With how often you're on these boards I would be surprised if you hadn't already seen one of my rants against being labeled BBW. I've said it ten million times. I'm a size 8, and the AVERAGE size of a woman in the US is 12. if that makes me BIG to you then, I'm sorry, there's something fucking wrong with your head! Can we just refer to women in porn (and in general) who are a size 8-12 as NORMAL, and to all the other girls who 4s and 6s as SMALLER than average? Because that is the honest truth. I've always had a career ban on shooting BBW porn. I've never knowingly been hired for a single BBW labeled release in my entire career. BTW, Before somebody posts and says "Well, then why are you in Big Girls are Sexy #1 and #2?" Here is my story behind that: For BGAS #1, I was informed that the DVD series was about girls who are tall and have big tits. Big, as in taller than average and with bigger tits than average. But not Big Beautiful Women. "Sure, I'll do that, as long as it's not going to be categorized as a BBW release," I said. I was assured that it would NOT be a BBW release. When the DVD came out, the distributor categorized it as a BBW release based on the description text on the back of the DVD. I contacted the studio and director to complain, and said that I felt misled and like I'd been lied to. They apologized. When I was called to do another scene for BGAS #2, I said I would only do it if they agreed to change the wording on the back of this dvd release so that the distributor wouldn't automatically put it in the BBW section. They said they'd do so, so based on that agreement I accepted the booking. When BGAS #2 came out, once again it was put in the BBW category. I was pissed off. Hence, I declined to shoot for the third volume of the series. It may seem to some fans, or to BBW performers, like I have a bit of BBW hate going on. NOT true! It's quite the opposite. What I am trying to do is STRETCH the boundaries of what is considered a "normal" performer in this industry. I cannot do that if companies want to hire me only for a "big girl" release. That is not okay with me, not when I'm even smaller than the average woman at home, the wives of so many men who are watching porn. Every day I get emails from couples, or just the wife half of a couple, thanking me for doing what I do. Guys tell me that their wives will finally watch (and enjoy) porn with them because unlike many other porn stars, I mirror the normal, average body type of a woman in the real world, not the imaginary world of porn. Women email me to let me know that they haven't been able to get into watching mainstream boy/girl porn because they're turned off by the teens and thin girls with huge fake tits, and they find it refreshing to see someone like me performing in front of the camera. The fact that I get such emails regularly tells me that I am doing something right, and helping to change the perception of what is a normal sized woman in this industry, even if just a little. But I can't really do that if my own "fans" continue to want to marginalize, "niche"-ize and fetishize me by continually wanting to label me as a BBW, implying that my body is something out of the ordinary or less normal than the multitude of other women in this industry with various body types who are larger than a size 6 (the porn industry average) but are consequently NOT labeled as BBW, perhaps because their thighs or tits are smaller, or they're shorter, therefore giving them a more "porn average" sized appearance.
