Been there, done that, no need to do it again. Highly overrated if you ask me and way too many drooling fans who act like they've never seen a woman before. After waiting in line for Riley for 15 minutes and getting an autograph from somebody walking by, my wife asked, "What are you going to do with that?" I had no answer, and realized the whole idea of standing in line to get a performer's signature was kind of silly, so I stepped out of Riley's line even though I was about 5 people back. Good thing also as Capt. Sweatpants in front of me clearly needed to take a shower. After cruising the Joint and the adjoining halls, we caught the red carpet, and then hit the Hustler Club and some of the feature dancers.
I spoke with one of the girls who was supposed to be available for photos and after she told me who was running it, it all made sense.
She told me that AVN shut it down, as the man running it was making it look like a AVN event which it was not. Jason Blaustein from Pennsylvania was running the event. He owes a lot of girls a LOT of money for past signings and other deals.
One prominent 2020 award winning industry person was looking for him during the show as Jason owes her several thousand dollars. He told her he would sell some of her scene worn clothes, she sent them to him, he sold them and never paid her. Now he will not return her calls or texts except for one message that told her that her payment was being delayed because she was slow to send him the clothes.
He has done the same thing with several other girls. Sometimes taking over a year to pay for clothes and photos signings. Sort of a small ponzi scheme.

I paid $250 for Thursday-Saturday stay at Paris this year.That casino room sucked, ya definitely get what ya pay for. Hard Rock wanted to charge me $2000 for a week stay when I tried staying there this year and last year. I will stay at Hard Rock or whatever it will be called for the 2021 AVN. I might as well try and see how it goes at least once.
Preach, brother. The two guys in front of us in line were wearing TMNT and Halo tees, and smelled like my 14 year old son.I don't understand the autograph fascination. Not just with porn stars, but with anyone famous. I'm generally content to meet someone, tell them how much I appreciate their work, maybe ask a question that's been festering for a while, and get a photo with them. 9 times out of 10, if you're courteous, sincere and articulate, you'll get some bonus conversation, or some insight.
I try not to put too much thought into why people do what they do. They have a right to collect how and what they want, it does not effect me. Who are we to judge?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As for the smelly people. If you have read any studies the majority of "millennials" do not use deodorant. And the majority wear there underwear for multiple days between changes (same as many as a week). This partially explains the smells.
WTF are you talking about? We didn't need to get slightly scolded with your random post about not judging people who want to wait in lines for autographs. If someone wants to wait in line for 2 hours to get an autograph, its their 2 hours. The other guy and myself just said it wasn't for us.
As far as reading "studies" about body odor, again WTF is the point of your post? I don't need to read a study to tell you Capt Sweatpants stunk because
1: his spaghetti sauce and other stains of mysterious origin sweatpants were at least a month away from having seen a washer. 2: he needed to visit a shower and use some soap and water. Shampoo would have helped the greasy mat of hair on his head. 3: he wasn't a millennial
Body odor has always been an issue for many attendees not subcribing to social conventions.
The rule against interchangeable lens cameras and video cameras by non-press have made the lines more bearable for the audience in general. It makes the line quicker as tons of amateurs who never publish a photo or video in their life from dominating the girls time or interfering with the flow of traffic. That is the reason for the rule.
I get why girls charge for an autograph or a signed picture and have no problem paying it. Some girls have told me that it costs them over $7000 to come to the show and they have to make it up someway.
However, some girls are just ridiculous. I asked Darcie Dolce for a picture (just by herself) and she said $10 for a photo, $5 for this, $15 for that, $20 for the other thing....I got out of there before she charged me for breathing the same air.
My general issue with this idea is that it would take longer for me to use my phone camera to take a picture (because I'm generally using my phone for other things between meeting performers and would have to go back into the camera app and set it up) than it did taking my SLR (which I generally had out and ready if I knew I was just going up there to take a picture). I get it in general, and I still think the actual problem in terms of last year was not giving any advance notice of the change and not the actual camera ban in itself, but I think there are better ways to handle the issue of "people taking up too much time with performers" than banning what are now just semi-pro cameras.
