I think anything older than fifteen years should be labeled "vintage". Especially since the quality of those older films are poor compared to today.

I disagree. Vintage has long been used to describe pre-1970s. Then there's the golden age, then there's the silver age, and then there's the Internet age. If someone wants to describe something fifteen years old, surely "classic gonzo" or "classic Internet age" would be much clearer than "vintage." I guess "vintage gonzo" etc might work.

I think that "vintage porn" really applies to anything that was originally shot on film and shown in theatres.
The Film Era
Also, the 8 mm films and loops, typically shown in "peep booths" and/or sold to private collectors, would also be properly referred to as "vintage," IMHO.
Following that, we have distinct technological eras:
The VHS Era #1 - When movies originally shot on film were released as the first porn on VHS titles
The VHS Era #2 - When movies moved from being shot on film to being shot on video, and released directly to the consumer without ever being released to theatres
The DVD Era - The DVD became the dominant media for release of porn
We are now in flux, with DVD remaining the dominant media for outright sales of porn, and Membership-based Internet sites offering streaming and downloads of movies and scenes.
Since Blu-ray never caught on with porn, website downloads are basically the only way to get porn in 1280 x 720, 1920 x 1280 HD and 4k resolutions.
Although, today, almost all porn is shot in HD, when it is released on DVD it is only in standard definition, not HD.
Now, don't confuse anything I've written with the "Golden Era" (1969-1984):

O.k. Goldstein, that makes sense. Speaking of peep booths and 8mm, man they made some great porn. The men all had their hairy bodies and the women all looked like street walkers. Ten times better than some of the poorly filmed pablum we're fed today. VHS was an era where things took a mass marketing turn. All the salaciousness that was so attractive about the 8mm era started disappearing. Films started becoming about stories with the emphasis dialogue and furniture. The 8mm films had no sound. It was a kind of silent era so all the focus was on the fuck.

We could use a better term for porn from the early internet days. Maybe "classic internet porn?" Something with vintage connotations, since "vintage" has been taken.
