Diet for the Universal Human: eat less, exercise more.
Obesity comes from a lack of exercise and poor diet, like fast food. You can avoid that by eating less and exercise. If you want to be rail thin, make sure you have the right genes.
The alternative is to smoke or take controlled substances, but I don't recommend either.
Just work out and dont drink soda, cutting down soda alone can help i have lost about 20lbs since march watching what i eat and doing anal and exercising, lol living on the third floor of an apartment complex can help too, lol.
That won't make you loose weight. If you don't eat healthy you also loose muscle mass which leaves you looking even softer and chubbier. The only way is a complete change of life style. Get on a healthy diet and exercise a lot (weights and cardio). I know what I'm talking about. Right now I'm working out almost everyday, I do cardio 5 times a week for an hour. It is hard but that's the only way that will make you loose weight. Don't expect to loose weight fast. Give it a few month. It's all about motivation, the consistency and how much you want it.
i did an hour workout today and im eating alot of salads i hope that help me lose some wight but im going to do alot more tomrow i think and im going to try not to eat at my mom house on the weekend ( even thow i love mexican food )
Just salad is not a healthy diet. You need a lot of protein, fiber and also some carbs. Leave out stuff that's high in empty sugars like candy, chocolate and soda/juice. No fast food, no pizza, no cookies, no alcohol but lean meat, fish, vegetables, egg whites etc. drink green tea to boost your metabolism
You can't live off salad for a longer period of time. If you want to loose more than just a pound or two you need to give it time. And your body needs nutrition - just salad doesn't feed your muscles enough energy to burn the stored fat.
Click on this link and read about how much it actuallt takes to burn a pound of stored body fat.
Katja has good dietary advice there. Its not just the amount of calories you eat, but the nutritional make-up. Simple sugars and excess fats are out. So that means most commercially processed foods aren't good. It isn't just fast foods, but convenience foods from the supermarket that have a lot of both. You especially want to eliminate saturated fats and transfats. Both are solid at room temperatures. Saturated fats are basically animal fats. This isn't just stuff like bacon, but also butter (and whole milk). Transfats are mono- and polyunsaturated fats that have been bonded with extra hydrogen to act like saturated fats. Recent studies suggest they may be worse for you than saturated fats. This is found in a lot of chips, cookies (Keebler Elves are Evil), and other pre-processed foods. It is done so they can claim there are no saturated fats. Margarine and shortening another. Movie (and microwave) popcorn is a big source of it. Supermarket muffins are insideous.
You want something sweet, eat an apple or orange. As Katja points out, egg whites are a good source of animal protien with no fat. In your vegetables, the simple rule is color in your diet. Green leafy vegetable are a good way to start, but different bell peppers are a good way to make sure you get what you need in your diet. For bread and starches, think whole grains. This means cereals too.
It takes time to see the results of eating and exercising right, but the result looks better.
Believe it or not, a lot of people don't loose weight when they start eating better and less. Here's an example of what a lot of people do: They're eating 2000 calories a day of really shitty food. They decide to diet, so then they start eating 1000 calories of good food - fruits, vegetables, fish, etc. Chances are they wont loose weight anytime soon, if they loose any at all, and here's why:
You're body is an amazing thing. It adapts. If you just go from eating 2000 calories worth of shitty food to 1000 calories of good food, after about a week or so, your body will get used to it, and then where do you go? Are you really going to drop down to 500 calories a day? Not if your smart. Here's what you do:
Make the transition to good food. Katja and croy gave perfect examples of what to eat and what to avoid. The next step is very simple: GRADUALLY drop your calorie intake each week from WHAT IT IS RIGHT NOW. If you're looking to drop 10-or-so pounds, I'd drop 100 calories a week till you hit your goal. So if your eating 2200 right now, drop down to eating 2100 of GOOD FOOD. Avoid too many carbs. If you eat them, eat anything brown - brown rice, brown pasta, etc. Eat tons of fruit. It flushes the system.
Most physicians say the average person on a healthy diet only looses about 1 - 2 pounds a week. Don't expect miracles and don't get impatient. Listen to Katja's advice on working out. Good luck.
I can't believe I typed all of this for what is most likely a fat man stuffing his face with Cheetos while laughing maniacally at all the people here who actually believe that this is a girl who's looking to get into porn.
How was that for a run-on sentence!
UGH! I hate these 'Edited by' things on the bottom of the page!
The other thing is that muscle is denser than fat, so an equivalent volume weighs more. So while a person can get more fit, they may actually gain weight. But that is good weight. They would look slimmer and lose weight first.
ok one more qustion and i know this is a dum one but if im on a dite can i drink coffe i the morning im willing to give it up if i have to but dont know if its good or bad
While doing your edits you can edit out the previous "edited by". That way you only look dumb once .
Huh? What? No, I have no idea how I know that little bit of trivia, why do you ask .

Maria,
Coffee is one of the lesser worries that you have in your diet.
With all due respect, you have asked the question and received some good answers. (You can print them out.)
You have also been in the chat room asking the same question, and received similar answers. There comes a time to stop talking about it, and do it. You have the information.
I'm shutting this thread down. Feel free to come back and report to us on the success of your weight loss and exercise program.

Each time you edit a post, the system will add an 'edited by'. However if it's the second or third time, you can delete previous 'edited bys' so there is only one in the post.