I don't think people using cameras with interchangeable lenses and video cameras holds up the lines. I think those guys who are wildly gesturing and going on and on who feel that every girl wants to hear their entire life story holds up the lines. If I see one of those guys at the front of a line I go to a different line and come back later. And people who want stuff signed that don't have it ready when they get to the front of the line holds things up.
This is the truth that summarizes the entire porn/adult modeling scene.
Also most of these guys think that somehow they'll get to have sex with these girls, that why they'll buy a photo that will end up lost anyway, or buy them gifts from an online wishlist, also why these girls hide their husbands/boyfriends and children.
If you actually took the time to talk to an AVN official or to a security person you would get different reasons than what are being given on here.
Cameras with removable lenses are "professional" cameras. If you think back just a few years ago people held impromptu photo shoots in the aisles (much like they still do) and would then sell packets of "candid" photos on eBay. The companies were supposedly behind the push to ban these types of cameras. Now point and shoots and I-Phones can take nearly as good a photo and they still cause major stoppages to traffic flow inside the show.
As for the bag size limit, this is the norm at most places now. Try taking a bag into a sporting event. But the way around it was to go into the show and pick up a bag from MFC or Bad Dragon and use it. As long as it was a show bag they did not care about the size. It was nice not seeing rollerbags rolling around the show for people to trip over.
It is all just the times that we live in.
As for the amount of money being spent to attend the show, a lot of that depends on the time of booking. My airfare was $600, that included luggage. My hotel was $985 for Monday thru Friday at the Hard Rock and Friday night at the Embassy Suites. You can book the hotel thru the show web site usually in late September. A friend of mine booked in mid January and hios room was over $2000 for the same dates. A four day pass to the show was $125. I heard people saying that they paid $1500 for an all access VIP pass and all it got them was admission to the show and access to the nightly parties, I asked how many he went to and he said One. That they were to late after a day of walking around the show.
My major complaint was the prices inside the hotel. $5.99 for a soda or Orange juice. $14.90 for two slices of pizza and a soda. The restaurants inside the HRH suck. Supposedly next year there will be 8 new ones but they are keeping Nobu and the Steakhouse.
Hotel restaurants in Vegas are always gonna be expensive, no matter which hotel you're at.
And if they were really worried about the lines and how much time people take in them, what they'd ban are the guys that bring 50 pictures of each girl and have them sign each and every one. But those guys (usually) pay for that, so I doubt it happens.
I know two of the guys who do that. Most of those are prearranged with the girls. I have been in the hotel room of one of the guys and seen girls lined up to sign for them after the show also. I have seen the texts from the girls to one of them asking in advance how many photos they will be bringing them to sign. It is guaranteed money for the girls and usually takes less time than the impromptu photos sessions.
I think we can all agree that the lines will never go away. Costs will continue to rise. We will keep going, We will keep complaining.
It matters how associated you are with these vendors for somebody that just collects autograph as a hobby. You have recited several complaints by performers like Whitney over the past several years that are actually about vendors.
Yes, i have. I have passed on information that i have gathered from others. I have also passed on many names that i have gotten from them side they have the contact information of the girls and speak directly with them.
I'd prefer you stop criticising the performers who refuse to sign items for you or overcharge. It is clear that those performers are lumping you in with those autograph vendors, mistaken or not, when they do that.
I highly doubt that. It is not like we go to the tables (booths) together. The ones that I have been there and seen when they are getting their photos signed have never been an issue. And with what I am getting signed they are not confusing me with them.
I really feel odd that I now have to defend myself to someone who knows NOTHING of the situation, and does not know me. All he/she has is their personal assumptions. Almost makes me just want to stop contributing information on this board.
This is getting stupid, if it wasn't for bigjigglies for all the names posted year after year this would be 2-3 paged at best so you most have some nice connections. If the women are willing to sign for sellers that's their choice and some do it willingly but most get paid. Riley Steele signed 25 photos for a guy last week at the evil angel booth and when she asked him if he was a seller he said no he trades with other and she was cool with that answer.
