I've traveled all over the world and Israel has the most beautiful women of any country I've been to, hands down. The porn industry in Israel is huge also. So I guess I have two questions. 1.) Why isn't there a lot of Israeli porn being sold on American websites or adult DVD stores in the US? 2.) Why aren't American companies hiring many Israeli girls? A lot of Israelis I know would like to move to America so there are definitely a lot of girls who'd be willing to work in America. Also, Jews don't tend to have much of a problem with pornography. Most Israelis are secular Jews and the ones that are religious tend to be involved with some liberal branch of Judaism. You add that all up, it doesn't really make sense why there aren't more Israeli girls or Jewish girls in general working in American porn.
1. Do you really think customs is going to just wave job lots of porn on through? Absent the ability to import Israeli porn, how are American websites supposed to sell the stuff? 2. American companies aren't hiring many Israeli girls because there aren't many Israeli girls wandering around porn valley looking for work. PS - Before you ask, no, customs isn't going to let them in just to do porn.

Aries Stone and Stephanie Cane are the only Israeli contemporary pornstars that I know of in the American industry. Aries Stone however has apparently quit doing hardcore. There is an Israeli porn industry, but its very amateurish and of low quality. as for Israeli girls doing porn in the US - It might be a problem since Israeli society is very family oriented, Israel it self is an extremely small country (its actually smaller the New Jersey ) and everybody knows everybody, so a porn actress will instantly be "outed", will lose her privacy and will have to face all the usual issues porn actress has to deal with - just in a higher intensity. beside Israeli girls go to the army from age 18 to 20, so all the teen market is closed for them :-)

Can porn potentially be some sort of terrorist weapon?I don't know how true that is because every American porn site I visit tends to feature some Euro stars. US studios under 18 USC 2257 as well as immigration laws cannot use foreign talent unless they have the proper VISAs. Pornstars dont usually get granted VISAs. Studios can go to foreign countries to shoot though.
I would not categorize Steve Holmes as "smelly". Steve also post here (and seems like a very nice guy to talk to), and I would like to keep it that way. Please keep the snide comments to a minimum until a person actually deserves them. Why are there very few Israeli women in U.S. porn? A few reasons: #1 - Israeli porn talent are busy making porn in Israel, why travel half way around the world when you can make decent porn in your homeland? #2 - Israel contains approximately 0.11% of the world's population. If we suppose the ethnic make up of the porn community mirrors the world population it can be estimated that one out out every 1,000 porn stars should be Israeli. You're a tad of base. US Customs/Border Patrol has nothing to do with Immigration. If you've ever travelled international and returned you made 2 stops, customs AND immigration. Any Israeli can come to USA (and vice versa) with a valid passport and stay for less than 90 days, longer requires a visa. In 90 days lots of porno can be put on dvd. c ya.
Having been an international traveler myself, I know that there are different kinds of visas issued by the US and Canadian governments. Those on tourist visas (the easiest to obtain) are not allowed to work while here, period. There is a different (and much harder to obtain) visa for working. In order to obtain that visa you have to prove that you are not taking a job from an American (or Canadian) or prove that your contribution to our society is unique and cannot be provided by someone already in country. In porn that is very hard to do. If you come here only on passport (I am surprised to hear that an Israeli is allowed to do so), you are not allowed to work, period. We have very tight immigration laws here in North America. It is not like the UK where you just move in and three months later you get socialized health care, the right to work and vote in UK elections. I understand as long as you aren't an Arab immigration to Israel is also quite easy, maybe B. Skow should move there for six months and make lots of Israeli porn.

Interestingly, Israel is not part of the Visa Waiver Program, so that's not true, at least, according to the US embassy in Tel Aviv. An Israeli will require a visa, in addition to a valid passport, in order to enter the US.
That is not what I have read and heard. As far as health care, the UK site is very explicit that you do not have to be a citizen of the UK to get socialized health care, the only requirement is that you live in the country three months. It is well known that the UK has loose immigration policies (look at all of the Arabic immigration to the UK) and as far as Israel, I have read that if you are a Jew you are guaranteed admission. I understand Christians are also looked upon favorably for admission. If you are from either country or have experience with immigration to either place, please make any correction you need. My point is that North American countries have very tight immigration policies compared to Europe or the Middle East.
I have had several pornstar clients rejected entry into the US because customs/ICE thought they were here to work. Believe it or not the guys that work in those positions know the industry, know the girls, know the agents and do bar people from entry for a period from 1 to 10 years. And you forget that US law requires a US ID for 2257 purposes. An Israeli passport cannot be used.

Not even remotely true. Well, the part about socialized healthcare (we just call it "healthcare" XD) is. But UK immigration is far from loose and it can be extremely difficult to get a work visa for the UK - unless, of course, you are a citizen of the EU, in which case you can work anywhere in the EU including the UK. Your religion has no effect on your immigration, and for a non-EU citizen there is no such thing as 'guaranteed admission'. I have no idea where you're getting this garbage. I think you confused my post. As far as religion having a basis, that was about Israel. That has been reported on the news several times re: Jewish death penalty cases. The person being tried moves to Israel and Israel refuses to extradite as well as allows the person to live there for life due to his religion. Last I knew, Israel is not part of the EU. Please read my post more carefully. As far as the UK, I don't remember if the situation reported had anything to do with the EU, so I will let that objection stand.

I don't belong to a certain sect (I was raised a Pentecostal), but I hear the Presbyterians and Catholics love their porn. And once a guy gets to like a woman, even if she is just a picture, then his feelings will change towards all people associated with her. This kind of thing happens automatically in people's subconscious minds. I think porn is a good way to promote peace between people.
