I've read in prior postings that Vivid edits their videos for DVDs. I wasn't ready to believe this until I watched 2 different versions of Beautiful starring the leggy French brunette N'J DeBahai. Granted the first viewing was on Playboy TV a while back but I was intrigued enough to rent it on DVD to watch the uncensored version. The DVD had a couple of sex scenes entirely eliminated including a very hot trio featuring Kaitlyn Ashley, and several edits to the storyline.
Question to Vivid - Is this intentional? I'm being sarcastic here but any company that chops off scenes from its videos for its DVD releases doen't deserve my money. I can't think of a single reason they would do something like this. Maybe someone here has a clue. I don't think they are trying to encourage VHS sales over DVD sales!

You won't find much support for Vivid here my friend. It has been discussed a lot here about how they chop up their dvds, delete scenes, whatever and no rep for them has ever responded to any questions posed here that I can recall. Other studios have posted their release schedule and any other tidbits they think we might be interested in and that shows class and concern for their customer base. I guess Vivids base doesn't post here because I don't recall hearing anything good about Vivid here except how they do have gorgeous contract starlets like Cassidey and Cheyenne Silver but they are losing Devon. As long as Vivid is making the kind of money they are which must be a lot they won't do anything to change their business practices which sucks for us but then again there is so much other great stuff being released from Private, Wicked, Anabolic/Diabolic, Evil Angel that Vivid I could care less about.

I gave up on Vivid long time ago. No quality at all. Vivid clearly does not have an idea what's DVD all about. Private is better at both quality and beauty.
