^ I actually started with the Rift and then Valve Index, and now use either VP2 or Reverb G2. I simply bought the Quest 2 to try it out, compare it, and return it.
Back when I started, Rift was the only decent option, I think. But now there are numerous options to choose from where Facebook isn't tracking all your usage.
Sorry to sound so bitchy about Facebook. I've had so many privacy issues across all their products, so I'm just not a big supporter of anything they sell.
Rocco and 1976, what makes VR porn special to you guys? Is it the stereoscopic element?
One thing keeping me from VR porn is the stage-setting, meaning it seems like I have to find a room where I can lock the door and put on the headset for at least half an hour. Hard to do for a parent with kids and wife, constantly needing your attention. Not as easy as going into the bathroom with your mobile for a few minutes, but I guess all the preparation is part of the enjoyment of VR
Which device do you use primarily now and why is it better than the Oculus Quest 2? I haven't tried those other devices but am curious why you like them so much more. I plan to eventually upgrade but as of right now I really like the quality I get with the Quest 2 at the price point.

Oh yes, it does take some preparation and the need to be alone until you're done (unless your significant other is totally fine with it. But if you can, you have to try it.
It is the 3D effect, it is more realistic, focused on you (in most cases) and feels like it's happening live and all for your pleasure. I especially liked one scene where it felt like I was in a large hot tub with 5 Japanese girls but JAV only shoots in 4K content which is kinda low quality. Can't wait for the day when we might have 8K or even 16K JAV VR porn. That would be Heaven.
A lot of it comes down to your general porn preferences and what you already like.
1. I like a good intro that builds up sexual attraction before the sex starts Each VR porn scene on average is 40 minutes to 90 minutes long, so each scene can include these long 5-20 minute teasing intros that you can watch some of or skim through that get you really attracted to the girl. Not all VR porn has this but a lot of it does. I think regular porn in a way has sort of a cheesy nature to it that it feels more like fantasy, whereas VR porn puts you in the moment and the girls say their lines like normal. They don't say them in cheesy ways like they are acting in a cheesy porno. You have a lot more realism in VR and it makes it feel different, it's more taboo, it's a wild ride and experience.

