I'm sick of this pig bloated version 2. Sometimes it uses 99% of my resources for up to 15 seconds at a time.

That doesn't happen with mine. Maybe the problem is with a plug-in, not with FF itself.

The only time I see FF use a bunch of resources is when it's processing a huge XML file.

I could try disabling them. About 2 weeks ago I saw that ff was using 1,007 Mbytes. This is the highest I have ever seen of one application.

About a month ago, the browser started freezing for 30 seconds at a time, finally this message pops up. I did all the troubleshooting tips I could find, but none of them worked.
