Anyhow, the nurse was suppose to talk to the doctor and call me back with the day and doctor the operation would be done. Instead, she calls me back and says the doctor will not give me a referral because of my age. He doesn't even know my situation or anything. I have a 2.5yr old daughter, I'm 22, and going through a divorce. I never wanted to get married anyways...long story. BUT, I know for a fact that I will not want any more children until I'm married again.....30's or so. By then I'm sure I will have slept with 50 or so women. If not that many women it will be a lot of times, I like / need sex I'd rather pay the thousand or whatever it costs to have the operation reversed when I'm ready for more kids. I'm wanting to know how I can get this doctor to give me a referral? Should I lie and say I have 2 kids and engaged to a woman with 2 of her own and one by me???? I got to get this operation done! I will fill so much better knowing that there is no way I can get anyone pregnant. Yes, I use condoms. Thanks for any advice! Jonathan [Link] |

I was happily married and had several children already. I still had to get my wife's permission to have the procedure. She even had to come to the education sessions with me. It's not only the situation that is causing the Doctor to not refer you, it is your age (as you already know). Having the operation reversed is not as easy as you may think. It is long and incrediblely painful. No one in their right mind would go through with it. IMHO You still have a lot of living to do. I know that's a sh!tty response, but it's true. You can find some Doctor to refer you somewhere, but after that you have to find the Urologist to preform the outpatient operation. Another problem. |

Later, the "plug" could just be removed. This was just in the testing stages back then (it's been 10 years at least), don't now what ever became of it. Good luck |