9. I like having some control of the POV angles On the Oculus Quest 2, if you hold down the Oculus button which looks like an o on the right controller, it recenters where the center of action is. So if she's on all fours and you are facing right in your chair to get more comfortable, it all shifts to line up with where your penis is. You can keep centering it to get it just right and perfectly centered. If you use the Skybox app like I do, you can shift the camera view around some. For example if they shot the scene from really high above which some people call the Giraffe angle, which some old VR porn has in it, you can zoom in closer with Skybox and position it where the girls body is more proportionate to how you want to view her. If you are sitting in a chair but they change to a position of the guy laying on his back, the girl is then up higher and farther away. With Skybox app you can lower the floor and zoom in so she's reverse cowgirl riding your lap. It gives you the ability to adjust the angles some. The point being is you can pause on certain scene positions and readjust the view to what is most pleasing to you if you view the downloaded VR video file in the Skybox app. You can't do this in regular porn. That added control of the POV angles is incredible. Think of all the scenes you couldn't orgasm to because the angle was off and now imagine if you had some control in adjusting them. You have some control in VR to do this.
Now one of the biggest downsides to VR porn is the camera is usually set at eye level. This means if you are like me and watch it sitting in a computer chair, and they move to a position laying on their back on a bed, the floor is usually much higher up in the air and the girl is farther away. This means you either need to go lay on a bed for that part to match the eye level or have an app like Skybox you are viewing it with that you can pause and adjust it first, or you have to skip ahead past that part if you can't get it to adjust right. Sometimes that happens with VR porn.
10. VR porn tends to have better angles than regular porn A lot of regular porn for example, to get the girl in the frame, they will turn the angle horizontally. So you'll get porn scenes where her ass is on the left getting pounded and her head is on the right, so they can fit it all in the frame. These angles rarely ever do it for me. You also have the angle of the girl on all fours and the guy is pounding it from behind and you see the back of the guys balls and legs as he's pounding it. This angle never does it for me either. You have reverse cowgirl where you see the guys face sitting behind her, sometimes this works. For the most part the angles I end up liking are somewhat POV angles of the girl on all four, the girl from behind, the girl on her back. In general I think POV just has better angles and with VR they don't have to worry about fitting stuff in frame.
For example when she's riding you cowgirl and facing you, she is on your lap. You look up some and see her face looking down at you with her hair dangling down in front of you. You see her breasts in front of you bouncing. You look down and you see her being penetrated and grinding. So you look from down to up and you see her full body. They don't have to worry about trying to squeeze that into frame. So it's just a different experience altogether. Sometimes it's nice to just stare at her face like real sex, staring into her eyes or looking at her smiling during sex. Sometimes it's nice to look down and stare at her ass taking it from behind. If you are viewing on Skybox app, a lot of times you can zoom out and see the full body some like a regular porno. So you got some flexibility.
You also have the depth of seeing your VR hands reach forward and grab her pigtails like handlebars while she's pounded from behind. Overall it's a different experience. All you can do is experience it.
Like I said before, all you have to really lose if you don't like is the cost of a subscription to POVR premium ($25), VirtualTaboo ($15), or whatever site you prefer and the cost of the Skybox app ($10). So it's like $35-$50 to try it this weekend with a $300 Oculus Quest 2 that you can return if you don't like it.
If I was in your situation, I would first get a computer and hard drive and sign up on POVR Premium. Go through on the desktop app and just search for your favorite pornstars or scenes that others have recommended that you think you might like. You can start the downloads and let them run a few days to get a good amount of scenes ready on a hard drive. Just favorite or add to a playlist the ones you want to download or have already downloaded. I then open up my playlist and continue where I left off, keeping track in notepad the list of ones I've downloaded. You can type the name in note pad for the file and rename it that after it's done downloading to organize it.
You can preview on the desktop with the audio off and just blind download a few titles you think you might like to a hard drive with your favorite pornstars. Just start with some of your favorite pornstars and some recommended scenes that are top rated on that platform, or recommended by others that you think might be good. Once you get a good amount, you can transfer those to the Oculus Quest 2 internal hard drive when you get it and get a feel for how it plays right on the device directly. You can then do the Skybox desktop streaming and compare to see what you think. You'll notice Skybox is just as good and faster so you'll likely just use that to stream everything from a hard drive. You'll need to download the files and have them ready to do that though, so you can start ahead of time and let it run overnight possibly for a few days to build up a list of ones you want to view at the highest resolution. Once you get the device you'll have the files to test it with and it won't eat into your return window on the device if you don't like it.
While those are downloading, or you've started downloading a few which could take time, you go and pick up an Oculus Quest 2. You set it up with a throwaway FB account and purchase the Skybox app. You then install the Skybox desktop app on your PC and drag and drop your VR file folder on the Skybox desktop app. On your Oculus you then connect on the Wifi via Skybox to your desktop folder and you stream from that and can adjust your angles and view on parts.
You can then go through and get a feel for how it works, preview the scenes. You can sort of view it with the volume off or down and just kind of get an idea for scenes you like and when you have more privacy you can go watch it with headphones somewhere.
It takes some practice to figure out how to use the Skybox app to adjust angles and positions and get used to using it. You won't be able to just go take it straight in the bathroom and start using it. You'll need to figure it all out first and you can do that with the volume muted to kind of see what it all does and is like.
When they are around you can also use it to check out VR movies and VR on YouTube. YouTube has a lot of VR stuff and you can search for other VR things to use with it. You'll have to figure out how to set a password on things or clear the cache if they want to use it.
They won't be able to access the Skybox files if you don't have Skybox app turned on your PC with your files folder connected to it. So you just unplug your hard drive and put it away somewhere. You could just stream right from the streaming sites but Skybox lets you adjust the angles and it's just a much better experience to quickly get the angles right while watching different scenes.
One thing I did once was I didn't have my headphones plugged in and I thought the audio wasn't very loud for some reason. It felt very low and muted, so I kept turning the volume up. I later realized after taking my headphones off that the audio was coming out the device because my headphones weren't plugged in and it was loud. So make sure your headphones are plugged in, do sound check where you remove them to see if you can hear anything and then put them back on.
Can anyone recommend the best VR sites? I've signed up to POVR.com as that seems to be a big collection of sites lumped together. Also joined Naughty America.
VRbangers seems to be a popular one but from seeing some trailers, it looks like a lot is very static, just you laying on your back whereas I like to see girls in doggy and lots of anal sex. Ideally I like English speakers rather than Euro stuff.

