I've heard a lot of conversation on these devices lately.
I recall a doctor once said that it isn't a good idea to use vibrators too often because if you do the nerve tissue becomes desensitized. Sort of like if you listen to loud music all the time your ears become desensitized and you have to turn up the volume even higher. So the doc's advice was to use vibrators sparingly so as to not desensitize the tissue.
Any thoughts on this?

DGF:
Generally speaking too much of anything is not good for you.
As for vibrators the same is true. You start off small and then You eventually need something a lot stronger.
You should use these devices sparingly.
Also you probably shouldn't use these devices for more than half hour at a time, not sure why they don't come with a warning. (do they think people don't last more than half hour?)
If you look at any other massage device they have a warning that states do not exceed half hour of use. Walk into your local Bed Bath and Beyond and take a look at the warning.
There is more than just Nerve getting desensitized. Too much use could cause muscle damage.
(ever see those adds for the electric pumps that will excersise for you? They are not good for you and Will never do what they claim!)
Hope that helps.

That's a really interesting point that I never thought of. I still don't have a vibe, but I am planning on getting one. I'll be sure to minimize the usage - I wouldn't want to damage one of my most important muscle sets

I had heard that before as well. I do have toys and do use them sparingly for just that reason.
Scarey thought ...
And your right RIP, I wonder why they do not come w/ warning labels? hmm
