Hi
I bought a Logitech 400 yesterday.
link
It supposedly has some kind of facial/motion tracking abilities but for some reason they are absent for me.
The thing woks fine and the software installed with no problems.
Is this a bullshit feature that isn't properly implemented or am I just doing it wrong.
Maybe they meant I am supposed to move the camera around myself.
I am happy with it otherwise, just confused about if I am using it wrong.
Any advice? Is it defective or are they claiming features that weren't properly implemented. I have seen both things happen with hardware and I am never surprised anymore.

That's a pretty old model from Logitech, circa 2002/2003 I think. Not sure CQ; maybe you need to upgrade your drivers/software to get access to those features?

I don't know but you should buy a couple of those little tiny spycams and do "Hamstercam" videos for all your friends here at ADT.

That is a great idea RP: Except you don't know hamsters too well.
They sleep about 25 hours a day. you would be bored with a ham cam I think

Well, you'd have to obviously cut out a lot of boring stuff. I've had hamsters before. They do sleep a lot but they can get pretty active at times. Mine usually waited until I went to bed.

Mine too, they have been exiled to the bathroom at night so I can actually rest. I swear they wait until I am ABOUT to fall into a nice sleep.

We've got a cat and a dog. We _HAD_ a hamster. My daugthers were still young and took good care of him. But one night, they forgot to lock the door on top of the Habitrail and the cat got on top of there and realized he could reach inside.
Next morning as I came downstairs to start coffee, I found the remains. I had to trump up a story about how the hamster got "loose" somehow and we even set up some cute little home-made safe traps to try and lure him back. The girls never did learn the real story as they loved the cat as much as the hamster.
My son is now getting old enough to want one. I think we'll wait until the cat dies first.
