^ I've always looked at it this way: It's not the quantity of loads that matter when it comes to blowbang/facial scenes, but rather, it's the quality of each load. I mean, I've seen more than a few blowbangs that had 10+ guys, but produced a weak final product (facial), where I'm expecting a girl to get absolutely drenched, but she just ends up with a couple drops and strands of jizz on her face. Conversely, I've also seen some blowbang scenes with just 5-6 guys in which the girl gets absolutely plastered. Essentially, all the director can do is hope that the guys will do a good "paint job," it's all up to them to bust a big load and "hit the target." As far as I'm concerned, you don't need to go out and recruit a basketball team (12+ guys) to produce an awesome blowbang/facial scene.

Hi TVS, Speaking of web income -- I wonder if there isn't a deal (from either JJV or Videobox or whomever) that could get you the money to create some true HD releases from your catalog of "Shot in HD" titles that are only offered in SD right now. It seems like the fans truly want this type of content but not that many studios are making this stuff (or at least with the same frequency or quality). It seems like a true HD version of Insatiable Voyage would be very popular. How much of your catalog is shot on HD but is only available as SD right now? Thanks for chatting on here.
as far as our movies in true HD; all of the recent stuff should be available in that format at Adultdvdempire & AEBN, or even through the links at JJV.com. Hotmovies buys blocks of movies every so often, so that's why you will see a gap in our content being available there. if 'true HD' is 1080, and these specific websites are only offering up to 720, then there's nothing we can do about that. and that's most likely due to a bandwidth issue for the/whatever individual site. we save a true 'HD split' version whenever we run our Quicktimes, as ALL movies shot in HD have to be down-converted for the dvd replication process.
at Hotmovies it is very easy to know which title is offered in HD as you'll see the logo on the cover, whereas the SD versions don't have it. and the amount we get per movie from those guys (HD vs. SD) isn't enough to go back and have all of them up-converted for the site at this time, since the SD versions have already been purchased and are still under term.(< so why bother now) also, please keep in mind that our movies (Mike & myself), are our movies. and nobody is going to send money our way for 'our' product. and that's just business and is actually fair practice. it's our fault we didn't think to save our HD split versions years back, but even if we did, as of right now, it wouldn't have made that much of a difference (that I can see) to our production environment overall. now, I know you & many others are still VERY loyal fans of ours, but the harder content Mike & I are known for is less popular now for multiple reasons; 1, it became too expensive to monetize so it had to stop or else the lights would have went out looong ago. 2, fans now are almost afraid of straight up gonzo that's hard and honest. nowadays there has to be some fu*king bondage or rape, or step daughter/incest theme thrown in, and we don't do that. we want to showcase girls doing porno our way, because they WANT to, not because it's some new fad made popular by people who don't know how to make porno unless someone's tied up or they use male performers who have to spike their c*cks to get through their scenes.. that's not us either. so these fans you speak of, have either changed their tastes, or are new ones that don't particularly care to see a women ENJOYING an airtight DP, or, they just get their jollies at one of the dozens of tubesites w/our stuff already there. imagine if all of our catalog was in HD,...the tubes would prolly have had some jerkoff webmaster upload "Bobbi & Dana" just out of spite because they were never able to create (by themselves) the kind of porno that Mike & I always have. sorry if I went on a bit of a rant here, but these things needed to be said because there ARE still some great fans out there and Mike & I are STILL making movies (with NO web revenue) so I guess we're doing something right, because the lights don't stay on by themselves. I really wish I could do a Teenage Spermaholics, NCDA, or especially a Crowd Control w/NO budget restraints... those would be fu*king amazing w/some of the girls I like nowadays... but it wouldn't make it's money back, and I know because I see the numbers. other studios are going big you say? good for them, lets see if they're still here 5 years from now. it's not fair to compare a web-based company that had OCEANS of revenue to make a move INTO dvd territory, because they're already on auto-pilot and it could just be a very expensive vanity project til they grow tired of it..(it's happened before). but to go BIG on a dvd now,(exclusively) w/what the buyers have to spend?.. no way, it will NOT recoup. at least not in my eyes. if these other shooters were spending their own money then I wouldn't even be typing this since they wouldn't be able to afford these A-list casted movies on both the M & f side of the talent pool. we have a great deal w/JJV and the team there does a fantastic job each month to get us the best #'s possible, so to see newer companies come in and try and command the price JJV does it tells me how many pieces they gotta move to just break even, since I can break down a budget by just looking at the cast list of 90% of any gonzo movie out there. I'm just sharing a little of what I know about what I see. Was it the one with Manuel and Stefano from Fuck Holes, or the one with Everhard and Stefano from Blowout? I'm just curious about which was Keri's first DP scene. She was a natural in both so it's hard to tell.
hey bub, sorry it took forever to answer this but I had to go back through my shoot logs to see what day and which scene was shot first. the TFH scene was the first of the two DP's for Keri and was shot on 12/1/04. her 2nd DP was on 12/13/04 and was for O-Ring Blowout... after that she went on a torrid pace of anal scenes that ultimately burned her out and saw her leave XXX FAR too soon.. thanx for the question... lates, von S.

Like I said, I've always heard and have believed for a long time that your stuff came first, but now I'm not entirely sure.

[/quote] at the time I was told that Keri had done an anal scene for Jules but nothing about it being a DP,..all signs point to being that scene WAS her first actual DP (w/Shwatrzenpecker & M.Wood) but we were under the impression that she had only done anal & no double plugging. it's all academic now, and it was still an ultra-high pressure situation given that I was under the gun to deliver these first two scenes for RLD & PXP which have now become quite iconic. hope this helps bub,..and thanx for that meme^..that was great. rofl. lates, von S.