Two friends of mine attended the show on my behalf (I was unable to make it), and picked up a bunch of signed items for me. The observations they reported were ridiculous prices and security, the stupid 2 X 4 bag policy, the hugely-long lines of Riley Reid & Angela White, and the staggering number of girls they never saw or may have even not attended the event at all. Some of those names are Christiana Cinn, Diamond Foxxx, Winter Jade, Kayla Kayden, Isabella Nice, Paige Owens, Crystal Rush, Richelle Ryan, Sofi Ryan, Nicolette Shea, and August Taylor. Did anyone else from the board here who were at the show see any of those girls on any of the four days ?
Also, my friends mentioned a couple of girls that were major sticklers with their signing policy. Becky Bandini and Gianna Dior, who would only sign 2 photos each despite not being overly busy. Very disappointing for their most dedicated and devoted fans, who diligently support them and buy their products, only to be shunned away like peasants.
Wonder how the show will be next year with the Hard Rock Hotel changing to the Virgin.
Didn't think Becky would be like that since it is so early in her career. Riley Reid would make sense to do that since it's hundreds in a line waiting for her. Anyone seen how many girls are coming down with the AVN Flu so far on twitter? It's nuts
I did Christiana Cinn's booth in the corner of the Novelty room, but did not see her at the booth. I did see and speak to Paige Owens who was walking around. She said she was not signing, would not be attending any Exxxotica expo's but did hope to return and sign at next years AEE.
^^ I did see Christiana at her booth in the Artist Hall ( Novelty section ). It was my only " uncomfortable " situation at AEE this year. She was promoting a product line at that site and did not view it as a meet-and-greet opportunity. She told me that she was going to be signing and open for photo ops at the AVN Stars area later that day ( Friday ). We talked a little about her product but it was clear, I was not a potential buyer so our encounter was a little chilly. Strangely enough, she did sign a photo that I provided and charged $5. I walked away feeling somewhat bad because I think she would have been happier to see me at the AVN Stars booth than her booth in the AH. Long story short, you dodged a bullet by not seeing her in the Artist Hall ( Novelty section ).
I may not know who you are, but I know most of the performers that you have commented on in the past. It is clear that they did not want to autograph what you had for your price point. No need to name them.
Christiana was at AVN Stars along with her bath products booth. Isabella Nice was at her agency booth. Paige Owens was at the back AVN booth and participated in many of the events.
Richelle did NOT go this year, I talked to Nicolette Shea on Friday at the AVN Stars booth (a friend of mine asked me to get something from her to him since he couldnt make it), she was nice. I think Isabella Nice hugged me one of the days I spoke w/Zoe Sparxx at Nexxtlevel booth, i could be wrong though about Isabella hugging me as it was early and i was exhausted that day
You beat me to it about the bag policy, it was also noted that people couldnt bring in their laptops, ipads, or in my case, tablets. They had me take my tablet elsewhere but yet i saw people bring in their portable computers, weird. I dont think the new owners will change much of the AVN show until after 2021 if they do.
Yep, she was at the Bang Bros. booth in the Muse all 4 days of the show. It was my first time meeting her and she was great in person. In addition, she was NOT selling " bath " products.
It was an absolute pleasure, seeing you at AVN again, Carmen... You looked sooo sexy & absolutely amazing, as always!!! You always make me feel like I'm the only man in the room, which I appreciate... Love You!!! Signed ~ Greg Taylor, the wonderfully handsome brotha in the mobility scooter...
Any of the people that post here plan on attending any of the Exxxotica shows coming up this year ?
I usually go to Chicago but I'll have to miss it this year since I'm having surgery 10 days beforehand.
I have never been to either a AVN or Exxxotica convention. Just curious.....Can somebody who has attended both please elaborate on what the main differences are between the two ? Is one show considered better, or more popular, than the other ? Do the big-name female stars typically prefer one over the other as far as signings go ? Thanks in advance.
AVN - more performers and the lines are longer. Exxxotica - less performers and the lines are shorter.
Captain Jack said some girls are just ridiculous in try charge fans for everything in sight.That Darcie Dolie was crazy in chargeing everything that got out of there before she changed him for beathe the same air.Then some stars will tell fans to spoil them with free gifts from they wish list.since some stars want fans spoil them with free gifts from their wish list.Then the stars shouldn't be money hungry and charge fans for everything in sight.They treat fans like ATM machine to get money from.They they expect fans spoil them with free gifts.The money they already getting from charged fans for everything in sight.The stars should have enough money to buy their own gifts they want.Stars shouldn't tell fans to spoil them with free gifts,when stars act money hungry and charge fans for everything in sight and makeing fans feel they will charge fans for breath the same air as them.
