AVN: Pros - more stars, more companies, more freebies (T-shirts and stuff), more parties
Cons - more expensive, more crowded

I've now been to both and I'll say Tricia has hit it pretty good with her assessment. Erotica LA is similar to AVN in that you have a lot of the same stars but it's a smaller scale version and like Tricia said more freebies and you have the lure of Vegas so if it's a choice between the two I'd try AVN because there will also be more ADT people there as well!

money or crowds don't bother me. I just want a hotel in Vegas that's within walking distance of the expo center. getting lost sucks

I've only been to Erotica LA, and it's definitely worth checking out. I would like to check out the AVN expo, but I can't afford to go to Vegas.

do the pornstars charge for pics and autographs at AVN? I went to Glamourcon in Chicago and the girls were asking $10 for a picture!

No the girls do not charge for autographs/pictures....usually they will sign some items that you brought with you as well, I had a bunch of my DVD covers and pictures signed.

But murmur, don't freak too much about the get lost thing. You can depend on cab drivers, valets, baggage people, pretty much anyone to point you in the right direction.

Yah, amazingly the service people in Vegas are really cool. They're informative and courteous (which seems impossible after seeing the crush of tourists that filter through that place in one day!).

I remember being ridiculously tanked and probably acting like a belligerent azzhole with some friends while we were gambling at the Bellagio . . . yet the doorman & cabbie were just as nice as when we were sober and just sightseeing.

But Vegas is really a cool place and consumer oriented.

I, too, hope to make it out for my first convention.

can somebody please give me some advice i just found out about adultcon and i will be on holiday in orlando at the time so what i would like to know is
1 is it worth going to as this will be my first one.
2 the best and cheapest way of getting there .
