I am currently a member at Wanted List but am considering a switch to Bush DVD since they have more titles. My biggest issue with Wanted List is I have a healthy quene and all but two are on a short wait. (The two are on a long wait) Does Bush DVD have the same problem? I have the 8 DVD plan. I have one DVD from a previous shipment, the next one was shipped on April 1st and the third was shipped yesterday and should be here in a few days. So I "have" 3 DVD's and everything else is on a short wait. -BD

So you have 5 due to ship when something becomes available? If so, that sucks.
I just checked my BushDVD queue, I have 80 titles (a mix of mostly new releases and some from the last year) in there and have 11 at a "Now" status with the rest being "Short Wait" plus a few at "Long Wait".
How healthy (numberwise) is your queue? With Bush I've never had a time that something not ship because nothing was available in my queue. When I just have 55 or 60 in there I know they have dipped pretty deep down the list to ship though.
It probably is a little better than 1/8th availability since I've also logged in to my Bush account in the morning hours (west coast time between 10 and 11 am) and there are lots of "now" statuses as they have been checking in the mailed returns.

I'm at just over 100 and everything is still on short wait except for two which are a long wait. -BD

It's finally happened. My entire queue of 58 movies is at a "short wait" or "long wait" status.
What's Wanted List again?

I'm a big fan of Bush - but if you're looking for an alternate I'm also a fan of Sugar DVD and Adult DVD Empire. All three companies have been ADT supporters for years and great to work with.

At Bushdvd, long wait means they don't have the movie and they're very unlikely to get it again. You may as well just remove those titles from queue. Short wait means all copies are rented by other customers and when one is returned you or someone ahead of you will get it. A high percentage of the short wait titles do become available but a few never do. I have no complaints about Bushdvd provided you understand that long wait means forget about it. Just stick to short wait and available titles.
Wanted list is pretty hopeless. The only status that means anything there is "available." Short wait really means it's never going to be available.
xrentdvd has the biggest selection and good availability of titles. No complaints about them.
Adultdvdempire is another one where short wait means you're never going to get that title, but if the titles you want show as available then they're a good option.
Sugardvd has a good selection and good availability. No complaints about them except that their checked out status rarely changes back to available. But only a small percentage of titles show as checked out so most things are available.