Here are some of my favorite sites
CzechVR - the best in terms of picture quality and how they shoot the scenes (angles, distance, etc).. however, the quality of talent is something I'm not a fan of. I prefer American pornstars compared to the mostly Eastern Europe talent on this site. However, some are really good.. I especially like the Charlie Red and Clea Gaultier scenes. It's sister sites CzechVRCasting and CzechVRFetish are also pretty good if you're into those kinds of scenes
18VR/BadoinkVR - really liking their newer 7K content. Scenes are generally good with good talent as well. Although I think they use a skin filter in their scenes to remove skin defects, so it always feels like there's a bright white or brown hue in their scenes. Not a big issue but I'd rather see the girl in all her natural self rather than it feeling like she's been painted
SLR Originals - While the SLR subscription gives you access to mostly mediocre VR sites, the SLR Originals that they shoot are pretty good and have amazing talent. I'm really looking forward to watching the latest Anny Aurora/Lily Larimar scene. I've just had a busy week and haven't gotten around to it.
ONE BIG THING I like about SLR Originals is that when they make scenes with 2 or 3 chicks, they usually select all hot chicks. Most other studios have one main hot chicks and the other two are barely attractive which ruins everything
NaughtAmericaVR - I think this site is only average, but sometimes I need the scenes with the talent I like (e.g. Ashley lane), so I sign up whenever a new scene featuring a talent I'm really into shows up.
WankzVR and VRBangers are also generally good. However, due to the realistic nature of VR porn, you gotta be really into the talent to enjoy the scenes. There are so many pornstars who I thought I was really into, but when seeing them through VR, it just doesn't do it for me as now I'm seeing what they really look like.

I tried to tell others on here, but it's hard to believe it until you experience it. All I can say is if anyone is on the fence, Target has started their holiday return policy where you can return your Oculus Quest 2 up until 1/24/22. The normal return window is 30 days at Target and only around 15 days at some places like I believe Best Buy. Literally no excuse to not try it if you have the funds because if you don't like it, you can return it up to around 4 months later which is crazy.
Honestly most popular sites are worth a 1 month sign up. You can register, download what you want and cancel and most likely you'll find at least 20-100+ scenes you want to download that will make you feel you got your money's worth. I think once you see how awesome VR porn is and if you like it, you'll eventually sign up on quite a few for at least 1 month.
Just remember that the average porn DVD a lot of people buy has around 4-5 scenes on it and you're lucky if 1-2 scenes are good and you spent anywhere from $10-$25 for that DVD back in the day. A lot of these sites will have 200-500+ VR scenes and cost usually less than the price of a DVD for a 1 month membership with unlimited streaming and unlimited downloads. So if you can get 10 scenes you want to download and keep, it's a great deal when you think about it. Really it comes down to what you are most into and want to see first because downloading takes time and you want to try to space it out so you have enough time to go through their catalogue and see and download what you want.
POVR premium has the entire WankzVR catalogue on their site, around 500+ scenes. That is a good studio to go through first. I have a high number of scenes I really like from that studio.
I believe SexLikeReal (SLR) has the full VRBangers catalogue on their site, or at least most of it and you can use the sign up code "SLRAPP" to get it for $20 for your first month. Try to find coupon codes if it doesn't already discount the price on the VR site. SLR works with the the free DEOVR browser app. In my opinion making it the best site to use by far. If you have limited funds, signing up on SLR first might be the best approach to see if you like VR porn or not. If you have more funds to really test it out, I'd save it for last and go with POVR first for the WankzVR collection, then go with VirtualTaboo, then VRCosplayX, and possibly another you prefer, and then save SLR for last.
I've went through VR Bangers catalogue on SLR and there are some good scenes worth downloading, but I don't think the catalogue is as good as Wankzvr, as their older scenes are not the best quality, it's really just the more recent ones in the last few years (which is still a lot). SLR will also give you SLR Originals and a lot of other studios. SLR Originals is very high quality with their latest files sizes being around 40gigs per scene. The average on most sites is 10gig-25gig per scene for example. My thoughts are to save SLR for last though because it's like 14k+ VR videos with a lot of duplicates from other sites like POVR. For example they have 90+ WankzVR whereas POVR has 500+ but they have a lot of other studios like VR Bangers and VR Conk. So you could take your time and go through them all on POVR first and later sign up on SLR and avoid a lot of the duplicates you already checked out to see the ones you haven't seen like VR Bangers and VR Conk.
I've seen some from a lot of different VR studios and they all will have some gems worth downloading. I really like VirtualTaboo and WankzVR. VRCosplayX and 18VR have some worth checking out too.
I posted a bunch of reviews on some of my favorite VR scenes that I've seen so far. Another bit of a noob question but when a scene is advertised as 360 degrees, does that mean you should be able to spin right around? I tried a couple and there are still points where the picture ends.

