Basically, all I'm looking to do is cut down the size of some of my HD downloads and maybe pull clips from a multiple files and stitch them together. I found a piece of software called Videopad that's reasonably simple to use, but when I choose the option to export to file, even with a small clip, it starts this 2+ hour process, which I guess means that it's re-encoding. So I think what I need is a video editor that will retain the existing encoding. Anyway, any advice would be appreciated. [Link] |

This is why the editing process is very quick and does not lead to any loss of video quality. This puts Machete in the category of lossless video editors. Also, it means that you do not need a powerful and expensive computer to edit your video material. After a file is edited and saved, it retains its original format." It is quick and easy to use. |
