Whenever I eject a DVD from Real Player it causes several/most of the tabs on IE 7 to refresh. (Which is extremely annoying) I searched Google for quite a while, but didn't find anything.

Any ideas?

Does Real Player run as an Active X hosted in an IE window or something along those lines? I haven't used Real Player in 4 or 5 years.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. The same thing happens when I eject a DVD using Windows Media Player and Power DVD.

I haven't been able to repro this at all. I think something may have been clobbered in the x-mime associations.

edit: spelling

mental note:remember gave does != have always.
