"The Business of Women" for girlsway had better storyline, production and the sex was great. It's one of the best features ever made imo. Looking closely at the Tushy ratings system the ratings seem remarkably stable after the first couple of days. Despite that, I have now observed two of the three released parts of this series suddenly jump in ratings in a way which could only be achieved through manipulation. I also note that two comments were left by people noting this and Tushy have erased them both. They haven't erased the many ludicrous "this is the greatest porn scene I have ever seen in my entire life" posts which I am pleased about as they are so OTT they made me laugh. In the overall scheme of things it is hardly a huge issue but I think it is a bit pathetic. [Link] |

What realy is happening right now is that some want some scene and performers be taken down and are pissed when they think some rating has been altered but didn't give a shit when this happened before multiple times. The reality of this is that by implying they alter the ranking they are also trashing down the company as a whole , which would be the reason why they possibly removed his comment , if this truly happened , you know we've been discussing an issue here for months, about how was it possible that all those negative comments put in here weren't on the site , that lead to the conclusion that none of them was a paying member or possibly he was a one member with multiple accounts on ADT .. Downvoting can be an issue but unless people are voting more than once each then I am not sure really what you want. What is being suggested here is not upvoting based purely on the reputation of the performer but that the website itself is artificially changing the ratings to make their big showcase seem more popular than the viewers have voted it. That is not the same as the issue you describe as it is the company effectively manipulating viewer ratings. But I apologise for not commenting on these other issues in the past and realise that by not commenting on them it means that any comments or criticisms I make are logically fallacious and without foundation. As to comments taken down and whoever left them, the comments I saw were not offensive but simply pointed out the apparently instant jump in score of around 1.5 points. Having said all of that, I have now watched this scene over fifty times and it has revolutionised every aspect of my life. I now realise every porn scene released over the past 40 years is no more than worthless rags compared to this genre defining fairly mediocre DP scene featuring a girl-girl performer seemingly doing what some other actresses do scene after scene after scene for one tenth the fanfare and acclaim. | LCF All-Star Member Non Prevalebunt! 10364 Posts 1/05 | Posted - Sep 6 2018 : 9:08AM It's just math if you add a supervote it would be a lot less important than giving a lowest vote , on those sites you can vote up to 10 (five stars) if there are say three votes averaging 8 (for example a 6 an 8 and a 10) if I add another 10 it's impact would be minimal in fact 6+8+10+10= 34: 4 =8.5 so a ten would only add o plus 0.5 a 2 on the other hand 6+8+10+2=26 :4= 6.5 so a downvote would change the average by 1.5 , THREE times more than a maximum vote. Downwoting scenes has a rather important weight on them and could affect the chances of a star to get there again , way more damaging for the girls than the male talent they are fewer , you can avoid hiring some names up to a point if you don't want to work with a very limited pool, as for the girls there are hundreds of them and dozens new ones every week [Link] |

By the same token YOU will appreciate that voting a scene down from 9.0 to 7.5 is way easier than voting it up, a couple of days after release, from 7.5 to 9.0. The ONLY way that could happen is if the webmasters rig the voting. That could either be by creating a false number of ten scores to the database or by removing all low scores. Personally, I can absolutely see why those scenes would get a score in the low 8's or high 7's because for all the awesomeness of the plot and non-sex parts they appear to have forgotten the fact they are porn scenes somewhere along the way, with the kind of lighting and angles that may be fantastic for a Hollywood production but not what many consumers expect or want in a porn scene. Granted, some people may genuinely prefer this kind of cinematography but, as your own maths shows, as people can vote no higher than 10 but can vote all the way down to 1 a scene that 25% of people love love love and 25% of people hate hate hate will score very badly on a ratings system where scenes typically average 8-9. Edited to add: Lansky and his webmasters can clearly see the spread of voting so the idea a low score would fool them doesn't hold water. For example, the bottom rated scene features Leigh Raven but i think it is actually a pretty good scene. Her scene averages 7.9 and i would bet the score is so low because her head is shaved, she is tattooed and has a split tongue and that will cause some people to register an objection and vote a 1 or 2 on that alone. Clearly Leigh has not been given the "love" they have given to Abigail and her low rating (which i'd bet good money is weighted by a large number of protest scores) stands. My point is that Lansky et al have the ability to look at that score and see whether the 7.9 is genuinely as a result of a lot of middling scores or whether she scored a basket of ones and tens.
