Hi,

Could somebody tell me if they know if there is a Traci Lords greatest hits complilation out there. Not sure how PC this bearing in mind the dispute over her age, however if anybody could point me in the direction so i can ask about the legal stuff she made, it would be appreciated.

The only legal title in the US is "Traci, I Love You" but it never made it to DVD. You can read about it on Wikipedia.

The bottom line is that she owns the rights and doesn't want it out there.

I'm not aware of a "best of" compilation, but Blue One might have made one. At least they've got several of her movies available.

As XRentWebmaster suggests, you won't find anything like that in the USA, though.

Blue One actually have 3 separate "3 films on 1 disc" sets available featuring Traci Lords movies, plus her appearance in New Wave Hookers is available on their 3 disc, 5 movie set.

I can't comment on the legality of owning these in any given territory.

Seeing that I'm English, and under English law the age of consent is 16, I wouldn't mind getting hold of some of her early stuff!

They changed the law in the UK (and a lot of other European countries) that the age of consent does not equal the age for appearing in porn anymore. So technically those movies are now considered kiddieporn. Hell, the UK law is so crappy that having an old page 3 picture of Samantha Fox (who was 16 when she started) can get you charged.

The unclear part of those new laws is the grandfathering of movies/pictures made before the law changed, there is no jurisprudention yet. Nobody is volunteering for that court case...
