I don't know where else to post this, so here goes.

I have not recieved a DVD in over 2 weeks. I sent back my 3 dvd's and they never sent me a conformation saying they received them, so after 7 days i reported them missing, still no responce from them. They have not responded to any of my Emails, and they have a "live help" section, that is always unavailable. It seems inpossible to contact them.

I'm trying to work this out, I'd like to remain a member, but I'm about to cancel, just bcause of the shitty customer service at Wantedlist.

Any recomendations from anyone ?

Are you sure they can get email through to you? AOL has been horrible with blocking sites lately. AOL is blocking "porn" companies without even giving users the ability to specify they want to receive the emails. I'm not saying that this is happening with wantedlist but it's completely possible.

Have you tried calling them?

TVC15, I don't know if Drew is right about AOL/e-mail problems, but my experience with WL was far less than satisfactory.

They give new meaning to the term "Barely Legal" IMO.

I have received Emails from then in the past with special offers, but I still haven't heard anything from them on this problem. I didn't see a phone number listed anywhere, but I doubt that would help anyway. I wish I had read Fatalbert's comments before I signed up with them. I've been a member since June, and haven't had any problems till now.

You can get their number from their [invalid URL removed]ADT WantedList Info page.

Thanks for the phone number. I tried it, left a message, still no reply, not by phone, not by email or the "live help" section of thier website. I finally cancelled my account with them today. They have a great selection, but their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.

I don't think I have ever seen someone post anything positive about wantedlist.com.

Wantedlist is shitty, I had similiar problems, they never answer their emails and they dont have a customer service line. I switched to BushDVD and I have found them to be much quicker. Funny thing is BushDVD is in San Diego and I get DVDs faster than wantedlist which is in Van Nuys. I live in Reseda.

I agree with other replies.

I used to use WantedList, but dropped them for all the reasons you state.

Funny, their advertisements and billing went through just fine and on time.

But movies took FOREVER to turn around. And, I know someone that works 2 blocks from the address, so I experimented with mailing to them at the same time I'd return DVDs. The friend would get the mail the next day. WantedList sometimes wouldn't credit my account for up to 6 days. Also, even after it showed all movies were back in, it would then take a few days to ship back out.

Dropped them like a hot potato.

I'm dropping them too. Signed up about a month ago and it was great. 2 day shipment and 2 days back. Then noticed one day one title took about 5 days to get entered in. Emailed no response. Then things were good again (I had upped the number by 1). Now its at a standstill. Two are listed as out still when they were sent to me nearly 10 days ago (returned probably 8 days ago). So I'm canceling as I'm sure they throttle. Going to try bush for the trial even though I'm on the east coast and see how that is.

ADE may be next.

theman85, I love ADE(mpire)'s site & inventory, but I had a very bad experience in '05 with their monthly rental plan. Don't know if it was just some unusual glitches, but they got absolutely nothing right and I dropped them after a month.

I've already posted above on WL (bleah).

I've had Xrent for a couple of years and am generally satisfied, although turnaround times are a bit spotty now and then.

I've heard nothing but good about Bush, though, although I haven't yet tried them.

So it looks like either Bush or Xrent would be reasonably low-risk options for you.

I rent from adultdvdempire.com and I have had nothing but great service from them. I have been with them almost a year, and I have noticed no throttling. The total turnaround time is usually 5 days to VA. They give you 10 percent off the plan rate every month, and every 4 or 6 months they send you an extra rental for free. I have tried the others and nothing compares to ADE. Although ADE does not have a free trial period, they are very reliable and have several ways to contact them.

ems, like I said, I don't know if it was just a one-time glitch, but ADE did happen to screw up everything during that one month (Sept. or Oct. '05). I had a 4-disc plan, and got like 2 or three discs from them during that month, with a couple taking 2 weeks to show up (and a couple never showing up).

So I'm not saying they're no good -- just reporting on the problem I had. They do have a great, informative site.

dropped wantedlist. Currently with sugardvd finished trial sucessfully and so far so good. Wonder if they throttle.

I also joined bush but had a problem. posting that in another thread.
