But now the Taft Police Department is involved and this stunt all of a sudden seems a lot less fun. Both the Taft Police and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) are investigating whether the pilot of the plane should get some serious heat for allowing this to happen. While it is technically legal to have sex in a private plane, The Sacramento Bee reports that "FAA spokesman Ian Gregor says any activity that could distract the pilot while he's flying could be a violation of federal regulations." The skydiving sweethearts are reported to having started the act on the plane and then continued once they jumped out in tandem into the air. NBC adds that Skydive Taft owner David Chrouch has fired Alex Torres but hasn't decided yet if he will fire the company's receptionist, Hope Howell. Authorities have also reported that Torres had the video on his blog but removed it as of Monday. At this time, not criminal charges are pending.
