The best comes from Elegant Angel IMO. Jules Jordan's volume of releases is quite impressive, but I still go more for the less frequent, more 'professional' New Sensations/Digital Sin films. Digital Playground used to be one of my favorites, but they use odd filters that darken or tint scenes to an uncomfortable level in many films. Plus, their online presence is in full disarray and they seriously violated their customers' trust. Wicked's use of condoms is a turn off. Vivid's features are must-haves. Brazzers is my favorite website, with Naughty America coming in second, and I canceled my RK subscription after last year. Pretty much covers it.
You should add Zero Tolerance Entertainment to the list. They've been a top gonzo studio since the early to mid 2000s. Piracy has forced them to scale back on the type of content they shoot, however. You're likely to see this with all studios except Brazzers, as they profit from piracy by helping to facilitate it.
Fair enough I like most of the Companies u mentioned and yes I agree Wicked Pictures do put out good quality Featurettes on thier DVDs but the Mandatory Condom use is a Turn off, Digital Playground Films arent diverse enough I dont like the fact that they dont have a diverse genre of Flicks and they dont use a diverse Pool of Actors, I love Vivid thier Quality of DVDs has gone down a bit and I dont think they are up to par with Wicked and Vivid in that respect but they do have good features and diverse Actors,I am not that familiar with Elegant Angel other than the fact that L.T. directs a lot of thier Flicks,I love Mercenary Pictures I like a lot of the Actors that company uses and I am a Fan of Lexington Steele, I like Reality Kings mainly cause I am a huge Fan of Voodoo. So u say Digital Playground Darkens thier tent?? I always known Digital Playground films to be top notch in visual productions just watch Pirates.
Video-X-Pix's Platinum Elite series is as good as it gets, imo. They are easily #1 in my book in every department: the films, extras, and even packaging. Amazing stuff. For releases produced in the present, Wicked and Elegant Angel are my main companies, but I also like selective product from Evil Angel (pegging and TS releases, and the Raw series). Reel Queer Productions release really cool stuff too.

Video-X-Pix and Alpha France are the best for classic features. For modern-day features I'd go with New Sensations/Romance. Elegant Angel is my favourite gonzo company by far and I'm looking forward to them doing more features every now and then as well. Manuel's work for Evil Angel is also something I'm always into checking out. Eddie Powell's gonzo work for Digital Sin is also interesting, as is his feature work for NS/Romance.
1. Wicked- Great company. Condoms only films. Great to decent films with average sex scenes generally. Dvd's have a lot of contents with many many features. Vivid- Great company. Condoms optional company, well before the new rules. Great to decent films with great to average sex scenes. Many exra features on films, but could be better IMO. Digital Playground- Great company. Mostly condom-free, again not sure about new rules though. Great to decent films. Many extra features, but could e better. Jules Jordan- Top-notch company, no condoms generally. Great sex generally. Great extra features generally. Mercenary Pictures-Top notch gonzo company. No condoms generally. Great sex generally. Many many extra features, with bonus sex scenes sometimes added. Red Light District- don't follow them much anymore, but never had any issues with them. Anabolic/Dialobic- Haven't followed them much since Jules Jordan left, but always seemed top-notch to me.
Best in porn depends on what kind of porn you like. Evil Angel and Elegant Angel have been winning AVN awards for best anal sex in films such as 'Asa Akira is Insatiable' and 'Big Wet Asses 16'. But if anal sex isn't your thing, then other porn studios might be best for you.
When it comes to movie HD quality, I must say 1) Brazzers 2) RealityKings & Jules Jordan 3) Evil Angel deliver the best 1080p with high camera quality, 4) Elegant Angel has of course good 1080p quality but as most of their scenes have girls fucked on white furniture or blankets, its non reasonable to comment more about quality comparison.

