third, the performers all start shooting scenes before the series airs (thereby ruining the mystery); and Now, the winner's name gets leaked before anything comes close to airing. I hope the investors get their money back, and all of the performers establish names for themselves, but it seems to me that Buddy Ruben thought, "I can sell software in Silicon Valley, how hard can it be to produce porn in the San Fernando Valley?" It seems to be harder than he thought.
I was at Exxxotica Chicago last year, and I don't remember Abigail Mac being "brought" by Lexi Belle. I don't actually remember Lexi "bringing" anyone last year, to be honest, but she did hang out around Ash Hollywood a lot (but Ash was always listed as being at the show, and had her own booth/space). Lexi literally brought Blair herself, to the point where Blair didn't have any promo materials to hand out, or any space for herself. She basically just stood around Lexi's booth and took pictures and signed things for the people that asked her to.
^ I could have swore that Lexi brought Abigail with her to a convention last year. Maybe it was at one of the other Exxotica events? I know I read somewhere that Lexi brought Abigail, but now that you've reliably refuted that it was last year's EXXOTICA in Chicago, I'm not sure which convention it was at. The Sex Factor: The Good News & Not So Good News! As it is now approaches the late July 2015 period, that had been announced back in May on The Sex Factor's Twitter feed, as being when TSF Episodes would begin airing, it seems like a good time to bring things up to date. The Good News: As previously posted, most of the SF contestants have signed on with Motley Models. To date, I know of a few who have done, or will be doing scenes (Besides "The Sex Factor" shoots!) very soon. Among them are Khaya Peake, who will be shooting for Fake Agent either later this month, or sometime in August. Blair Williams has also very recently shot a scene for New Sensations, and Buddy Hollywood will also begin shooting with Female talent before the end of the month. The Not So Good News: A week ago tonight, having read Khaya Peake's suggestion to another Tweeter, who had inquired about when "The Sex Factor" would start showing episodes, I decided to send them an inquiring Tweet myself. To date, I have yet to receive any response. If/when I do, I will try and post their reply in a timely fashion! One thing I do know from having followed at least most of "The Sex Factor" contestants on Twitter (This is how I'm aware of the upcoming shoots that I mentioned), is that they are not the ones to ask about when TSF episodes/scenes will begin to drop. They'll likely find out at about the same time as the "The Sex Factor" Twitter Followers do. I have found them all to be great to Tweet with, and I've sensed their collective strong commitment to their future in Porn! While patience has proven rather difficult for those who have been following this seemingly never ending TSF saga right along, I can't begin to imagine how excruciating it must be for the show's participants! My guess is the worst aspect for them is having to be careful not to reveal anything (Including activities) that might inadvertently give away the final outcome, especially with still no announced start date nearly 2 months after the completion of "The Sex Factor's" principal shooting! I do hope especially for "The Sex Factor" contestants sake that some news will be forthcoming soon, as in by the end of this month! In my opinion, they've already had to wait long enough!

The show shouldn't have been announced until they had a deal for broadcast. The Sex Factor Twitter account has been silent for about a month. I have a feeling that we'll never see the episodes.
^ Coming from you, that to me speaks volumes, Captain! Whatever "The Sex Factor's" ultimate fate, at least most of the contestants are/will be getting some shoots (IE. Khaya Peake is scheduled to shoot for Fake Taxi this Saturday!) out of it, if that's any consolation? While it's within the realm of speculation, my own take from the outside has been that on at least two occasions, the show all but had a broadcast deal in place (Substantiated by their "Broadcast Dates to be announced soon" tweets.), only for it to somehow fall apart each time. It is the contestants that I feel for the most regarding this situation. I mean, how long can they be expected to be guarded in their answers to inquires for a show that, as you stated, may very well never even see the light of day? In any event, time will tell for certain, but with still no broadcast announcement two months after the completion of TSF's principal shooting, the silence is indeed, deafening!
^^^^^I have no inside information at all. Just my 2 cents. It was always a red flag with the "broadcast dates coming soon" posts. If they had an agreement in place, they would at least give the where (what network or what venue) if not the when.
^ The Bottom Line: The last that "The Sex Factor" posted on their Twitter Page regarding any scheduled broadcast dates was an announcement in late May for airings to begin in late July, with more details coming soon, which to date, haven't! I will briefly note that Khaya Peake, Veronica Vain, Blair Williams and Allie Eve Knox each have their own ADT Topics. UPDATE: The following is only my opinion, but considering that four of the female contestants already have their own ADT Topics, within which news about their own upcoming scenes can be posted, I'm not sure that adding another TSF based Topic might not cause unnecessary confusion? I'm thinking at the very least, that it might be best to wait for any further word about whether or not "The Sex Factor" might eventually air, before starting any additional TSF related Topics. My suggestion would be to start Topics for other individual contestants, instead. In the meantime, I don't see any reason that scene announcements for TSF contestants who don't have their own ADT Topics can't be posted right here, since there is a related connection. Frankly, this Topic seems to be heading in that direction, as of late, anyway! Any thoughts, regarding the above? I do appreciate your asking me of my opinion, by the way! How much longer the wait will be for any word on when or if, is however, anyone's guess!
But are these the only 4 girls who have gone into the industry completely and shoot scenes? what about the other 4? I know Sydney Gilmour disappeared from twitter, but that's about it
