So I'm lying there trying to convince my body that it really is an hour later when I start thinking about culture in porn. I know, you raincoaters are thinking, "what the f**k is he talking about, culture," but think about it. Why do the women in Japanese porn just lie there with their eyes closed, like they're pretending it's all happening to somebody else? Then, on the other extreme, in German videos, the couples have more dialog during sex than a Shakespeare one-acter. Why do Italian vids always have multiple partners, or cut between multiple scenes? Do the guys have no staying power, or are they just bored by one-on-one sex? Then there's American vids. Apparently we like our women to be "present" and account for themselves with occasional mono-syllabic indications of pleasure, but the guys better not say too much or the ladies will discover what idiots they are and kick them out of the sack.
Of course, there are the exceptions; Jasmin St. Claire ("Grudge fuck me, you bastard!") comes to mind.
