I am not saying Vivid directors need to cast one or more Black male performers for every feature and non-feature production they make and release. While I understand the need to protect your product, it was extremely "heavy" and placed so far inside the frame. When you sell 3000 out the door these days, it is a blockbuster. Most companies are struggling to get out 1000 of a number, most are selling between 700 and 900. We have been very good about putting out great stuff, so we are getting titles with legs. Hannas House, Centerfolds Exposed, Raylenes Dirty Work etc have all done really well. [Link]

Your FUTURE contract girls should be free of BOTOX and COLLAGEN INJECTIONS. Between movie-length-plot "features" and plotless "gonzo", I think there is a NICHE for what I'll call "fantasies". Each DVD would feature a particular GIRL, and each SCENE would have a self-contained mini-plot with the girl in some sort of fantasy setup that leads to M/F sex. I was there for 18 years, and I thought I would/could never go, but I did, for almost 2 years, and I have to say i am glad I'm back. There is a time when everyone has to move on, when you get too comfortable in a position, you seem to mail it in after awhile. That happened to me. My absence made me realize I am grateful to be able to say i work for Vivid, to get up in the morning and give 100%, instead of the 50% I was giving. He will continue to make some movies for Vivid, but as an independent. I can promise you they will be much better than before. [Link]