YouTube has some 360 videos shot with 360 cameras that let you spin around and look behind you or that let you drag your screen left or right to see around you.
Most VR porn is VR180 or half that so they can keep the video quality higher and file size lower for the view directly in front of you. If they use regular 360 cameras the quality is usually stretched around you and you get lower quality overall because current gen headset devices can only handle up to so much resolution in the file sizes. So an 4k 360 camera would be stretched around you and the quality cut in half in front of you and it looks more pixelated. So they instead focus just on the 180 view in front of you and keep all the 4k in that view so it's more 2k per eye. Or they'll take 2 4k cameras and shoot with wide angle lenses and stitch them together in a 180 view for an 8k video.
Basically what it comes down to is when they record VR180 porn, they use a VR camera that they position right at their eye level. So the male pornstar who might be standing while getting a blowjob, will have the camera lenses right in front of their eyes like glasses at eye level. If they are 6 feet tall, the camera is around 6 feet in the air at their eye level. The floor level is then 6 feet away. But if you download the video file and preview it in an app like Skybox VR media player, it will let you zoom in and tilt the position of the girl down. Basically it will let you adjust the position so she is more lined up with how you are sitting in the chair so you can keep watching it all while sitting in the chair and see if you can get a good view in the chair. Basically it lets you adjust the position of the girl so she is more lined up with the position of your penis and she's right on your lap again.
Otherwise you will have to go lay down on the bed for that part to see it from that angle. Really viewing it with a VR media player that lets you zoom in/zoom out, adjust the floor level up or down, tilt the camera position, all this added control makes it 100 hex better and easier to view. It's pretty much a must have to really experience the VR the best way possible. So I highly recommend getting Skybox VR media player (it cost $10 one time in the app store) and to play your downloaded video files through that to see the difference with the added controls.
Also one important thing to know is a lot of VR sites will advertise that they have the video files in 5k, 6k, 7k, or 8k but when you are watching them in the Oculus browser, they usually have a max resolution that they stream their videos at and it's often 2k or less, sometimes on some videos it will be at 4k. The browser will usually tell you in the bottom right what it is streaming at. I have rarely to never seen any stream at max resolution because the bandwidth demands would be too high. If you like the video, you can then go download the actual 5k/6k/7k/8k Oculus Quest 2 compatible file for example and stream it through Skybox desktop app to your Skybox headset app and actually see it at the max resolution with the added controls of zooming in/out and adjusting the floor level up or down.
When you buy Skybox media player it is linked to your Oculus account so you can then download it on your headset and launch it. On your PC you can install their desktop client software. What this lets you do is take a file you downloaded on your PC, drag and drop that folder of all the 1tb+ of files onto the desktop Skybox client app and then on your headset, you launch the app and click on airlink and it will connect via your wifi to the desktop app and stream them. So you can stream 1tb+ of files directly from your PC. The files could be on an external hard drive in a folder that you drag and drop on the desktop Skybox app. It doesn't transfer them, it just connects to that path to find them and stream them. From there you can stream them in 6k-8k etc. with the full controls to adjust the positioning. This is why the 128GB Oculus Quest 2 version is more than enough because the best experience comes from downloading and watching them anyways. Trying to transfer the files and play them from the headset is a hassle and it takes a while and sometimes freezes, it's just a pain to mess with.
Ha ha, that sounds like I'd need a better PC than my crappy old laptop. I guess I'll just have to stick to streaming though the headset for now. I'm usually in my bedroom so can always lay down, stand up or whatever the scene requires if I want to.

