Imagine a world where one person buys a DVD and says "hey, there's a lot of porn on this wrestling DVD". Someone else buys the same DVD and says "hey, there's a lot of wrestling on this porn DVD". Not seen any confirmation on a WWE deal in any of the newsletters. WWE developmental is now in Florida, she'd have to move there full time if she had a deal. If a deal was in place, considering the physical demands of a wrestling career, I'd guess her other career would have to end anyway. WWE also recently shifted to PG rated programming and are going for a more child and family-friendly product. [Link]

I'd wager the vast majority of them never pan out into anything even remotely resembling a roster spot or television time for the people who get them. I was going to say that I doubt a former pornstar has any chance of seeing herself on WWE television in a recurring role. But if Trina Michaels landing an actual contract leads to a premature burial of Ramsey, then I'm fuckin' pulling for her. [Link]

Playboy is ok, esp. if you do it when working for the company, but porn is not. So this is probably just a rumor and Trina doesn't have a developmental deal because she'd bring in too much heat. That's why Jenna Jameson never worked for the company, but did work for ECW. So if Jenna cant get hired there (as was considered) during the height of the Attitude era when everyone was doing hardcore matches, crotch shots and the girls were wearing as little as possible, then I can't see it happening now when the company is sadly moving toward more kid friendly product. Of course for any red blooded American male, no matter what age, Trina Michaels is most assuredly a very friendly presence ;-) This would be awesome if true, but I just don't see it being true. Vince allegedly has a policy saying there's no hiring of anyone who's done even just nude shots in the past (one reason we've never seen the luscious April Hunter on WWE. As for those talking about Florida and OVW and anywhere else, Trina will have a long way to go before she ends up in any of those farm leagues. They don't take a completely untrained hand and throw them on TV, even in small markets and their developmental territories. If Trina doesn't quit she might make it to one of those places and her making it on to actual WWE TV is an even longer shot. I'm not saying she can't do it but I'd say don't hold your breath. After the money she's made in porn it's going to be hard to take a lot of the shit that comes with being in the wrestling business. She has NO idea what she's in for. [Link]

After that I was just seeing Jim in her face and busting a gut. What would be a tragedy is if they make Trina dress down in some unrecognizable hairdo and outfit to cut down on the number of people who figure out who she is. (notice i say most, not all) if trina really does go through the training and develops a nice move set, awesome. but if vince is just doing this to get a little ratings spike, then this is gonna be a waste. While nowadays they seem to be brought in with the promise of being wrestlers who soon wind up sucking and being simply eye candy, Trish was brought in specifically to be eye candy (the valet/manager of T&A, Test and Albert) before she herself took a genuine interest in becoming an in-ring talent. Trish really wanted it and over time became really good. There are more than a few periods I can recall where she was the best female wrestler on the roster (or trading that honor with Lita). alexl467 Member Bklyn, NY 873 Posts 4/03	Posted - Oct 8 2008 : 12:18PM For the WWE fans that are here do you all think for Trina to have a legit chance of making it to the main roster she must be able and/or willing to do most if not all of the following? 1) Until she gets respected for her in-ring and on-mic abilities tone down her sexiness and wear outfits that aren’t so revealing, maybe like Lita’s ring attire during her time with Team Extreme and/or a female version of Jeff Hardy’s current outfit. 2) In attempt to get people to view her as more than just a former porn star maybe try to do something extreme with her look, like taken on a persona of a really pierced up bald and/or Mohawk having punk chick. 3) She must be twice or three times as great as any current or past WWE superstar (female or male), both in the ring and on-mic. She must be someone Vince couldn’t see not having in his company, like a female version of Stone Cold, The Rock, or Hogan. 4) She must be able to do the types of high flying maneuvers that wrestlers such as the following are able to do with ease. Evan Bourne Aj Styles Kofi Rey RVD 5) She must be willing to be a bleeder, participate in hardcore matches, and regularly perform the suicidal type of spots that Jeff Hardy and Sabu have done over the years. alexl467 [Link]

She just has to have a look or skill set that pleases Vince and co. It's as simple as that. She could prove to be a great worker but not have the promo skills to be a convincing character or she could be great on the mike but not so good in the ring. But if Vince and his TV people like her then she's going to get her shot. That's really the only qualification you need to be on TV. But whatever happens, she's going to have to put in a lot of hard work and I wish her the best success in making good on this. Hope she gets in there and kicks some ass. KMB [Link]
