any insiders want to drop the bag? what business model is working the best? any under the radar websites that are doing well. I am more interested in the under the radar type sites, not the obvious porn sites that are doing well. everyone bitches about dvd sales but a site with 1000 members at $30/m is $30,000/m for those who dropped out of highschool. come on...isn't this where the money is?

Best ways to succeed are to create a site based on a very narrow niche/fetish or create something completely new and unique.

50% of the revenue goes to referral programs, 15% to the billing processor, 10% into servers and bandwidth...

True, there is nothing new under the sun. But there are plenty of niche subjects which remain unexploited from a website standpoint, or have not been done well. For quick example: the equivalent of JBvideo.com but specialize in voluptuous/thick/bigbutt/BBW/mature type of models and pornstars does not exist.

Probably why VOD sites like Clips4Sale are thriving. They take 40%; you don't have to invest or pay a cent. The problem with that is it makes the clips so damn expensive.

Damn skippy. There are a lot of clips on C4S sites I'd really like to buy, but I have a hard time justifying paying $10 for a 10 minute clip when I can buy a whole video for $10. It'd help their cause with me if they'd improve their previews, i.e. have clickable thumbnails that link to screenshot pages for every clip instead of having those 10-second previews in the best of cases and just one screengrab (if it's even a screengrab at all) in the worst of cases. Buying many of the clips strewn across all their sites is taking a leap of faith.
And to the topic at hand, yeah, C4S probably does very well for itself.
