Click to expand I'm not in it for the paycheck though. For me it's more about gaining star power and respect industry-wide and being allowed and able to speak for myself. Things like a feature built around me and "Star" treatment for my first __ (fill-in-the-blank) scene really help build that notoriety for female performers. Having said that, I don't accept work BELOW my rate, but I'm also not going to purposely raise it 5x for a first-whatever scene. I'm in a contract dispute with my agent that's resulted in me not working for any major companies for close to two months now. All the money I've made in this time is from my custom clips and clips4sale store. Just goes to show that I'm not dependent on gonzo companies hiring me for stuff, but obviously I would like to work more, and will be very excited for things to get back to normal after the dust settles...
