| Topper Member 18 Posts 9/01 |  Posted - Apr 6 2002 : 11:53AMHi all, I have just started using fivestar DVD now, and just got my first order from them, but it went through UK customs who passed it through, but whacked a £14 charge to pay! It was shipped in the USPS priority envelope like usual and I have never before had to pay customs charges. Anyone had similar experiances lately? or orders confiscated for no reason? Fivestar put on the envelope that it was DVD's value $88, but did not mark them as 'gift'.  [Link] |

Fortunately, I have only ever had one package opened and passed on without problems, in quite a number of orders now. There is an element of luck and a random factor in this because they just can't check all packages - so you may be lucky and get a high-value package through without charge, or then again you may be hit in the pocket!