What I recommend doing is installing DeoVR on your headset if it's not already on there. It's a free app that has a browser built in that lets you go to websites. From there launch it and go to SexLikeReal.com and click on one of the videos on there that has one of your favorite pornstars. It will launch the video in the DEOVR player app and it will give you full controls of zooming in, zooming out, adjusting the floor/height level up or down, tilting, etc. while you are streaming it. SLR limits how many free previews you can view until it asks you to sign up for an account so click a good video to preview the trailer for.
DeoVR is like Skybox VR Media player but it's a free app and lets you adjust the position while streaming it on a few sites like SLR. Skybox VR Media player does not have a built in web browser like DeoVR, it's mostly just for streaming from your PC to your headset or playing files that are transferred to your headset.
DeoVR works best with SLR website and most other sites it will not work with at all. So the browser function is cool but misleading in that it won't work with most sites. You can go look at sites like POVR, NaughtyAmericaVR, 18VR, VRCosplayX on DeoVR and see it is not compatible with those sites to get the same added functions you get on a site like SexLikeReal. On those sites it will stay in theater mode where you see the screen out in front of you like in a theater and it will not let you switch to immersive mode. It's basically an app for a few sites like SLR. So at the end of the day, it comes down to those added functions of zooming in and out and adjusting the positioning and I like Skybox VR better for that and also like that you can stream it from your PC.
So preview SLR on DeoVR first, in my opinion this gives you a good idea of the benefits of zooming in/out and adjusting the positioning. From there you'll see why it would be good to download files from those other sites that aren't compatible with streaming and previewing through DeoVR and possibly just watch them through Skybox from your PC streaming to your headset.
What I typically do is sign up on a new VR porn website on my desktop PC and write down my login info, I'll then put on my headset and launch the Oculus Quest 2 browser and go to that website on my headset, sign in and preview the VR videos on the headset.
The Oculus Quest 2 has a built in free web browser that you can lookup any website, sign in to your account, and click on the VR video and it will then let you choose to allow the built in media player in the browser to go full screen or immersive mode to view it. This browser is a good way to preview videos on a VR website you sign up on to see which videos you want to download.
You can skim through some videos, watch some, and then favorite the ones you want to download later, or add them to a playlist if the site supports creating a playlist, or you can just write them down on paper.
Then you can install/launch a free download manager program on your PC like JDownloader (does not work with SLR but works with most other sites) or Free Download Manager (which works with SLR) to download all the ones you want.
Some sites have java script that blocks you from right clicking the download link and pasting it in Jdownloader type programs. So on those sites you have to click download to start it in Chrome or Firefox, then go to your downloads folder, pause or stop it, and copy the link from there and paste it in Jdownloader.
It's recommended to download only a few at a time as the links on a lot of sites expire, so it depends on your internet speed and how many hours it estimates it will take. Most sites have all their links time out in less than 8 hours. If they expire, in Jdownloader you can right click on the download that is stuck at 50% for example and stopped, and change the url with the new one and click start again and it will continue from 50%. That is the benefit of using a download manager, you can change out the download URL and continue them if they stop or time out and continue from where they stopped at instead of downloading that first 50% all over again.
I will then put them all in a folder on an external hard drive and then drag and drop that folder in Skybox desktop app, launch Skybox app on my headset, click airlink to connect to the files on the PC and it will then let me stream and view the entire download folder off the external hard drive in the highest res with added controls to zoom in/out and adjust the positioning.
I don't think the quality of your PC matters because it's just used to download and load the files and push them through your wifi to your headset. Your headset is what really plays them and has the graphics card built in to play them. They aren't played on your PC unless you turn mirroring on to try to play them at the same time. So it should not matter.
However if you don't want to mess with it and test it to confirm, I would say the best website then would be to sign up on SexLikeReal.com with the code SLRAPP. After you sign up on there, sign in via the free DeoVR browser app on your headset and you can experience the zooming in/out functionality from streaming without having to download the files.
Signing up on SexLikeReal.com and using the free DeoVR app to browse and play videos is by far the best streaming experience. It's so good I recommend it last because it will make you really dislike all the other sites that don't have it as good because they aren't compatible with streaming through DeoVR like SLR is.

