I am glad we dont discuss anymore how much porn must change to be a good place (and how everybody must wear condom in porn film), but now I wonder: Did that show drive up the number of girls knocking at porn-talent-scouts doors? I think it must have, because Belladonna mentioned she was payed 4000$ for a gangbang (big big money!). I think also because just I read in local newspaper about local tv-show on how bad morally Russian porn production in Moscow is. But newspaper-reporter went next day to 1 porn producer and already 15 girls were waiting in front of his office in the freezing cold. Reporter wrote they all wanted earn that money, but also stupid producer did not show up. Does anybody from inside industry know about ABC-effect? Please tell me. Thank you! [Link] |

Overall, I have seen quite a few directors scrambling to find "new" girls for all of the series that promote them. That seems to indicate that there might not be as much new talent as is needed to go around. Mind you, this is just what I have heard and what I seem to be seeing, it might not be the actual situation at all. And directors are "scrambling" to find new talent partly because there are SO many directors out there that there would have to be a lot more new girls than before to make it seem like there's as many girls as before. To me there is an incredible urge in people to muse about Belladonna, that ABC-show and the so-so-bad side-effects or porn. As an outsider I was really most shocked by those many threads about that show and Belladonna in it. Maybe in Russia we are more realistic about things, especially earning money. Such a show I am almost certain would have deterred 10 girls, but driven 100 into the agents hands, I guess (I have not seen the original show, though, just read about it). [Link] |

As I said, I didn't watch the segment on ABC. However in thinking further on it, it could be a very interesting subject if someone wanted to open a new thread for discussion on "Belladonna and ABC show, how did it affect you?". Just keep it nice. Diversity of opinions in a discussion is good and healthy. Attacking someone is counter-productive. (lkdg2832, after reading my own post I wanted to add - this was not meant to say you attacked anyone because you didn't, but a general statement about creating threads and posting in them.) edited to add comment.