the Discriptions u gave are right on point but one thing I dont understand is that if Wicked Pictures is Condom Mandatory why is it that they are one of the top Porn Studios right up there with Vivid? a lot of people say that Condom films dont sell thats why Porn Stars are tryin to fight that Condom Law in L.A but Wicked has been using condoms for there films but yet they are still selling so what is it that they are doing to make thier films sell with Condoms? I also notice that Vivid doesnt put out and Blue Ray Discs for some reason, Digital Playground has a huge Blue Ray Collection but Vivid doesnt.
Elegant Angel is clearly the top studio. Digital Sin / New Sensations - used to be one of my favorite companies up until about two or three years ago not sure what happened, but the product is not the same. Manuel Ferrara - also deserves a honorable mention, Raw series is definitely top notch!
While this was my initial thought as well, I started thinking about the better performances by the stars I enjoy. Lately, I have truly enjoyed the efforts of SWEET SINNER as well as FILLY FILMS (the classic girl-girl I enjoy are TRIANGLE, LESBIAN PROVOCATEUR and GIRLFRIEND FILMS. However, lately GIRLFRIENDS seem focused on older/younger women pairings and solos shoots neither of which enjoy I also fall into the classic categories of the big companies. I love many of the products of EVIL ANGEL, particularly those directed by Belladonna, Rocco, Manuel F, Jay Sin, etc., NEW SENSATIONS, DIGITAL PLAYGROUNG, WICKED, VIVID (though not many of the new ones). I have to say I am a fan of JULES JORDAN FILMS even the ones that are subsets (like the Dare Dorm series). Since I am a huge fan of the golden age of porn, anything by CAL VISTA, CALLABERO, SUZE RANDALL, VCA, VCX, etc Five to ten years ago, there was no beating PLATINUM X PICTURES for hardcore smut but RED LIGHT DISTRICT came close.

They generally do a good job of having the plot and pace of the movie serve the sex scenes. A huge plus is that they have a stable of very hot contract girls. The downside of DP is it's the same performers over and over. I only buy DP movies about 3 times a year because of this. Best vingettes BRAZZERS. I like BRAAZERS because their vingettes are clever and the locations look real and the production values are solid. Plus the women are all usually great looking and tend to be my type. My only complaint about BRAZZERS is they use the same guys too often for my tastes. The guys they use are good but I just see to much of certain ones. Best Gonzo JULES JORDAN studios. The JJ studios put out a very slick product with great production values and usually have the biggest porngirls. Their concept movies are ones that I like because they focus on big boobs, anal big butts, IR, etc... The downside is the scenes tend to be longer than they need to be. I think over over 40 minutes is too long. And most of those movies weren't worthy of always being a 2 disc set. I'm glad they're only doing that for special occasions more often these days. The JJ studios are great at what they do but it would be nice to see a bit more creativity from some of them other than here's a sexy girl posing for 10 minutes and the guy just shows up and the sex starts. Best hardcore Gonzo EVIL ANGEL studios. Harder stuff, more variety, wider range of women. Most of the EA stuff isn't as slick as the JJ stuff but most of it is "harder". EA has a nice mix of styles while the director at JJ tend to look more similar. EA also has a nice mix of well known American porngirls as well as Euro-girls. I can't think of any real downside to EA. Some of the directors aren't usually my cup of tea but there's no one thing that I think the EA line does wrong/bad overall. Best IR company WESTCOAST PRODUCTIONS. Not great but solid production values. Nice vigettes. Solid male performers. They often get great white and black female performers. Nice variety of themes. No downside comes to mind. LT's stuff at ELEGANT ANGEL is about as good but for me LT falls a bit short because he's always the male talent and even though he's great it's nice to see other male performers. But I totally understand why LT does things the way he does. Best looking movies BLUEBIRD FILMS. Best movies starring one male player LT from ELEGANT ANGEL. Lexington Steel was the man but when Lex does a scene it's all about Lex. with LT it's all about making the women the star. Manuelle F. is okay but is a bit over the top and distracting for me.

