People are kind of piling on Tushy right now. Personally, I'm not overly worked up about the choice of female talent, though I do think they're slipping on that to some extent. My issue is the male talent. Starting roughly one year ago, it's been Jean Val Jean over and over again. Now, I don't have anything against the guy personally. The girls seem to like him and I'm sure he's a heck of a guy. But, since about this time last year, something like half of Tushy scenes have this guy, including 4 of the last 6 updates. JVJ is all over Vixen.com as well. I think what's going on is that with three sites to maintain, Team Lansky is operating as a content factory. With three sites, each pushing out a release every 5 days, locking down the male talent makes a ton of sense. But JVJ just isn't that guy. Here's the thing, there are basically 3 elements that make for a good scene: 1) Technical Execution, 2) Female Talent, 3) Male Talent. Tushy is doing great on the first, not bad on the second, and terribly on the third. That's my opinion anyway. So what I'm doing right now is going through the Tushy library one more time to make sure I have what I want, and when I'm done with that I'm going to cancel my subscription, even though I'm only paying $9.95 per month. Of course, I'm just one guy and my monthly contribution is just a drop in the bucket, but I'm fairly certain I'm not the only one. If they fix the male talent issue, I'll probably come back.
^My monthly membership is also 10$ per month so basically I pay about a 1.50$ per update. For that reason my complaints may seem trivial or even whiny but in the end I'm still a customer who spends 100$ on the site. Now in no particular order. 1-Actually the Lansky team now has to produce content for four sites because they have created the new Blacked Raw site. Still not sure why because the only difference I find between that site and the original Backed is that one shoots in the day and the other at night. 2-Granted Jean has the most scenes at 24 this year but Manuel has 10, Mick Blue and Christian Clay both have 9 and Chris Diamond seems to be the more recent flavor of the year because he has 8 scenes since July. Personally Chris Clay is by far my favorite male performer for Tushy but Xander Corvus and to a lesser extent Chris Diamond are the only two male performers that I have a hard time watching. Xander because of his two lower lip piercings and Chris because of his tattoo. 3-I know I made a big stink about many of this years choice of female performers but ultimately it's not that I don't want to watch them on Tushy but that I would rather see past Tushy performers come back and work with a different male performer than in their first or possibly second scene. 4-I will finally add that I wouldn't mind having a few scenes involving a second female performer who doesn't actually have sex but it would have to be for very specific scenarios that can use that performer to enhance the scene and not the way they have done so up to now.
This year there have been 62 updates on Tushy so far. The great majority of the featured female performers are relatively new to the business and have far less anal credits than the fabulous ladies that you mentioned. As for those "veterans", all of them were obviously very welcome to the majority of Tushy subscribers, judging by the comments section. I belong to this majority and I'm perfectly happy with the mix of performers offered by Tushy. Your argument that "veterans" might be paid less than relative newcomers and therefore might be hired to save money is plain nonsense (to avoid a stronger word), considering the fact that Lansky's movies are among the top adult sites in subscriptions, DVD sales and on streaming sites.Having just watched the latest scene with Natalia Starr, I can assure you that Summer Day contributed a lot to make the scene as hot as it is. And I'm sure Summer will be back soon and get an equally intense anal treatment. I really feel sorrow for everyone so narrow-minded that he can't appreciate such an excellent, award-worthy Tushy scene as the latest one.
1-As a rule of thumb I avoid insulting other posters and I appreciate it when the favor is returned so although we disagree on some subjects. I don't think it makes me narrow minded. It just means we have differing views and that's good thing. 2-I also saw that scene so I would love to know why you thought that Summer's involvement increased the heat level. My opinion is that her presence didn't really add anything major to the scene because technically speaking it wasn't a real threesome. It was, as someone else said, an Adriano anal threesome where one of the woman is basically there for oral sex. In this case Summer kissed Jean a few times and Natalia as well but that's it except for the oral sex. 3-Now take that same scene but remove Summer and instead focus solely on Natalia. You have used up maybe 10-15 minutes to introduce the viewer to what is essentially the core of the scenario and you saved some money on a performer that was completely wasted in the scene because she was mostly there for oral sex. 4-I'd be thrilled if Summer comes back to Tushy because she is an amazing performer but I would prefer that she be alone with her partner. The reason is that for me chemistry is an important part of my enjoyment of porn. If the performers don't have it than no matter how good the rest of it is. The scene is likely never going to appeal to me. For that reason threesomes are often not very good because you need three people to have chemistry with each other and as I stated. It's already hard for two people to have chemistry. Now granted some performers are able to fake it and their performance are such that you can't tell if they have chemistry or not but it's unlikely that three people would all be amazing performer able to fake chemistry.

For me, the 'uniqueness' of the site was partly the high profile exclusives, and judging by some of the other posters on here I'm not alone in that. There will be people out there who will see the Chanel Preston update and think that they must subscribe to see her get the 'Lansky treatment'. You would be right if we were talking about fairly new to the industry performers who are still stretching their porn muscles but many of the women that Lansky has hired this year down fall under that category and ultimately there are only a few ways to shoot anal porn. That said I think that anyone who likes anal should join Tushy. Where you and I may disagree is whether it's worth staying long term or even returning all that often now.