Tim your product sellls well regarding to the charts. Do you see any chance to came back with ncda? Would be freakin awesome seeing Vicki Chase getting dped and swallowing huge mouthfuls of cum in that series.
Im not sure what charts you're looking at, but we definitely don't have the #'s for an NCDA. in the current climate one needs to have strong dvd sales (which we do, JJV does sell at the top of the spectrum), affiliate/membership site revenue, consistent foreign sales(dvd), and regular broadcast/licensing sales to continue to produce content on a monthly basis. we only have 1 of those 4 every month, and sometimes 3 of the 4, but never all 4 which is why I'm financially restricted to what I can do w/the movies I do for Mike & myself. even if I did have the budget, who am I going to hire male talent wise? everyone is so hung up on the A-listers now, but the $$$ they charge makes an NCDA or Crowd Control impossible and I totally resent that. I do NOT agree w/the guys making more than the girls, and some guys command equal or higher rates than the women for a bg scene and I find that ridiculous. but, lets say I throw that out the window too and go ahead and make one of those titles and it comes out great, etc.. I still don't see it performing well enough to cause some surge/windfall of sales after the sizeable budget it would've required, so even then I have to re-consider this whole process. look, I don't own a major studio or have some conglomerate sized internet investor behind me to fund our movies. I only have me, lol. in fact I was talking with Everhard the other day about just how LITTLE money I've made in my career as in my 'hired gun' days the most I ever made in a month was 8k. that's it,..8 thousand dollars(gross, not net either!...) that's NOTHING in xxx, especially for that era (03-07). and that hasn't changed, since now I exist solely off of the production parameters I'm allowed with each statement whilst trying to have some of it roll over month-month as savings with varying success. sure, some people are killing it and maybe we 'should be' too, but there were some deals that never got made years back that should have which are causing a direct and dire impact on us financially. and there's nothing I can do about it since I haven't been given the 'authority' necessary to do so. which means, it's on with the show until the wheels fall off... before I end this lengthy reply I did want to add; you're absolutely right about Vicki. she would make a terrific choice for NCDA. but now I look at all of these DP and showcase movies with group scenes and this new found glory for that 'facial' series and will admit that I wish I had the money to show people that we can still make raunchy high voltage gonzo too. but this is a business and we (Mike & I) were so good at it for a while that we were able to make what we wanted when we wanted, i.e.; Insatiable Voyage which stared on a whim from Mike seeing Bobbi & Dana peaking at that time so he took advantage. we built an immensely strong catalog, and the inertia of years of strong titles has left us one of, if not THE very last set of independent producers left from the gonzo heyday that wasn't part of the Evil empire. that alone is a whale of an accomplishment, but it's doing neither us, or the fans much good nowadays is it? look gang, I'm keeping the lights on. that's all I can do, until I can't. as always, thanx for the interest and for being fans all these years later, we super appreciate it. lates, von S.

Lots of the newbies are blinded by their agencys which probably earn today the same than they did between 2004 - 2009. It´s a shame that really good girls don´t get the chance to perform in real nasty gonzo stuff which they would probably love to do because there they can show how talented they really are and what seperates them from the other girls. Nowadays all those feature movies with 4 scenes and probably one "real" gonzo scene is only a marketing gag from the agencys. Except V for Vicki - this was an outstanding movie.

Lexington Steele might be able to get that much when he's not performing for his own DVDs, but I'm not sure. Hey Tim, I have some more questions pertaining to Keri Sable... sorry for the broken record act. I'm trying to compile a complete as possible collection of Keri Sable picture-sets. I've already gotten one for her Teen Fuck Holes scene (Great pics by the way). I'm interested in getting any pics from her O Ring Blowout scene. That movie was for Red Light District, but I don't believe the set is available on clubredlight.com. Would you happen to know what site they've migrated to? Also, I found some pics from her Teenage Spermaholics 3 scene in a preview gallery on Adult DVD Empire. Here's one of the sample pics: Are there more pictures from this set, and if so, do you know what site I would have to join to get them? I know it's a long-shot since we're talking material from a decade ago now, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks.
^ok, here's the difference/breakdown of those movies and where to (hopefully) find what you're looking for; TFH was a PXP movie and was owned by them. it's my knowledge that the PXP catalog has been whored-out/re-sold multiple times since then so that's prolly why a gallery, or 100 of that shoot is locatable online. O-Ring Blowout was a Vince owned title thru RLD. You'll have to try and find his catalog or links to it in order to find galleries etc. Teenage Spermaholics is a Mike John owned series, but I don't think ANY of the online access to those scenes offer a stills gallery to go with it. Outside of Hotmovies, AEBN, or Videobox, I'm not sure there's anywhere else (legally) that you can find that content. when I did the comp. DP Overdose, I had to use the old gallery from the archive discs since I don't know where the raw files are for that movie. you see, back then I worked with Mike quite often, but I wasn't in charge of anything, so most of his archiving of still galleries and other promo materials are somewhere either at his house, or lost forever... now as much as that might seem a tragedy, it's just another scene in the catalog. even if it IS volcanic, it's just a relic from a time when everything about porno had a different focus. shame I don't have any better news, but the realm of Chatsworth based porno is almost completely dead in my opinion. we definitely made some things that even now certain 'darling' directors try to emulate or blatantly rip-off through camera work, but whatever, we did everything our way with our own money. and that speaks for itself. we weren't copy-cats or posers, we just made hard, honest gonzo for the true strokers/raincoaters. and if ANYONE in XXX has a problem with me saying that, then please contact/call/email me so I can let you hear firsthand from me how/why I feel that way since I'm NOT about mincing words.