the last Category I have to disagree with , the Best Movies starring one male player I would have to go with Lexington Steele since he is more attractive to look at than LT, I am female so I am focused on the Men and LT is not good looking.
To each his/her own. As I stated I like that DP movies don't have complex or overthought out plots or plots that don't have a sexual element to them. More importantly, they don't drag out the non-sex scenes. I just watched some of MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS and the non-sex stuff just flowed by quickly and then it was on to the sex. When I've tried to watch the VIVID or WICKED stuff I'm usually very bored by the non-sex plot and it seems to last too long and usually not be the least bit sexy.
I'm a guy. The only time I care about a guys looks is when he's so ugly or strange looking it's distracting. For example I find Ron Jeremy so big, old and distracting his performance takes away from the scene for me. The same with Evan (Spyder Jones) and his tattooos and odd look. I don't think anyone thinks LT is a better performer than Lex but when you watch a Lexington Steel performance it's all about how Lex is giving it to the women...in other words it's all about Lex. Nothing wrong with that but with LT it's usually all about the women. Also, I think the women prefer working with LT and it shows. More passion, kissing and such rather than Lex's jackhammer approach. Lastly, LT gets more women I like to work with him than Lex does in his own movies. The stuff Lex does for Jules Jordan is event worthy sometimes but what Lex does on his own for MERCENARY PICTURES falls far short of the stuff LT does for ELEGANT ANGEL in my opinion. The women all seem to like Manuel Ferrara but for whatever reason he doesn't seem all that special to me. Strong performer but he just doesn't click with me in any big way. I watch his stuff all the time and he delivers but he just doesn't stand out with me.
It's a very personal list that is more about what I like the best moreso than actually what I think is technically the "best". Like with DIGITAL PLAYGROUND... I'm sure that VIVID, WICKED, GIRLFRIEND FILMS or other studios probably do better feaures in many ways than DP but I prefer the DP approach. KINK.COM may does better Hardcore than EVIL ANGEL but I really haven't seen that much of their stuff and it isn't my cup of tea. My opinion of BRAZZERS is solely based off their DVDs not their website so I'm probably only seeing their best stuff and not the overall product. I'd be very surprised if anyone completely agreed with me.
thats true Lexington Steele does have a bang bang approach in his films and LT seems a little more gentle but LT looks like somone's drunk uncle or father he just looks like a old drunk man and thats a turn off to me, I look at Lexington Steele and he is just so posed and intelligent maybe because I am attracted to nerdy intelligent Men.
No Vivid doesnt put out Weak Sex out of all the Vanilla Sex Companies Vivid puts out the hardest Sex, Wicked uses condoms which takes the Kink factor out of the Scenes, and Adam & Eve is just outright boring with no spice to thier films and hardly know anal
I don't think VIVID puts out "bad" or "boring" movies on a technical level but I just don't have any interest in the type of movies they make these days or the girls who star in them. I'm not a big fan of the type of features they make. Also, as far as I've seen none of their current line-up of girls do much for me. Savanna Samson is supposedly a big deal there but she does nothing for me and neither does Kimberly Kane. They might be great performers and even do great acting but I'm not into them. I was a fan of the Tera Patrick stuff because I thought Tera was hot worth it to fastforward through the story to see her scenes. Same with Janine during her boy/girl era at VIVID. Otherwise, my fav VIVID movies are the compilation DVDs that feature a particular girl from the past. With the compilations there's no story to fastforward through and just sex scene after sex scene of girls I like. "Vanilla sex" is fine with me if I think the girl is hot. But the "vanilla" stuff will always lose out if I have options. I'm content watching Kira Kener in the "vanilla" VIVID movies but if Kira ever did some some JULES JORDAN, EVIL ANGEL, or ELEGANT ANGEL stuff and I had a choice I would never bother with her VIVID stuff. It's not even about "circus acts" as much as it's about seeing her do different types of scenes rather than that same level of performance.

Elegant Angel (not much beyond LT...based on brothers though) very hot women, top names 6. Evil Angel (could probably be higher, but don't watch as much anymore) see above! 7. Diabolic (probably based more on the past than present) 8. Black Ice (should checkout more, not as familiar as I should be) 9. Evasive Angel (great women, low quality) 10. Vivid (the only feature company that makes my list and just barely)
I think it's interesting that other than the JULES JORDAN and EVIL ANGEL stuff the studios I like most today are different that the ones I was into a few years ago. There was a time I watched lots of EVASIVE ANGELS, MERCENARY, BANGBROS, etc., and after a time I hardly watched their stuff. EVASIVE in particular seemed to have made a sharp turn with what they show and all of a sudden there was a lot of BBW, Huge Butt, "C" and "D-list" performers in most of their movies. I just got bored with Lex for whatever reason and started to only like him doing stuff for JULES. There were only a few series from BANGBROS I liked and after awhile their line up of gils wasn't as strong and I could see those same girls doing performances I liked better elsewhere. I guess more than anything I just get bored with certain studios after awhile and moveon to something else or another studio just stars doing something I like better. Or some studios start changing into something I don't like as much while others start to get better at what I like. For a long while WESTCOAST wasn't doing much for me at all now I'm a very big fan of their stuff. Same with ELEGANT ANGEL. For awhile BLCK ICE was doing lots ofstuff I liked...now not so much. I went through a HUSH HUSH phase but it didn't last long. I was into NAUGHTY AMERICA...until BRAZZERS showed up and lured me away.
u have to understand the thing with Feature Porn Companies like Vivid/Wicked/Digital Playground is that u get to see ur favorite Porn Actress having straigh sex without being degraded, from what I understand a lot of men watch Vivid Porn to see thier favorite stars not being spit on, chocked or hair being pulled or seeing them lick mans ass, thats the problem with Porn companies like Jules Jordan, Evil Angel they stretch the limits, I have no problem with Gonzo Companies like Jules Jordan but every now and than u want to see a straight sex with kissing and caressing and not always cum swallowing, so its get to have Vivid and Wicked Porn Companies around for that.
