The customs declaration label appeared to be correctly filled in by the sender, and bizarrely the charges were listed on the parcel as: Import Duties - Nil, and VAT £Nil, yet they still wanted to charge me a handling clearance fee of about £10! The post office couldn't explain why I had been charged this when the item was under £18, so I returned it to the sender. Anyone else had issues like this? How can they charge me money when they shouldnt have stopped the parcel in the first place? [Link] |
