I'm into muscle cars. Classic, and modern. There are plenty of things more refined, some things faster, but nothing, absolutely nothing sounds like a well tuned, American built V8. I drive a Mustang that I put countless hours, and ridiculous money into. I spend more time tweaking it, than driving it. Just spent 2 months swapping the motor, transmission, and suspension. It's a labor of love, and the pride of building your own unique machine is a feeling that can't be bought.

If you ever see me in a rice rocket with a huge wing, Altezza tail lights, underglow neon lights, silly body kits, and an exhaust that sounds like a can of pissed off bees, just kill me. I humiliate these 4 banger ricers all the time. 8 > 4.

[invalid URL removed]Installing Long Tube Headers. (Major pain in the ass)

Gonna have to pull the motor (again) to swap out the headers before I get smogged. Long tubes are not legal in the Peoples Republic of California.

I went to California Speedway Labor Day week end for NASCAR races, and sat in row 3, right in front of the pit exit! Those drivers are AMAZING athletes, with other worldly reflexes, and stamina, and courage. The cars are 5.7 liter v8 beasts, that rev at 9,300rpms, and produce 800 horsepower at the rear wheels. Driving home, I felt inadequate. :-(

If you ever get the chance go to one of the NHRA national events and walk through the pits when the Top Fuel drivers are warming up their motors.(Be sure to bring earplugs and don't stand close to the exhaust, nitromethane fumes do not play nice with nasal membranes.)

The funniest thing about those types of cars, Tyler, is that they apply the most expensive "junque" to a car that is a total piece of shit.

You know people haven't any common sense when they install exhaust system that's worth more than the car!!

I love my little mustang even if it is only a v6, I got it because I can drive fast and topless. So glad Tyler has the same taste as I.

Very tasteful choice Katja ! A way to express yourself. Just like Kylie Ireland, who drives an Audi S4.

The navigation systems aren't so stupid when you actually have a street address to plug in.
Seems when you type in a street name that literally goes on for 200 blocks, the car doesn't give you an exact location to drive to.

I have the Infinity also but I got the FX 35 because I am a speed junky, didn't need the extra power. Used to have a Mercedes but my brother crashed it. Oh how I miss my baby. Thinking about getting a CLK next year.

I drove a non-touring 2005 before buying my Infiniti G35X... I couldn't live with the harsh ride. (It was so harsh I was miserable driving it) Is the touring edition any more comfy?

Yeah, my downside for what I did to my car is I get 15 city, 19 highway mpg, and I commute every day to Porn Valley from the other side of the hill(think 101/405 interchange at 4pm). And I have it tuned for the highest octane only. I fill up every other day just about.

BTW, nice to finally work with you Dana!

The ironic thing about my rinky dink hybrid is that, during rush hour, it is one of the fastest single passenger vehicles on the road, because drivers of the Civic, Insight & Prius hybrids are permitted in the Carpool lane of the Long Island Expressway with no additional passenger required.

Therefore, I get home from work 15-30 minutes faster than people driving the most powerful vehicles on the road do.

LOL ... smackdown!

My car is the F train. My other car is the Rockport. It cost me $90 new about 4 years ago and still going strong!

If I was to buy another car and could buy anything, I'd really love a circa '87 Mercedes Benz convertible. But that is probably really impractical. IN fact, when I have the $15k I could spend on a car, I will probably just get new hi-fi equipment. And some new furniture.

Well the suspension is a bit stiff. And to each his own. I guess it could be a softer, but with 300HP I'm as happy as c clam. lol

Perhaps because the LIE is probably bumper-to-bumper @ rush hour!? (Oops, read that Bill! Nice incentive to use the HOV lanes, esp. while everyone else is idling! I wonder if DC has such an incentive?)

Smart folks, esp. in these times of high gas prices!

Tyler, be good to your "baby", get yer'self a more economical work vehicle man!! Shit, my Laredo gets better mileage than that!

Olander, nothing wrong with a Camry, my cousin (who owns his own business outside of Cleveland) swears by them.

Virginia highways in and out of DC had it first. They've had this in place since before I bought my hybrid in '03. NY just enacted the law this past March.

I rented a sea foam green Ford Focus (auto transmission) while I was swapping motors, and I wanted to stick my head in an oven. Drove like a lawn mower with asthma.

My scene with Charlotte Stokely in Joey Silvera's Hell Cat's 8 was one of my personal favorites off the top of my head. Joey is an artist. My scene in Vivid Alt's Rebelle Rousers with Paige Morgan, and Misty May is 30 minutes of kinetic energy. The director, Winky, let me do whatever the hell I wanted, and I went DEFCON 4 on those two beauties. Adam & Eve's "Nina Hartley's Guide to Foot Worship" (not sure if that's the correct title) with Adrianna Nicole was excellent, and should be out soon.Almost anything David Luger has shot me in for RLD, or now for Mach 2 is a good bet. Were a great team, and we have a kind of shorthand communication. Of course the scene I just shot for Vena Virago in Vivid' Alt's Eastside Stories with Rebecca Linares will be a good one when it comes out.

Oh, and here is the Kimber-->[invalid URL removed]1911 .45 ACP....served our country well.

A couple of days ago I had the option to test-drive the 350Z (with 301 PS/HP).
I was really surprised, because the reputation of the car is not the best in Europe.
But the sound was great and no complaints bout speed, brakes, gear change and chassis!

The minus points:
Fuel consumption is too high
The steering wheel is adjustable in the height only

Good car!

Can not wait to drive and test the new Audi TT…
