Hi. My wife and I have been shopping for a large vibrator, one that isn't cheap and set to self-destruct ten minutes out of the packaging. We own normal sized Lelos, which we think are amazing, but as far as we can tell they don't make anything that amounts to more than six inches of penetration. We need it to have a surface similar to what the Lelos have. Some cheapo vibes and latex dildos cause a burning sensation she does not like one li'l bit, and that is what was being used for the big one, which we call Excalibur (not too original, but it still cracks us up for some reason). Sorry if this is a redundant topic. I couldn't find one that looked close enough. But if anyone knows of truly large vibrators that are well built, high quality items, please let me know. Thanks.

I would look at Doc Johnson Sila-gel dongs and vibrators. I have never gotten the itchies, burning or yeastie beasties from these toys.
They do make Velvet Touch vibes that have the softer feel like Lelo but most of them top out at 7 inches.
I would go for this...

Or this....

Noticed you mentioned the Lelo there SSG, I almost bought this one today as a gift but due to the cost decided on more research, would be interested in your thoughts.
Apologies for the piggybacking GTS.

It's a nice toy but I don't trust the "waterproofing" mainly because of the way they recharge. I honestly think Lelo are overrated. I like Jimmyjane Form Series. The Form 6 is more expensive comapred to Mona but it has two motors which makes it a much more versitile toy.

Yep, the waterproofing didn't convince me either, I actually dismissed it as not really being waterproof for the reasons you said. I'll look into the Jimmyjane form series that you mentioned, thank you.

Piggybacking encouraged. I'd love to see a regular topic on this. I looked but didn't see one.
My wife loves the Lelos (we have two, but not the model Jonny mentioned). I've had one experience with the waterproofing issue. I was cleaning one in the sink and I dropped it. It submerged completely for about half a second before I got it out of there. I let it dry out for a few days, then tried to charge it and it wouldn't charge. A few days later I tried again and that time it did charge, and it has been fine ever since. We were so sick of buying new toys constantly. They would all break so quickly. Lelo is the first higher end brand we've bought and we don't regret it. We just wish they weren't all tiny and that they'd come up with some way to cover the controls during use. It's so easy to turn the thing down or change the pattern at the wrong moment. It's better than the ones that just have a huge cap you turn, but it could be much better than it is.
Having bought one vibe on SSG's recommendation already today, I believe I'm going to check out the Jimmyjane. Thanks again.

Sorry bout that. I try to get back to the threads as much as I can. I don't work at the shop anymore but I am busy with my family and have been getting more involved with the local kink scene. I didn't even think about Jimmyjane until Jonny Jay asked about Lelo Mona.

OK, did a little looking on the interwebs and I'm now down to these two: Lelo Elise 2 & the Jimmyjane form 6 (purple if it matters) however there's a £60 ($97) difference in price, is it worth it?
Does the Lelo have a secure waterproof flap over the rechargeable area and is the difference that noticeable?
Any info would be helpful, appreciate your replies SSG.

The Lelo does have a flap if you want to trust it. All Lelos have a plug in charger whereas the Jimmyjanes "sit" on a base charger. The connection comes from either a metal disc or band depending on the model. With Lelo, the older models have the flap and the newer models have a self-sealing hole the charger plugs into. If you tear it, you're screwed.
The only thing Lelo has that is comparable to the Form 6 is the new Elise 2.
It now has duel motors, completely imersible and has 8 functions instead of the Form 6's six modes. I still think the Form 6 is more powerful. Lelo has a one year warranty and Jimmyjane has a three year warranty. There is only about $5-10 difference between the Form 6 and Elise 2.

Thank you, just one last Q. Here in the UK the prices are massively different, the Elise 2 is approx $129.00 and the Jimmyjane is $226.00 (for the two models I posted above). I noticed you said the price difference was $5-$10, is there a website you know of with these prices as it maybe worth considering an import.
