Does anyone like making VCDs around here? I use Nero but I've been having some issues. If all the files are not the same resolution, that file won't play without being messed up. I can't remember this one program I had, but it would reset all the res so they matched up.

not a huge fan of VCDs myself, but when they work it's great. I've only done 2 in life, and if I remember well Easy CD Creator did a pretty good job. Nero is definetly not the best in that, I know from experience. But I guess it's a matter of experiencing to see how it turns out with different programs. I know I'd make some more often if I knew how to make them perfect everytime without wasting cds.

I have made half a dozen (or so) crude vcds (no menus) of from 15 to 30 minutes from digital video. I use Arcsoft Showbiz (the free version that came on my computer) and am quite impressed with the quality. The discs auto play on dvd players and repeat automaticly. I kep meaning to get a real editing program but this works well for me sofar.

I used Arcsoft myself for vcds acouple of times. I found that if i "created a vcd" all the video was corupted pixelised and jumped. But if i "created a dvd" but still burnt it onto a cd-r it worked fine.