Today, I saw on Samantha Rone Twitter page, where she telling fans spoil her with free gifts. That is proven what I said in my last post about stars always tell fans spoil them with free gifts. Yet when fans asked for a autograph.Stars want be money hungry greedy and charge fans for everything in sight. Since some stars are money hungry greedy and want charge fans for autograph and for everything in sight.Then the greedy money hungry stars have no right telling fans spoil them with free gifts.That is taking unfair advantage of fans.It show they don't look at fans as people. It show stars are cold hearted and they look at fans at as bank to get money from.How would stars feel about fans tell the stars to spoil them with free gifts? The stars wouldn't like it.So some stars should stop being greedy and money hungry to the fans. Also the stars should stop telling fans spoil them with free gift. The Twitter page of Samantha Rone proven what I said about stars always tell fans to spoil them.Yet when fans want autograph.Stars want be greedy and money hungry to the fans.
^ ^ LOL, Google Translate is making you sound like a robot.
As for your complaints about pornstars charging for autographs, as someone mentioned in this thread weeks ago, you need to keep in mind that many of these pornstars spend a fortune (of their own money) to attend this event in the first place.
Google translate is one making sound like a robot. It not my complaint that pornstars chargeing for autograph.. Captain jack made a comment about a pornstar was being crazy and charge for everything in sight.He felt he have to leave before she charges him for breath the same air. I just say I understand what Captain jack is saying. You don't understand what Captain jack is saying. With me, it. About pornstars tell fans spoil them with free gifts.When fans do the samething and asked for free autograph. The porn stars complaint the fans want free autograph. You need understand fans spend a fortune to give them a free gift. Also you need understand pornstars should treat fans the way the pornstars like treated. Since pornstars don't like fans asking for free things like autograph from them. Then pornstars shouldn't tell fans spoil them with free gifts. Pornstars have money to buy their own gift.They want a coat.They shouldn't be telling fan buy them a coat. Or if pornstar want tv.pornstars shouldn't be telling fans buy them tv.They make themselves look like gold digger and they don't care about fans as people.They only care about getting free gifts and money.Dana DeArmond went a far ask for free money. you trying to say it ok for pornstars asked for Free gifts?you try say it ok for pornstars tell fans spoil them with free gifts. You try to say it ok for pornstars like Dana DeArmond asked fans for free money. If fans do the samething.Then pornstars would cry about it.
As for them "having money to buy their own gift" they pay bills like everyone else and budget their money accordingly. If someone wants to or doesnt want to buy something of a PS wishlist, that is their choice. No one is forcing them to buy stuff off a PS wishlist.
Geoff 777 is saying even Jeff Bezos is the richest person in the world at $123.9 billion. Even Jeff Bezos have his own money,$123,9 billions and budget this money according.That is ok Jeff Bezos tell people give him gifts.Also Geoff 777 saying aslong Jeff Bezos don't put a gun to people head.then it ok for the richest man in the world tell people give him a gift. 1, pornstars tell fans to give them gifts.Pornstars tell fans to spoil them.That mean pornstars are hustling and telling fans spent a lot of money on them.That what spoil mean. Pornstars put the ideal in fans head to spoil them and spend alot of money on them. So it not fans choice.If pornstars wouldn't tell fans spoil them. Then alot of fans wouldn't spoil them with a lot of free gifts. 2, pornstars cry about fans want free things. My point since pornstars always telling fans to spoil them with free gifts. Then pornstars shouldn't be complain about fans want free gift. 3, prince yahshua a black pornstar complain about fans getting free things. fans don't put guns into porn stars to get free things.so pornstars like prince should be complain about fans get free things.4,Alina Lopez said she make so much money from porn that she can stop working for a month.Since she made so much money from porn.Then she and other pornstars shouldn't be hustling and tell fans to spoil them with free gift and money. Fans they earn money to pay rent and buy foods.pornstars make alot more money then fans.common sense say pornstars should give fans free gifts.Fans the one need help.