If you don't like the scene, you can click next on the play bar and it skips to the next video in your search results. So if there are 430 VR Banger videos, it will next you through all 430. So you can basically go through every video in the VR Bangers series more quickly. On other VR sites you have to preview it in the Oculus browser, click exit, go back to where you were, click the next one and launch it, click exit, go back and find the next, etc. In DeoVR you just click the next button in the play browser.
This is also great if you want to search for certain videos that have tags like Anal, Teen, Small Tits, Large Tits, etc. So you can search the tag Anal and see all the videos that show up, sort by new or most favorited of all time, then click the first and next through all of them.

The Oculus Quest 2 has it's own Oculus web browser that lets you use Google and search and go to any website you want to view or stream content. You can type the url in the browser at the top or search Google for it. There is a YouTube app you can use as well. If you go to YouTube there are some free regular VR videos on there for things like travel. If you try to watch a regular video it will play flat like in a theater but depending on the file it will play like you're watching it on a very big theater screen. Kind of like when you go to the movies to watch a 3D movie, it's very large and flat but parts of the screen come out at you, that's what watching a 3D movie on it will be like also. It lets you view videos like you're watching them on a very large flat screen theater display in a theater. Some apps like Skybox will let you choose where you're sitting in the theater, so you can sit in the middle, back, up front, etc. They create a virtual movie theater room that you are sitting in and can watch your 3D movies in that room like that. You can dim your theater's lights, choose which theater room you prefer, you can even invite others to your theater and they can watch a 3D movie in your theater with you.
It's worth getting one and trying it out and learning how they work. Target has their holiday return policy until 1/24/22 so if you don't like it, you have over 3 months to decide on keeping it.

On the Oculus Quest 2 there are speakers in the headset, so you can listen to it without headphones. Or you can sync wireless bluetooth headphones to it. It has a standard headphone jack on the front left, so I just plug headphones in. I put the headset on, then plug in my headphones and put them on over it.
All you really need to test out a VR headset, is the headset and some standard plug in headphones if you want privacy. You can then get a subscription on a VR porn streaming site to stream and download scenes.
If you end up liking the headset and VR porn, some accessories you'll want to consider getting are:

