I was just watching Gang Bang girl 12 from 1993 and saw Kitty Yung doing a DP scene. I didnt thin DPs were all that commom back then. Wondering who was the first actress to do DP? Also,what DP scenes do people remember prior to 1990?

I have seen some old 1900 loops that had DPs. There only so many sexual acts known to man. The current generation didn't invent sex on film. But I have to say that it was very uncommon for the top (ie, attractive) performers to be seen doing such acts prior to the 1990s.
The first DP scene I saw was Pleasure Hunt 2 with Ginger Lynn, but I had not seen yet New Wave Hookers and I don't remember which one of those two titles was made first. But watching your first DP brought excitement to a level that just those films could carry. Ginger made history her own way! I know it is less exciting to some folks here, but which title in the US brought the first DAP? In Europe, I guess, there were clips made available centuries ago, but here, when did it happen for the very first time? My first scene was Aurora Snow in Gang Bang Auditions 7 in 2001, followed by Space Invaderz the year after. And yours?
It seems like I saw one on an old B&W loop from the late 50's (on a DVD featuring old stag loops, I am not in my 70's yet). Boy has the production quality improved over the years.
How about DPP? My first recollection is of Traci Lords in "The Grafenberg Spot." It surely must have been done before that, though.

Prior to the video age; Anals, DP's, and I/R didn't happen much, but I did read a quote that DP's picked up steam after Ginger made "DP's" fashionable in NWH. You read me right, the actual quote was she made them Fashionable. Funny thing is later in his career, one of the Dark Brothers, directed several Britney Spears videos.
The first recorded DP was by one of stag's earliest performers back in 1946. Her name was Frannie "Boom Boom" Gruber. Frannie was a fav performer in her day because of her large chest (hence the nickname "Boom Boom") and her willingness to perform with 2 men at the same time (uncommon in those days). Frannie made a whopping 12 dollars per scene. That was considered big money in the 40s. Frannie's very first DP was an unplanned event. One that particular day Frannie was working with two of her favorite guys: "Big" Mike Lavine and Chester "cubby" Haney. While filming the scene with the two men Frannie was in the position we know today as "cowgirl" as Big Mike laid on his back pumping away at her while Chester got blown by Frannie. After about 2 minutes of blowing Chester Frannie complained of her jaw starting to lock up and had to stop blowing Chester.(Lock Jaw was fairly common in those days). Film was realitively expensive back then and the guy making the movie didn't want to stop rolling so the scene continued. Chester meanwhile felt awkward simply standing there and tried a number of things to insert himself into the sex. At one point he climbed on Frannies's back and started dryhumping her. During this the director told Chester to stay in that position and for Chester and Mike to take turns giving it to Frannie. But Big Mike refused to stop humping Frannie. Chester at one point tried inserting his penis into Frannie's vagina while Mike was still inside but couldn't fit (The first DPP wouldn't happen on film for another 6 years). It was then that Chester went for Frannie's unoccupied hole and film's first DP happened and porn would never be the same. Back in those times it wasn't called "DP" but called a "Two'fer". For awhile Frannie was an in demand performer as she was the only one brave enough to do "Two'fers". Unfortunately, Frannie's rising porn career was tragically cut short after she was killed by the kick of an angry mule mere months later Frannie was 26. Less than a year later an undisclosed VD took the life of Chester "cubby" Haney. Big Mike Lavine stayed in porn for a few more years until but had trouble maintaining an erection because of his heavy drinking. Today many of the top pornstars site Frannie "Boom" "Boom" Gruber as an inspiration. "She was daring and unafraid to take things to the next level. She's the kind of pornstar we all strive to be" said one recent AVN Performer Of The Year winner.
^ For those posters born after 1975, "VD" (venereal disease) is called "STD" today. I still use the term VD occasionally as well, so don't feel bad. Funny scene in Hooper (a movie with Burt Reynolds about stunt men in the mainstream movie biz), Burt's character hates the director that doesn't care about anything but his movie and pushes his stunt people to (and past) the limit. In one scene, they are talking about the director's birthday gift and Burt's character says to give him "VD". Everyone on set starts laughing at that comment.

Yes, you're right Georgina Spelvin did one. I've sort of gotten interested in the early 70's porn. It was just a bit too early for me, but what I like about it, was the sense of experimentation that was going on then, since no one really knew what the rules were.
Albeit dated by today's standards, this is one of the most memorable DP's I've ever seen. This was a real treat back in the day, and she was the top star at that time so it was impressive and important at the same time. I always loved the Dark Bros setups and dayglo colors and the sweat from the heat... good times!
In 1976's Sweet Punkin.., not only did C.J.
