Okay, rather than cause controversy, I'm wondering if somebody from Zero Tolerance would like to comment on "Black in The Saddle"? I was truley disapointed for many reasons. You have put out many a quality pick, but if you don't like IR, or don't know what people look for in tallent, you might do better keeping low quality works off the market.
Haven't seen this. Only have seen a few Zero Tolerance titles. Which I liked. So why was this bad. Bad casting of black males? Is this really a Feature porn?? You put this Topic in feature?

Yes, this is a premiere title. What makes it so bad is the fact that the male tallent in this film was 3rd tier at best. In addition more than one of the "Black" actors was a shade lighter than a white man with a tan. Zero T. has some hot, high quality stuff on the market, but this wasn't it. I know IR doesn't get much attention here, but movies like this one keep the demand for such titles lite.
Lauren Phoenix give a great performance, and Sophia, and Delilah give a worthy effort, but the three other females don't seem to be over enthused to be there. Maybe that's what happens when you pay the tallent before the shoot.
All I know is other company's with less tallented people on thier staff are putting out better IR works. Zero T. may want to get some better black male tallent, and find women who are intersted in IR, not just a paycheck. I applaude them for throwing thier hat into the ring, but they need to make sure that it's because they want quality product out there, not because black is the color of the month.

When I look at the boxcover it sure looks like Gonzo stuff to me. What was the plot? Anyways, IR around these parts is a touchy subject. IR fans seem to go irate when they don't get what they want. You are right it is nice ZT put out a IR line. I am sorry that you didn't like it. Sounds like a casting issue. Hopefully we can hear some more from other as they see it. I see it just came out recently.
This is not a feature by any stretch of the imagination. It's a basic wall to wall sex flick. For our first effort in the genre, I didn't think it was all that bad but I'm sorry that you were disappointed. I agree with you however that the male talent in this movie could have been stronger. I wasn't involved with the production of this particular movie so I don't know many of the details but I'm sure we will improve with future IR titles.
This video has also been discussed a little here: Post
I havne't seen it, but I don't understand the complaint about the female talent. Alicia Rhodes, Lauren Phoenix, Sophia, Jasmine Lynn, and Delilah is a good cast. I don't know about the other girl since I've never seen her.
I haven't seen this yet so I can't comment on the talent but what makes this release so important is it's the first studio release to hit the street that features Jasmine Lynn doing IR. The poster says her performance wasn't very enthusiastic. I wonder if JL had second thoughts during the scene about her IR decision?
I watched most of Black In The Saddle because of this thread, and I can say that I thought it was as good as any other gonzo out there. I haven't seen any other "inter-racial" only titles, so I can't really compare it on that basis, but I really don't understand the complaints, other than a difference of opinion. I thought Jasmine's scene was good and enthusiastic. Lauren's scene was good and Alicia Rhoades was wild!
Anyway, I'll try to finish it and get a review up by tomorrow.
Thanks F5 I haven't seen the whole thing, but all the guys are black, if that's what you're asking. And from what I've seen so far, they all did a good job.
Lauren Phoenix
Alicia Rhoades (good trash talker, lol!)

Agent Q, thanks for your reply. I appreciate the fact that you could post a non confrontational response. I really didn't pay attention to who directed this title, but I would have to question thier ability to capture the heat of IR. Thier is a difference between races. Not saying that one is better than the other, but thier is a difference. Thier is also a difference in IR. I am a black man, and up until I saw Booty Juice. I preferred an all white cast to an all black cast. But IR has always been my passion.
Another poster mentioned that IR can be taboo here. In the limited time I have been here I would say that's true. But saying people get irrate is stereotypical. Now if you are allowed to freely discuss your subjects, and mine are censored or muffled we could have issue.
If IR is not your bag, so be it, but this title did not raise, clear or even meet the bar of todays IR porn titles.
Many of the females stars were popular, but it doesn't meen the scene was hot. Like I said, Laurens scene was the type of IR work I'm used to. Delilah, and Sophia were also of that genre. I wasn't impressed with the other girls. I was also not impressed with the male tallent.
For me it's no mystery why the faces of the males tallent was left off half the scenes.
I want to thank Agent Q. Even though this was not his title, I believe it's clear if it was, things would have been on a much higher level. My biggest concern was the fact that this was nowhere near the calibur of film that we have all come to expect from Zero T.

I didn't mean to stereotype all IR fans. All I meant was that there have been very heated discussions about IR that have lead down a slippery slope. That's all. I for one like it all...color doesn't matter to me. Black, White, Yellow, whatever. IR fans here just demand more product and better IR product. I hope the studios listen up to you.
