Don't get me wrong - I am absolutely all for making it far more difficult for underage people to see adult content.
But the whole saga on how the uk government went about it was utterly clueless and stunk of censorship.

The British government has announced that it will not be enforcing a new law that would have imposed age restrictions on porn online. Porn sites would have had to verify the age of the people accessing their sites, demanding credit card details or other ID.