Lens cleaning cloth or Lens cleaning pen Most likely you already have one of these to clean your glasses or sunglasses. You can use that same lens cleaning cloth to clean the lenses on your headset. If you don't have one, you might want to pick one up or get a lens cleaning pen. Some people swear that a lens cleaning pen is the best way to clean them to really remove any dots on the lenses, but I find that the lens cleaning cloth works good enough for me. It really helps to clean it before each use so there is no fog or dust on your lenses.
A more comfortable head strap The Oculus Quest 2 comes with a basic elastic head strap to slide it on over your head. This elastic strap isn't that bad to use but over time you'll find that your headset will put more weight and pressure on the front of your face, it's front heavy. So a good accessory to get is a better head strap that you can change out on it, that balances the weight better and adds more padding and comfort. Foam Replacement This is optional but is something I got because some websites recommended it to improve comfort. Basically you can change out the padding on the front of your Quest 2 with padding that is thicker and softer. They sell them in different colors. This really isn't needed and isn't as important as getting a good head strap. That will improve comfort more than anything. This is just a slight bonus. The downside is the free silicon cover that comes with your Quest 2 or the iovroigo kit does not fit this, so you'll also have to consider getting their silicon cover for it as well. Skybox VR Player App After you get your headset, you can create a throwaway/new Facebook account to register it and activate it if you don't want it tied to your personal one. Whatever account you use, is the one you'll then want to buy any apps on because it connects to that account and allows you to download them. You'll install the Oculus Quest 2 app on your phone and sign in with the newly created Facebook/Oculus account and from there you can also purchase apps in their store. One app I recommend getting is Skybox VR player. You can use either on WankzVR. They both literally download the same file. It's more of a server congestion issue.
My experience with VR porn is that it's entirely 4th-wall-open where performers are openly and a actively performing for the camera (inclusive of POV). That is my least favorite type of porn, unless the scene/camera work is exceptionally well composed (which isn't the case in VR porn I've see). I simply don't find anything compelling in VR content. I see a new creative medium still in its infancy with potentials yet to be tapped. But, there may be content that I am unaware of.

Are you basing this based on actually viewing it through a headset? I ask, because, like you, I too majorly detest POV porn on a flat screen. In VR, however, it's an entirely different story.
Yes, I've spent considerable time watching and evaluating porn with quality VR headsets. My criticism is with the content. The 'wow factor' diminishes quickly for me and most users. I could quote studies (outside of porn, as the same issue exists). Content is the problem. I would personally describe VR porn as gimicky, as is non-porn VR content today. Which is why it isn't getting much traction.
But when killer content arrives, VR could be awesome. I don't think that will happen until content development goes more grassroots.

Hmm.. I don't think you understand VR setups very well. An advanced one like the Vive Pro 2 require trackers mounted on walls and the headset connected to a powerful PC with a powerful graphics card.

I don't think you understand that most VR porn consumers are using cardboard-like devices to discreetly watch porn on their phones, in the toilet, just like most porn consumers. Porn is a mass market industry, the money is in catering to billions, not hundreds. And the real benefit VR brings to the market is to cheaply and discreetly transform the 3-inch wide asses they're seeing on their phones into life-sized ones, because size matters when it comes to tricking your reptilian brain into thinking that a depiction of a naked woman means you're about to reproduce.
The benefits of VR for the niche of consumers that already watch it in good setups is -like 3D 8 years ago- mostly gimmicky, aimed at the sort who get turned on by toys (and even strangely defensive over them - non-pov porn is cuck now? ).
And it's even more of a gimmick when you consider videogames -the primary media VR is marketed towards and the reason why VR gear isn't automatically perceived as a masturbatory tool- as first person VR is a terrible fit for all but a tiny niche of game genres (slow paced first person games) and that it's porn -not videogames- that is primarily driving VR adoption.

I'd put VR tech of the sort general consumers would like (seamless, full viewing angles, etc) about 20 years out. I've spent time with top of the line setups that are not available for purchase. The technology is not there. Manufactures themselves would tell you no differently. Making VR porn is also challenging - which it won't necessarily be in future. Current consumer devices are 'curated experience' marketing expenses aimed at the young so as to cultivate the market for when VR does become viable.
The medium will eventually have much to offer, but not so much right now.
^ Sorry, I don’t mean to rain on a parade. Everyone’s tastes are going to differ, and certainly there’s lots of VR porn available today for people to watch and enjoy. I was originally asking for VR video suggestions. Since the thread took a different turn, just wanted to offer my 2¢ on where I see VR currently as a counter example.
